Some eat Gourmet meals
while many exist from crumbs
that fall from tables.

Gourmet Grasshopper
After the spider made lunch of the fly
A curious grasshopper leapt on by
He told the fly with gusto
I really now must go
to dine on my worm and centipede pie!
The bulbs sprouted
beneath the bright blue
umbrella sky. Line by
line they grew and grew
The lines bloomed into
a sweet fragrant place.
The groom shall
keep his name
and a world shall stand to
greet him
his future bride
will walk the aisle
then to meet him
there they'll stand
in the blooming
field to vow and kiss
and greet
they'll take thanks
and we'll all go there
to dine and dance
they'll leave for there
honeymoon
when the opportunity
creates a chance.
They hid behind the large fiberglass moulds stored in the
shed. she said they kissed there for hours.
They decided to marry that very day.
So eccentric tastes:
Pierogis with some cole slaw;
Fruit in ice cream bowl;
Pepperoni with yogurt.
Gourmet with variety.
The aardvark is a quirky beast,
Uniquely dentalated,
And to the armadillo gastronomically related.
He dines on termites, ants, and such,
Most any bug his tongue can touch,
On fruits and veggies, not so much,
Unless he's running low on Vitamin C…
Or needs to be re-regulated.

We oft look at some thinking they’re rich,
others look at us, maybe believing the same.
We view ourselves as having found our niche,
but sometimes we still play the “what if” game.
A person has no control over his/her life start,
but that doesn’t predetermine where they’ll stay.
Don’t settle in life for an appetiser bit part,
strive to be the dish that’s considered gourmet.
Ask him and he will tell you
that snake and frog taste just like chicken.
On the whole if grilled, crickets, locusts, grubs
and earth worms all taste petty much
like chicken.
Coyote, water rats and porcupine
when sautéed with arrow leaf and fennel
almost duplicate the texture and flavor
of fried chicken.
Sea slugs stuffed with gecko eggs
make an elegantly complex concoction
so redolent of chicken,
but then ask him and he will also tell you
that he does not care much -
for chicken.
once a young man from brooklyn
wanted to try home cookn
for his oven it died
from some rice that he fried
now he's takeout a'look'n.
Bon appetite!
Cheers to you,
Cheers to me!
These taters
So buttery.
Mmmhm,
Indeed.
Hot to the touch
But this rib rack
So tender,
So I'll cut them some slack.
Noodles kept fluffy and warm
Peas from the can shorn
Water drained from tuna's can
Now, bachelor man
Add all the mayo
You can stand
Feast!
lord of the outdoors
ruler of the castle
king of the barbecue
wielding fork and spatula
like a maestro
snow rain or shine
surf and turf
burgers or hotdogs
rotisserie chicken
exotic kebobs
grilled colorful veggies
nontraditional desserts
take a bow
you’re a pro

I want you to myself like we're the only two people on earth
Like you're an acquired taste that only I can take
My perfect addiction with no additions made…
p.s. you’re so cute can I just eat you up…

his fast food a smash.

THE GALLOPING GOURMET TREATS
Just finished watching the galloping gourmet
Cooking and frying up fried brains today
All his delicious meals and delectable treats
He may even be pounding and making mince meats
Always like listening to his many happy tunes
While he sings and belts out some merry half moons
He skillfully dices all the mincing of all the ducks
As he precisely illustrated all the glazing of bucks
Now he’s starting to ice all up those delicious cakes
My mouth is watering for all the sweets of ice cream bakes.
Now I’m wishing for a slice of that sweet-hummingbird cakes.

I ate
The bones of dogs
I ate the past before it ate me
I ate my heart
So I am with out love
I seek my next meal
Blood pie and veal
I ate the lips of a lover
I sealed the kiss with the wish of another
I am still starving, deep within
Where is this kiss
Too feed me again?
I ate the dreams of my childhood
I turned time upside-down
Yet it’s me who is lost
I am rotten from the stomach
For eating the impure
I ravish the thoughts of your loins
OH yes I eat like a king
The sweet smell of sauce makes me begin
This voyage into a lover’s sin
I am the creation of my own demise
I ate my own legs, so now I no longer run
A lover with no legs, she considers no fun
So she ate me whole, rather than catch
A romantic meal
Candles in flame
Death my only fame
