It’s easy to act like what we see is fiction,
the S.O.S of breaking headlines won’t quit.
That burden of knowledge with no answer,
we’re desperate to unravel the incognito.

The S.O.S of breaking headlines won’t quit
no way to sort through its bloated jargon.
Hard facts shouldn’t need interpretation.

That burden of knowledge with no answer
welcome to where news is whitewashed.
One bait word and everyone’s seeing red.

We’re desperate to unravel the incognito,
illuminate a path of violet violent veritas
bent on reevaluating all that was before.

Come to me, my sweet

As the day approaching, your
really moving
I've faced hard facts of a
family lying
Totally scammers to people
of real hearts in pain
Appearance perfect with feelings in vain
My doubts and walking away
revealed layers
Hate Hate Hate
Forgive Peace Live
Time has passed and thoughts on Why, How do you Sleep,
Now answers of 5 years I don't need response
My writing is evolving with
my inner trust
Amazed at getting closure
is giving no control

When the universe is all right
My chosen one will shine
Excitement will lead smiling
Whom ever you are we deserve our ending

Premium Member True To The Cause

In the heart's quiet chambers, a fire burns bright..
Faith and loyalty, I do what is right.
Words I embraced, of promises you told..
Nothing ever happens, the stories getting old.

Loyalty whispers, to be honest and true..
But somehow, this never applies to you.
You act like a child, when caught in a lie.
The cold hard facts, you cannot deny.

Truth comes to light, nothing concealed..
In a world of unrest, your lies are revealed.
Each step we take, a rhythm, a song..
True to the cause, this is where we belong.

Facade

Halfway through learning life you find therein the games
Played by the oblivious and those who made names
Then your simplicity in view begins being challenged
As make believe is by hard facts rearranged
That society is both with and without bearing
For the old warmongering and peace brokering
Continue on side by side
Each taking turns at being follower and guide
And since good and evil formidably are frontiers
Furnishing many men with careers
Many men have become showmen
Obliviously courting omen
They play for whoever pays the pipers
Be they a flock or a brood of vipers
For only to themselves are they loyal
And money is their hearts’ royal
And they call their desertion a sacrifice
Though it be a cunningly justified compromise
And all these the young wait to ruthlessly learn
As we still claim to fight a brighter day to earn

Premium Member Man vs the Cold, Hard Facts

A man fights his best against the cold hard facts:
Physics, chemistry, biology and time.
With these opponents he gamely interacts.
Toiling, with love and dreams, any peak he'd climb.
Watching sports, it's the underdog that attracts.
So, choose man with his aspirations, sublime.
Each victory we must cheer and celebrate,
Knowing as we do, the cold hard facts await.

Reformation

There was a man that took a fall & was broken
in many ways
He had the strength to rise again after being betrayed
& led astray
Sometimes the pain is so great that it can throw you
off paths
When it rains it tends to pour but the onslaught never
lasts
You can drown in your emotions, or you can breathe &
find a way to swim through
The illusions can be so strong that you see things &
have thoughts that aren't true
Love is the glue for broken pieces & lost souls that go
off track
Once you've grown & are whole the old and new you
won't match
It's ok to fall sometimes as long as you pick yourself
back up
No hole is ever too deep to dig out of so get yourself
unstuck
We possess gifts in abundance & we should seek to
share them out
Just find the treasures hidden within so that you
rarely go without
Life can be complex & full of confusion but most illusions
aren't real
In order to touch the divine that sits within you must
embrace self so you can feel
Life is full of choices we must make but be discerning
when using will
If you run head first into hard facts, you can make any
mountain a mole hill

her lips lie metaphorical realism

she could not handle the truth
easier to live a lie
just the truth the whole truth nothing but the truth
does it still exist

when none believe reality its still truth
if all believe lies they are still falsehoods
authenticity captures facts that exist
cold hard facts metaphorically speaking

how do I substantiate its actual
is there a magic formular to follow
do I trust my instinct can it be misled
if its verisimilitude can I trust

being lifelike cannot be the whole answer
fakes can seem more actual than authentic
verifying requires a masters degree
some anomalies are true world or true life

says true fruit would they put fake fruit in the can
corporeality surely must exist
a physical body a truthful being
must be believed actual

Sadly Truth and Reality Bites

If you or 1 wish to
live based on reality

Live in the real world you
awaken to every single morning

You then also sadly have to accept
these cold hard facts of life as well

As these few simple fundamental rule's
will see you right and do you no harm
in the long run

People ---- Cheat

In matter's of

Love & Sex
Peace & War
Sport & Art
Politics & Debating
Crime & Punishment
Weight & Age
News & Media
Religion & God

Life in general
&
Lest us not forget
The greatest cheat of all

Money , Money , Money

M-O-N-E-Y

And you can take that to the Bank

It's the cheater's No 1 choice

Not some of the time

But all of the time

Accepted as currency in every country
in the world

More so even than the almighty Do$$ar

So I suppose in summation maybe
what I am tring to say is this

Ignorance is Bliss

Hard Facts

Hard facts
(Poetic Form :: Nibor)

His last word
to break year long
relation;

Broke her heart
she tries not to
remember;

Memories
don't obey her
mind's command.

Avoids places where
they sat hours together
to share their future
still he comes to her mind.

His number many
times she blocked but again
unblocked, hopes he might
call suddenly to speak.

As they suggested
spending more time doing
own work by herself
painting what she loves most.

Try to stay
busy to stop
thinking him.

They said, it'd
help to control
her feelings.

But, all acts
go in vain, his
thoughts come back;

She doesn't know, what to do, these are cold truths and hard facts.

Animosity

Confident stride in a broken face.
Can you guess who lost the race?

Straightest line along a path.
Can the stray cat do the math?

Every time in every way,
Our hero fails to save the day,

And has to try to sleep at night
Knowing he went down without a fight.

Whenever does a poodle cry?
When it finds its life's a lie,

And the only one who believed,
Found the lie, and pulled out her teeth

What's a fake smile without a promise?
The only lie that's truely honest.

All you have to do is look and assess.
Then the hard facts sting a lot less.

Tell me all the things you hate.
Don't expect love. It's far too late.

I wear my heart on my sleeve.
Stab me in the back. I will not bleed.

What will you do when the paths bend
And my loud beginning is your lowly end?

Of course you will hate
This reversal of fate
Spiteful, jealous Mr. Nemo
And his dear old friend.

Firmly

Highlit noon terrain, sun blatant
       Bathes their shadowless landscape
          Endless brilliant sheds radiation
       Blinking weary bulbs weakly imitate

Heat hits love with all truth stark
Boxed tight hard facts reject cryptic
         Oneness discovery, - two embark
       Both nurture melded mode intrinsic

          Having strikes delicate balance
Gravity secures, too soft to squash
          Assurance a transparent palace
       Governs linking, symbiotic emboss

          Horizon elevates whitest sphere
       Grants tomorrow's moon take flight
          Immaculate tuning discards fear
Goads a farthest keen midday sight

Journalistic Integrity Fake News Slam

Call yourself a journalist ?

I very much doubt you could even spell the word correctly

The devil's in the tabloid detail

Gossip and fake news

And how many time's a lie is read

So i remind you of the cold hard facts

You couldn't write a truthful story

If it stabbed you in the back

Your reputation proceeds you and is both earned and well deserved

As you are the answer to the question ?

What is the difference between a reporter
and a hack ?

P.M is not a pseudonym

The World Will Simply Shrug

The universe will simply shrug

Bullets fly, wars be waged
People die, ‘pon worlds stage

Hopes and ambitions
Faith and traditions

Cold hard facts
And simple superstitions

All no more than
Wishful visions

All the world’s fine institutions
Despite man’s resolutions

In the end will be
Doomed to fade away

And the universe… will simply shrug
And go on about It’s way

Once

bottles broken in my shop
no drinks for sale
nonsense search for happiness
in front of us hard facts
life with in all nakedness
nothing is promised to anyone
shakes hands from behind
once they do not seperate over

Dry Tears

I see it in the children's eyes,
The pain from all the lies,
Young people fighting for their dignity,
A normal life as it should be.

They didn't choose life or asked to be born,
Into lives wrecked, lonely and torn,
Forced to mature before they knew,
The hard facts of life are hard to do.

In frustration they turn to crime,
Or give their bodies away time after time,
Some last out in anger, some in hate,
They fall to temptation as they wait,
For happy lives that may never be,
To have meaningful lives,
Maybe like you, maybe like me.
