A Magical Night

Majestic night, oneiric, peaceful, quiet, rustic,
fragrant with jasmine, primrose and moonflower,
timeless beauty descending at the starry hour,
a visitor of heaven on the earthen garden.

aromatic boughs, cling, dance, ebb, flow,
welcoming the visitor of divine dwelling,
songs of cicadas fly on nocturnal wing,
an ambiance of festivity and glee.

glorious, hopeful, inspiring, joyful, kindred,
spirits of nature, embrace the enchanting night,
brimming with happiness, a heartful delight,
one with nature, heart, soul and mind.

smiling, trotting, unfazed, vivid, wishful,
night’s beauty, hums a soft lullaby,
a time to sleep as the dreams pass by,
and the magical beauty of night, kisses goodbye.

The Illusions of Youth

a handful
a heartful 
but what part is the truth
dissolved and discarded
like salt in your soup
and you can never get it back
even if you wanted to
because you simply don't want it back.
it flies away
you shoot it down
it crawls away you shoot it down
it scurries down
you shoot it to hell
you did well 
and no one's proud of you
grow up
bamboo torture
execution
get things done
what are you gonna do about it?
what you've always done
and the cars hit walls
and the cars hit cars
fighting to be the next to die
in the ouroboral desert race
eating themselves, eating each other 
fighting to be the next to die
a handful
dissolved and discarded
they fly away
you shoot them to hell
they run away 
you shoot them to hell
waiting in line to be shot to hell
you did well
and no one's proud of you.

you dwelled on the illusions and reduced yourself to mere salt

and you can never wash it off

while we spread out our hands unto Him:
Praying for His might  
Pleading for His mercy
Presenting His majesty 
Performing by His molding
Pursuing through His mentorship

Ezra 10:3 Praise be to the Saviour for making us have 
covenant with Him as His: 
Saved saints by His grace
Sanctified stewards along His generosity
Steadfast soldiers along His gripping governance
Scripture-soaked students girded with His guidance
Strengthened servants goaded by His goodness and gladness. Amen!

The Tejano Queen

April rain fell from the sky 
like tears of mourn for a love gone by;
A memory of a golden past,
sweet love that ended so, so fast; 

A gorgeous face like a beauty queen;
A heart so soft and so pristine; 
Her voice that blew like a rhapsody 
in heartful hours of February. 

She was a queen in her own dominion.
She held her crown with deep devotion. 
She made hard days easy to pass. 
A glorious grace, she really was. 

Of all the days in month of April 
the sixteenth brought the lonely chill; 
The ides of March with a devious sound 
came echoing when no one's around. 

But her voice echoes in memories;
It's bound to live through centuries; 
For, her time is glorious to remember,
like a star that shines forever.

Last Tango

rattlesnake hearts bleed out from
superficial passive prison promises
negating antibodies of ever blending potentials
heartful beats skipping spikes of bypass benevolence,
ignoring loves ancient anchoring antibodies
withdraw, rest on moonbeam waters
that flow into your night of forgiveness shores
stray not from ultimate healing feelings,
revive your inner fathoms

Metrophobia

Is liking someone so uncommon
or wanting someone, a new phenomenon?

Are you an April - wreaking the milieu to discourage me?
Is that why you disparage him to such a degree?

He’s heartful and sincerious,
he’s slammin’ hot but oblivious.
He’s music, lust and fun,
all rolled into one.

So, I’m calling you off,
stop blowing up my phone.
You might as well not bother,
We’ve got dibs on each other.

What’s really good?
He’s really good.

wreaking =causing harm
milieu = the environment
heartful = honest and sincere
sincerious = sincere and serious
slammin’ = very, very f*ckable
dibs = a claim

This morn' I watched a coin be tossed into the sea,

Glittering and goading of all things merry!

It sang the sweetest song in the moments as it glinted and flew,

It made me smile awhile in soft sincere reminder of you.

Then it sank in somber waning song to the bottom of the ocean floor,

I can't help but wish I'd heard a heartful or a hundred more.

And so I wept a good sum once again today,

Over the coin that fell into the bay!

Milton Glasses

L Milton Hankins has remained the same.
However, the jasmine blooms withered over time.
He searched for his glasses, but where did they hide?
He looked everywhere, but he neglected to check on his head.

Darkness pumping
 Essence feeling
 a full engaged and centered 
passionate heartful full
 of feelings engaged

Stupid Love

Grown so far
Tried of playing these games
Mind twister
Heartful of crack

Lies
Betrayal
Foolishness

Thought
It would be sweet dream
Embracing open arms
Making beautiful love
Under soft sky

Yet
Lifeless on cold hard floor
Triggered
Every bad memory
Ghost from the past

Blaming myself
Too naive
Easy to believe
A big mistake

Why love can be hurtful
Cant love
But to hurt the vulnerables
Stripping away 
The innocence

Dry up purity
Unable to love again
Even crush
Never be found
No

Declutter this love
Do not need it
Does not spark me joy

Gonna bury it
Six feet under
Never wannna see again
Never wanna feel again

Forget about it
As time passes
Treating like it never existed

"HArTfUL"

Free from the air. Dream of the care. Love lifts light thru 
cliffs of dim hazel blue drifts. Lazy wind and breeze embrace the spill from all the waste. Grey green emerald skies
lap up the white flaked night. Riffs of scales and sounds 
and fables. All to see,all to believe,all together,all to gather.
Fill the void slowly.Don't let your heart overflow.

The petals’
Soft streaming
Aloft dreaming
Colors painted in mind
Lovers intertwined

Their taintless imaginations
Drainless infatuations
Obsessions with my feet
Reflections deep

Coves upon which
They meditate
