Insignificant Monster No More

Drained of opaque innocence
Perfected by your toxicity,
I was laid bare beneath the narcissistic sun,
Searing deep within dehydrated pupils,
Stripping my soul of all humanity,
until your sinister tongue was all I could hear.

Your empty promises clothed these bones;
running was no longer an option,
as hiding became nearly impossible within your shadows.

Voices, eating through my cerebral cortex,

Against thy will this life that I feel really just does not matter
Direct defense the pressures immense losing what's already lost
The voices, silent word, it's all absurd, all this continual chatter

Actions won't define and really not mine abandoning all self control

Each time that we ponder,
it can’t get any worse.
A new day brings some change,
that’s attached to our purse.

Usually its something small,
attempting to burst our bubble.
Feeling blessed and highly favored,
makes it insignificant trouble.

I put on my black leather trench coat from the wooden coat rack.
 Wrapping the navy-blue scarf around my neck, I started to go outside to enjoy the night.
 I watch the wind swirl the snow before me in the air and on the ground.

On One of Life's Totally Insignificant Incidents

I was walking back home through a park tonight
when something happened that gave me fright.
A big dog romped up and placed its teeth round my heel
and then romped away without taking a bite.
Good thing this dog must have just had a good meal.

Insignificant Realities

He spoke of a dream he had-

“I'm passing through a pyramid -
I am being pushed toward the outside 
toward the light, and I am wet”.

This was too easy. 
I told him
I understood the symbolism:
‘Your dream is about a spiritual rebirth.’
He seemed content.

he died of a heart attack
while leaving the glass pyramids

Staring at the Universe a speck of decaying dust, roaming like restless rust
A sovereign statue underrated & unjust, searching solitudes of trust
With a mirage of mirrors in my view, steering my soul to scantly skew
Meticulously moving quizzically on cue, banished beneath the blue

We are Nomads of the rising Sun, surviving the fields of oblivion as

I always have felt unimportant.
Never truly believing.
So I just 
Ignored everyone around me 
Going to their classes 
Not worrying about me.
I sat there quietly
Feeling like a nobody as
I was bawling,
Crying on the inside
And knowing it was pointless to worry
Now that everyone hates me.
Trust me, I am just insignificant.

That godless sound
His head explodes at 6:01am
Same as every day
He falls out of bed
Steps on the cat
Slides into his slippers
Shuffles to the kitchen
Puts the coffee on
Bumps his head on the cupboard door

Sits down and looks out the window
A blackbird is flying near
Leaves it’s mark on his sill

A Story of An Insignificant Mother

A story
Of an insignificant mother trailed.

When sledgehammered, pickaxed
Excavated, craned and the progress of
The ceaseless destruction of
Demolished construction railed.

So is a story
Of an insignificant mother trailed.

With wings flapped and heart ached, the dove
An emblem of peace hovered for some tranquility for itself, 
As the stuccoes tore to rain
With rusted flatirons and hanging windowpanes.

Insignificant Mortals

We are just one speck,
isolated in a world of trouble
Always does occur some shipwreck!
Pull back the mind from the shining bubble.

Shall we halt to question our existence?
Soon will collapse the forgotten tower,
Then will rot the wooden fence,
Why believe in mortal power?

Why face such deadly battles?
Success never grasps hold of time,
Earth with a sudden jerk, rattles!
