Do not go down there,

If you go down to the park today,
You will not find an educated tramp in your way,
Wanting to pass the time of day.
Park benches free of sleeping tramps all day,
No newspapers with yesterday's news today,
To keep the cold at bay,
No police needed now to send them on their way,
Few trash collectors passing your way,
With no newspaper sheets to change or toss away.
Tis a sad day for all that pass this way,
When the news of the day,
Is not passed on to those who cannot pay.
Tis a sad day for all who spend their day,
On computers that never see the light of day,
With owners who never pass this way,
To share the news of the day,
With those who can't pay,
Yet are happy to text their day away,
Never to be seen near a park bench on this or any other day.
I am slowly finding recovery is a penrose staircase
I climb, I step, and I see you on my walk to the coffee shop
you wore jeans and a black T-shirt you looked at me like your
very existence should be an apology and suddenly
I am at the bottom of the staircase
Climbing, stepping, climbing, stepping…
The most random thoughts can pop in your head -
like, after it’s down, does the sun go to bed?
This must be a problem when birthing new stars.
Can’t sing ‘em to sleep; they ignite the guitars.
Their mom must be frazzled, not getting much sleep,
so I thought for a moment, and I thought pretty deep.
I’ve got a new venture that seems pretty sweet;
to get suns to bed, you need fireproof sheets.

It's dirty water

hiding the glow of a white hot glance ;

As the sun sets in the sky
No longer a need to feel shy;

Suffer me to fathom the sorrows
The unrighteousness of today's tomorrows
I shall not surcom to those pressures of life
I shall not give in to those valleys of demons strife
Render me on my pleas
I shall only go down
On my knees for my Father
And my Father's Name is Almighty

World of hate unacknowledged true love
The sinfulness of yours and mine
Redeemable but we're running out of time

V-ile weather will not come,
I-n early November
E-ighth.
J-ust don't let the sun go down
U-nderneath the blue sky;
A-nother day is shining,
R-ays are red up high.
I-n the sweet lovely morn, new dawn breaks with gleam;
O-nce it shows the beacon, it shares your sweet dream.
C-rimson sun won't go down
O-n your day of birth;
M-orning's smiling face
I-s bringing a million mirth.
S-unshine won't go down, as it rises toward the zenith;
