Premium Member INDIGO CROWN

I wrote this poem last spring and didn't post it. With summer's heat, the indigo crown has wilted...
spring crown
of indigo,
breezes gathering joy
contentment fills the warming air~
renewal

Premium Member INDIGO DAWN

Moths have stopped circling the porch light,
their wings now are as stiff as old letters.
The night stretches thin ~
a slow dissolving of indigo into nothing.

Somewhere, a dog barks twice,
then remembers it has no one to call for.
The wind picks up discarded leaves,
flipping them over like forgotten coins.

A train sounds its horn miles away,
a ghost passing through the ribs of the valley.
I stand at the window,
watching my breath fog the glass,
then disappear.

The dark is patient.
It knows how to wait
for the first hesitant fingers of sun
to pry open the sky.

Beach Find

Ocean
Indigo waves
Gather driftwood each spring
My weathered crown lies by my feet
At peace

Spring Ocean Crown

Ocean
Indigo waves
Spring waters gather peace
Contentment crowns the quiet sea
Gold crown

Premium Member INDIGO QUIET

Morning arrives on indigo blue,
soft as a promise the sky once knew.
Spring light gathers to uplift and renew~
and I walk wrapped in indigo quiet.

Breezes play and waves do crown,
carrying laughter across Baytown.
Contentment appears, calming me down~
and I walk wrapped in indigo quiet.

Shadows retreat from warming air,
leaving a path brushed with floral fanfare.
I breathe deep, becoming aware~
and I walk wrapped in indigo quiet.

Indigo Shells

Gather
indigo shells
from the soft ocean bed
contentment rises like the waves
Spring's crown

Premium Member Origami Heart

Onyx heart oh how it breaks
Red eyes cry painting face
Indigo tears feeling blue
Given best years to you
Amethyst soul once had hopes
Melted away like candle gold
Innermost turmoil loss of sleep

Hope a red river draining me
Emerald eyes that hypnotize
Accompanied by lavender lies
Ruby words that flatter me
Turquoise bird flying free

Indigo Hours

The world belongs to those who speak in whispers.
It exists in the soft space between the rain
and the glass, where time slows down
and the loud chaos of the day finally dissolves.
There is a heavy, beautiful peace in the dark.
Like velvet draped over tired thoughts,
the silence does not feel empty;
It feels full of unwritten music and midnight skies.
To exist completely in the quiet
is to know the truest version of oneself.
No masks, no noise, just the gentle hum of existence
waiting out the storm until the dawn.

Premium Member Fullness In Emptiness

“as both this form and boundless space
cravings of ego negated
awake, vibrant yet nonchalant
bliss drenched heart remains elated”

Feast and revel in ordo amoris,
the seether within stirs its godless bonds,
If not, what sings in harmony we’ll miss
thick or thin without sympathy desponds

We paint careful brush strokes without callus
slothful paint by number’s dupe self-spirals,
and not to fool one as the tenebrous,
whilst stratagem caliginous virals

We pen lucid images from the soul
without subterfuge there’s true belonging,
Clean and composed dignity merits gold,
gone—deep-seated universal longing

Emptiness stripped by turpentines amiss,
in fullness it streams harps euphoric gliss

Indigo sunshine

hey whats new?
I am making a poem
well how's it going?
working on it
that is good need any help
yes that would be nice how would you improve my poetry?
well can you dance with me?
we can dance like we are new to the seven seas
I like that notion
And can we improve with fostering emotions?
we can sow the seeds
maybe play some hoops
and go fishing?
yes all this and more
Wow thanks
You are my best friend and I am here for you dude
No silence in our own little world
hidden away from site?
no best to be open Lord's delight
yes agreed we may walk toward the sky
or sly the detection?
many such things unleashed
And a storm is brewing
maybe it is coffee sir?
yep we love to make this poem with you Patrick
Full surrender to Lord Jesus is best for me
thanks

tough for rough stuff
workwear for casual fits
rugged for donkey years
closets still store its cool warmth

twill-woven blue
white strewn over indigo
softness toughened with dye
its glory a wardrobe song

Needles of sleep still in my eye
Indigo dreams push, pass me by
Given the fullest bladder from hades
Have to run to the toilet makes a crazy
Teal thoughts of poetic bliss

Onyx night sky I’d be scared to remiss
Whites of my eyes turning red
Lovelies goodnight going back to bed
