When the Lights Go Down

The perfect cover for romance
hiding the glow of a white hot glance ;
When the lights go down,
doesn’t matter who’s around;
The softer the sigh the slower the dance;

I am loving having this choice
free to succumb to your voice;
When the lights go down,
doesn’t matter who’s around;
Your trance cancels out all the noise;

The dark swallows every fear
I can run my hands through your hair;
When the lights go down,
doesn’t matter who’s around;
Just know I want you, I’m no longer scared.

As the sun sets in the sky
No longer a need to feel shy;
When the lights go down,
doesn’t matter who’s around;
Can you feel the pulling tide?
