Heartens Poems | Examples

OASIS

Like a spring of endless water
in the midst of the driest desert,
you are like water that flows from under
that braves the heat to quench my drought.

You are a stream that nurtures my dream
and rouses my great courage to sprout.
You make me brave against the storm.
Your mere presence heartens my heart.

You are a river that flows forever
amidst the desert of my soul.
You are a fountain that soars up high.
Your endless flow touches the sky.

When my journey's so long and winding
and paths I take are swirling and devious,
your heart gives me a place to rest;
A cozy home where I can refresh.

Follow Me- This Or That Poetry Contest 3rd Place

Come, follow me as I cross the river of dreams
Let my vigor be roused by the verve in your screams
I'm like a lion tamed by the warmth of your spark
You're the war song that heartens me to make my mark

You're the hand that pushes me to climb my mountains
You're the wind that blows through wild and misty mountains
So my faint heart when in deep doubt can see the way
Come, follow me, be my bright light, come, make my day

Premium MemberFinding Peace

Love flows through
The spirit who knows Him
The way, the truth, the life
Abiding on the inside
Whispering hope on the soul
Who hears His word
And knows…

The wonder of grace, precious faith
Raining through each prayer
Embracing the life who agrees…
His light reflects the passion, the praise
Of a heart who knows He is King

Love flows from the heart
Who hears His words and knows
There is joy for those who listen and receive
The beautiful promises of One who brings
Hope to the spirit, faith to the soul…
Love that inspires…

Hearts to know what it is
To believe in His assurances, His grace
The reflections of serenity
Brought to life in the souls of those who know Him
The One who is kind and wise and gives…
Every heart the spirit that comforts
The One who brings solace
The One who heartens

Love like this is complete
It stirs feelings of abiding relief
Gladdens the spirit and cheers the dreams
Of those who simply listen and believe
He is the way to find unending peace!

Hoping helps horribly
the hoping happens hopefully

the hoping hesitates hastily
the helpful hope hoping helps has hurriedly

Holds hoping handles hurtfully
the hoping heartens happily

A Best Seed of Love

My muse is here, seeds in my heart abyss
invokes a soul to wake and open up
a solid earth shall treasure such a bliss
and oceans are spared for me to grow up.

A best seed of Love, a soul, ever to grace
reaching my soil, digging up my gardens
the scent of divine, the mystery of space
enlightens my spirit and my Self heartens.

A flame of Life meant to glow and brighten
the darkest of dark and every sealed whole
the core of awareness, to touch and heighten
lit paths to walk and ascend, one is my dole.

Intense powers moving through my vessels
reloaded beyond control, the pain immense
what permeates my senses is new and special
the flow so mighty, dashing every single fence.

My poetry drinking from that pure well
unstoppable surge running in her veins
seeking fathomless beauties out of her shell
charmed trying to take over the reins.

Premium MemberThe Mockingbird

Oh how you cantilate and croon,
On pilfered beams from Mr Moon,
               Quite dapper, your tuxedo tails,
Yet stolen, too, your every tune.

It's not through lack of expertise,
Or dimming strains of vocal ease,
               That you're persuaded to perfect
All other's songs in grand reprise.

Such voice to set your dame afire,
The chorale king without his choir,
               There inside your feathered breast,
A heart that thrums with lilt desire.

Those jealous rivals hush to hear it,
Your damsel heartens to be near it,
The grandest copycat thus known -
Of sharp attire ... and dulcet spirit.

Premium MemberMy Eternal Grief

In sullen silence
darkness looms my thoughts
writhe with your absence.

My eternal grief.

A maze existence
till heartens soul rots,
ill vex incumbrance.

Longing your essence,
lumbering time jots
muffle remembrance.

My eternal grief.

Blessed Day

BLESSED DAY
At the crack of dawn
Begins another day
Call of chirping birds
Drowns the sloth away

Eggs us on to
Forget all woes
Gives us impetus
Heartens our souls

In the sweet warmth of sun
Jeers withheld melt soon
Kindles our spirits anew
Leads us to a bright noon

Moving with alacrity
Nimble footed and sure
Off we set to our goals
Purposeful and secure

Quite daunting sometimes
Roads we take may seem
Still we persevere forth
Till the lamp posts beam.

Closer We Get, The Farther We Look Back

Sad dying embers of yesterday's feast
interest and feed me not in the least
For the hearty joys that future shall give
heartens me to strive forever to live

Great memories of my family's past
flow blessedly with me until the last
Into the dark void my soul may soon fly
my past good and bad I will not deny

Returning often in my long night dreams
she of ravishing beauty, skin of creams
Memories of loves that took a wrong turn
yet with it all, my restless mind still yearns

Closer we get, the farther we look back
cherish our memories we stay on track

Do You Know I Write

Do you know I write poetry?
Do you know I write songs of love?
Do you really realise that I write not for fun?
My words are fire that pierces into heart;
They spit venom and doom upon the evil men.
My words are dangerous to the ears of the looters,
Listen careful, I still carry every heart in my palms
To thrust that which stand for my legacy.
If we die today, let's die; if we merry let's merry,
Only the heartens are fanatic of their mindsets.
Do you know I write not for fun but for change?

The Trees Are Calm

When of the world of doctors,I am sick.
When diagnosis is not any aid
When from the choices given, I cannot pick
Although I feel my deepest debts were paid.

Then off from thinking I must take my mind
To gaze upon the beauty of the woods
And feel the sun not fiery, even kind.
It warms and heartens even my cold blood.

The trees are calm for they have grown deep roots
Though storms may strike their trunks and branches too
breaking off new tender green tipped shoots
They sway and take it without much to do.

Strength needs flexibility and give;
With no such, the brittle shall not live

Amours Psychogenic Forest

************************************************************

Annunciations renascent bird in verve, upon an amulet wire my eyes do see!?

Animated, amid the sunburst branches as fluttering its tiny little wings ~

Chirping aside heartens amiable fertile waterfall, so joyfully splashing

Its springtimes radiant colours into the wellnigh river refined; interpose....

Lucy

Joyful O joy excelling
Feeling filling lips exalting praise
May the heartens live in malaise
Gnash under the ravishing heat like a praise
To him to whom they live to relive
In destiny thwarted, forgotten to have ever lived
All ye praise to God to whom they disbelieve
His eyes see through the seething darting eyes of Lucy
The morning light, what a sly
His vain beauty lies a fly praise
That housed his beautiful ambiance holding His praise
To whom he disbelieved
 What a Shylock
How 'tis to see the fanning seething heat
Ice cold laugh Lucy enjoins his own
He knows he only needs more of them
As a company in his quest for destruction
