Word play much-needed as I too had both those experiences at a time when funky ? Brass Monkey song, that funky monkey(lol). Enjoyed, twas cool as indigo ice, nice!

Dear Karen, I am glad your back and pray you are alright. Poem: Love the way you flip those two words and make the whole poem hinge on that tiny difference. It’s short, sharp, and has that grin-behind-the-lines kind of humor. “Indigo ice” is a great touch, too, gives the ending a cool little flourish. Blessings, Daniel
