Its 9'30 monday morning U K time the skies around London are the
Grey of grime.' Its like in the evening', a somber scene i
Think its taken from 'middle earths book' the fellowship of
The ring.? As by mechanical means the sky is sown.' To
Drown us in gloom, these clouds are grown.' To deny real
Life..To cause the farmers strife.' I consider only sad beings, could envisage and plan such an innings' closing
Churches and pubs.' Which don.'t need the pre-fix of hubs.'
Yet there is great capicity in humanity..' innate intelligence
That will counter insanity.' Dr evil and the devil bankers real Sickos.' Can only be the answer.' May the evil curse of
Pathogens enter into them and cover them, may no rest be given
Ever.' to these cretins of wicked endeavours.' May they be
Soundly mocked and forsaken. May their very presence of mind
Be taken.' May every sickness be their portion.' May they
Be a lesson of morality and cause repair.' So to the Bible
Many will hearken to avoid their own souls being darkened.'

Premium MemberJill and Lucille

Jill and Lucille are two very hungry slugs
They often dine out at their local garden food hubs.
Lettuce, flowers, fruits, sunflowers and beans
These are a few choices from these veggie canteens.

Some clues are noticed from a gardeners view
Slugs are not clever, they often leave one big clue.
Slime trails are generally very clear to see
When they travel for food that they eat greedily.

Flowers without heads and partially eaten veg
It all looks a mess when a gardeners work has been wrecked.
But hedgehogs love slugs that are plump and juicy
That's when Jill lost her friend, who's nick name was Lucy.

Jill left the garden when her best friend became their snack
Near to a hill, is where she met her new friend Jack.
But as with all stories, they change over time
Snails morphed into humans and birthed the Jack and Jill rhyme.

But that is not the first or last of the Jill and Lucille tales
Many more will be published about their life in the Dales.
These girls will be as famous with modern songs for the young
Feminine nursery rhyme rights will never be outdone.

THE BEAUTY OF DUBAI

Dubai, a marvel nestled between nature's grandeur and technological prowess, enchants with its mesmerizing beauty. Skyscrapers reach for the heavens, their sleek forms kissing the azure sky.

Once tranquil fishing villages along the Arabian Gulf, now bustling hubs of life, Dubai boasts floating and soaring structures, embodying modernity's spirit.

From the curved grace of the Cayan Tower pulsating in the city's heart to the majestic embrace of the Emirates Towers, and the opulent silhouette of the Burj Al Arab, Dubai is a captivating sight.

Its beauty, a seamless fusion of human endeavor and natural splendor, transcends cosmetics, radiating from its gleaming visage, a testament to innovation and harmony.

Premium MemberZen Pond

The plum tree over the Zen pond,
reflects in vivid purple colors in the pond,
The scattered colored autumn leaves,
swim in the water with colorful carps with perpetual ease.

The optimist sees the sky is the limit and feel free,
as they watch fallen leaves touch the top of the reflected tree,
The pessimist visions the inspirations going downhill,
as the leaves wither and decay in the autumn chill.

The autumn moon covers the pond with its silvery light sheets,
The sky, galaxies, planets, stars and moon all reflect in its soothing bliss,
The whole contained universe is so calm, quiet and peaceful,
That even a tiny falling plum leaf creates concentric hubs of terrestrial upheaval.

What is the sound of silence?
Who is hearing this sound?
The peaceful heart sings its inaudible melody,
But always wonders, who is that hears?

Hubs

I met her in an International airport
we both chose to reach for the same magazine
at the same time.

Hubs can be vortices, either
you make your connection, or you don't.
Delay can lead you to travel different ways.

It was a 'Nat Geo' publication
so naturally we fell to talking
about our best catches and the ones that got away.

When they called her away
she hurriedly told me she was heading for Venezuela
for a photo shoot but lived in Seattle.
I told her to look for me in London nest time
she was there.

Time past. The connection was lost,
bad signal, bad timing, low energy-waves
in the stratospheric miasma of kismet?

Years later I saw her work in an article;
lizards, snakes, and exotic birds
but none of her.

I drove to Heathrow Airport anyway
just to feel again how close
distance can get.

Premium MemberChristmas Gifts - Be Careful What You Wish For

I'd wanted a boob job for years
Loud moaning was all my hub's hears
Neath the tree there's a voucher
Soon I won't be a sloucher
Hubs thoughtfulness brought me to tears

His present was such a fab gift
Boob implants and a full face lift
Now blokes ogle and stare
You should see hubby glare
This present has now caused a rift

Next year on our pine Christmas tree
A voucher for more surgery
With huge boobs I was cursed
I'll have the op reversed
Not all gifts will make you happy

Premium MemberKith and Kin

Whether mine sails in torrents, or sunshine,
can walk on water or sinks beneath waves,
hubs always succeeds to lift me up.

Children, like flagons of ludicrous wine,
their knotty, cynical, humor I crave.
My reflection whirls in cherished cups.

Hours spent, biggety list, sugar-cubed day.
Galbreaths intertwine in how we’ve been brave
or not; with emotive eyes, catch up.

Circle’s animated ~ in God’s olé

My nympho neighbour’s Sugar Cookie
She’s well known for her love of nookie,
Now she’s up the duff
Her hubs in a huff
And spends all his time with the bookie

Premium MemberFabulous Fall

My most favorite season of them all
is autumn, although some call it fall.
A kaleidoscope of such colorful leaves,
drift from trees on an autumnal breeze.

Leaves of ginger, ochre and fiery red
twirl in the air, and land on my head.
As we walk in the glen I cannot resist
kicking the leaves - hubs tells me to desist!

The biting wind has chilled us through,
so we amble home to eat warming stew.
Fall brings shorter days and longer nights,
snuggling by firelight’s one of falls delights!

Hope Renewed

I may be old fashioned but I think I will die,
Refusing to believe the lie,
That open plan living justifies wearing a suit and tie.

I am yet to be convinced on the merit of hubs,
Where the Doctors keep swapping patients,
And different sports are no longer good sports.

I think headphones were something worth inventing
But I don't think they were meant for keeping,
The conversation out and the noise in, when at an important meeting.

The good news is that I have not given up hope,
That open plans and hubs are on a slippery slope,
As my grandson who is no dope,
Looks to books to give him scope,
Which pleases this old dope,
Who sees no need of a rope,
As open plan living and hubs may soon be words not often spoke,
With a new generation dreaming of a Den or a quiet space to give them scope,
Which is all that we can hope.

Besides the Corona: Virus, That Is

I
while the airports and hubs of urban & urbane wane
television saturates itself with virus & old wives' tales
the city is still steeped in sin - by man's choosing

II
last night my town had hail, after weeks of rain
last year was all drought. Blessings 'midst the pain?
last shall be first says the Word - by free will choosing!

III
we picked up pock-marked plants, even veggies, this morning
hit by hail, yes, as I was marked by sin before repenting
MESSAGES? the same. the bible. sinners sin till the end

Hubs Favorite Thing

When my head becomes tired
My favorite place to rest
My head upon the soft curves
That make up your beautiful breast

Whether they are old or new
Whether they are big or small
Yours are my favorite pair
But I really like to like them all

I like the shirts that show them off
cleavage, is what I'd rather see
The curves that make up your breasts
Between them a deep valley

Women's breasts are my passion
There's not much that I like more
To see each pair of breasts out there
Now that's worth living for.

Tinselry

Varying tactics to deftest tongues,
I find it a futile taxing of tired lungs;
She hears finer tropes with disdain,
And loves lips that deal daring pain.

For fibs she sworn truths exchanged;
At once dazzled by such fiddly verbs
As paint fabled shades of gilded gold,
And cozy castles agleam in airy hubs.

When I say our love shall solidly dwell
Upon fidelity's firm bed of pure candor,
Smooth-tipped rivals juicier idioms tell
Of better treats and fairy Idylls grander.

To blur by guiles and gimmicks worse
Pledged long kiss on meadows green,
Feisty adversaries yet shameless vow
To garnish her with blues' fairest stars.

She in wind-chasing fantasies shuns
Her sincere love to fall for fizzy puns.
