Stupid Love

Grown so far
Tried of playing these games
Mind twister
Heartful of crack

Lies
Betrayal
Foolishness

Thought
It would be sweet dream
Embracing open arms
Making beautiful love
Under soft sky

Yet
Lifeless on cold hard floor
Triggered
Every bad memory
Ghost from the past

Blaming myself
Too naive
Easy to believe
A big mistake

Why love can be hurtful
Cant love
But to hurt the vulnerables
Stripping away
The innocence

Dry up purity
Unable to love again
Even crush
Never be found
No

Declutter this love
Do not need it
Does not spark me joy

Gonna bury it
Six feet under
Never wannna see again
Never wanna feel again

Forget about it
As time passes
Treating like it never existed

Sue, thanks for writing on LOVE when it goes wrong. Well-expressed ... saddens me the poet, "Never wanna feel again"!? (Just saying, after not being with a woman since divorce in 2009, I found love again at 60, ten years later. (I was out of practice &thank GOD, who is the source of love. Not man) Humans poorly imitate the real SOURCE of love

Thank you Anil, greatly appreciate your comment. Glad that you find love after dark fall. Good to hear that. Initially and definitely not easy journey to find that hope and strength to be back on track again. Only surely with will, self reflection and refocusing, will be back to ourselves but just better with open eyes and heart. Every thing that fails has the reason to bring space of better life outcome. Take care and stay safe!
