Hard facts

His last word
to break year long
relation;
Broke her heart
she tries not to
remember;
Memories
don't obey her
mind's command.
Avoids places where
they sat hours together
to share their future
still he comes to her mind.
His number many
times she blocked but again
unblocked, hopes he might
call suddenly to speak.
As they suggested
spending more time doing
own work by herself
painting what she loves most.
Try to stay
busy to stop
thinking him.
They said, it'd
help to control
her feelings.
But, all acts
go in vain, his
thoughts come back;
She doesn't know, what to do, these are cold truths and hard facts.
