Greedy Poems

The Greedy

We have built a world—
Not for the need,
But for the greedy.

Palaces boast of fifty rooms
Where no soul sleeps.
Garages gleam with a thousand idle chariots,
While the homeless pray to wind and pavement.

One man holds
A thousand acres of land,
While millions kneel
With no soil to claim as home.

Step into the White Halls of Power—
Leaders dine in gold,
While the

A Wish

No heirs will sniff my dying bed,
No priest will spoon me from his book.
I spit the staged lament away,
The velvet hush, their hoping face.

Wheel me to the window’s edge—
Let dawn’s knife enter through my chest.
The world will turn without my name;
I will dissolve into its dust enraged.

People Like

It is the way of the people,
people like you, people like me.
It is the way of the people,
to want whatever they see.
It is the way of the people,
people like you, people like me.
It is the way of the people,
to take whatever they please.
It is the way of the people,
people like you, people like me.
It is

Stupid And Greedy Fools

The world will not be destroyed
By nuclear, viruses and diseases
But by greedy fools and lunatic leaders
Greed and stupidity combined a dangerous threat
Create conflicts, wars and destructions
Social inequality and environmental problems
As long as greed and stupidity exist
The world remains fragile and vulnerable
To the dangerous stupid and greedy fools
The mind should evolve to culture and spirituality
Is

FAMILY II

Some family members
Is a real piece of work
They don't do anything
Nor give a helping hand
To help with their elderly
Or disabled parents or
Relatives, they live there
Happy life without a care
In the world, while some
other relative sacrifice their
Time to help out but the second
One of them dies, the
Do nothings comes around
Expecting something, like
Money,

Can people be this greedy?

You hold a noble heart,
all-knowing, ever-dynamic,
a wit laced with sarcasm, yet playfully light.
Your form—sculpted, divine,
laughter, a melody spun from heaven.
A garden blooms in your presence,
ever radiant, ever alive.
And for all of this, I am guilty.
Of greed, of longing—
I want you.

Our Tormenting Love

Shut up darling, I am about to scream
No, it’s not your fault that you are mean
I’ll pick up this mess I made with my heart
I might be missing some parts
Thousands of pieces shattered after you dropped it
That act was quite reckless
I’m still trying to figure out why you did
But I’ve been told that curiosity is

ANC Greedy Leaders- South Africa

In a land where shadows linger long,
A tale unfolds of a people's song.
Apartheid's chains, a cruel embrace,
Enslaved hearts in a divided space.
Kindred souls, with no love for gold,
Living lives where stories are told.
No ego's sway, no material desire,
Yet, history unfolds, a somber fire.
Through years of colonization's hand,
A web woven tight across the land.
Black against black,

Yes, While Evil Spreads Its Long Greedy Hands

In this world wherein poets dare to live
A crazy place where evil flourishes
O' but tis it not true rich barely give
Honey and manna that so nourishes
Yet the greedy ones take all they can get
They screaming loud, "we must have more and more"
We are busy stealing our biggest score

There's someone who was once close to me,
I told them to kick rocks and leave me be.

They think that I am unawares,
that I don't know who is there.

Watching every move I make,
breathing with every breath I take.

The apples from the tree they do tell,
as they rot where they fell.

The bees all buzzing around the sweetness,
the

The Journey of a Greedy Man

It's a pity to know
That you give away the city;
not out of courtesy for the need
but for the currency out of greed.

One day you will repent
running behind money;
cutting your ties with a knife
drifting away from your honey
being alone in life.

You will cry in dry
No one won't even wave you a bye
or offer you a fish

Peon Demons

Never unconditionally leaned on these peon demons made me want to be gone/

if there ever was a reason for me turning my back leaving this so called family adhesion /

now ‘tis perfection season you can find me in a different region with a more magnificent legion/

It won't be a lasting abrasion

Greedy People

what do you need?
nice to meet you
my name is greed
years ago i had few friends
now it seems i have many
i rule the world in many ways
i am with most people all their days
i make them inhuman to say the least
helping them to sell their soul
for a few more dollars, they dig their hole

A Greedy Fellow

Cowardly this loathsome fellow
In old west they’d call him yellow
I guess that was his biggest flaw
Jealous greater than Othello

He wanted more, the more he saw
Hauling around his gaping jaw
What’s to come of this man of greed
Lied until his scruples were raw

He stole from innocents in need
It would run green if he did bleed
So a deal
