Premium Member Final Vestiges of Antigua

Cooled off to take a sip; two.
Greedily waking up; fading
of the whole cup - butterflies,
trees, flowers; drips touching
the final vestiges of Antigua.

Fear ascended into the canopy,
slid along the line; work gloves,
gripping. Incomplete instructions,
lack of common sense, slowed
me down, with my feet off
the ground. Grounds remind me,
in this creamy, courage cup
to not give up, keep going with
support. I had to leap, to land
but otherwise I had support.

She, too, had courage, sans
my tears, my heart-pounding,
insane fear of flying; her words fly;
she’s shorter than I. She lands
on her feet. I’m behind. My friend -

a curious word; we shared a towel,
kissed dolphins; I hit her in the head
with a pingpong paddle (playing
doubles). Too close, these icons
of finance (we sailed upon a -ship
with). Friendship ebbs and flows.

You sea, you don’t need to pay.
Breach causes a realization. Suck-
cession of time and space, happy
place, but I soak in the memories
of once upon a time. Sipping,
sliding, incomplete instructions,
gliding, gladdened by adventure;
and even the brevity of affection.

Santa is already on his way

A pine tree has already moved in
The house is brightener up to corners
By his lights of sincere worshiping
And the feelings of everyone's dreams

The guy named Santa is surely on the road
As those being displayed in the window
The deers are walking slowly, but Merrily
As years molding to their sizes of gold

The sweetness of the day begins to flash
To flush out any looms in the tired hearts
As gleaming of hope and glowing of lucky
The sight of the flowers gladdened her art

Of which I would call it moments of ideal
Once you embrace the crystal eyed soul

Our Fathers song

26 April 2024 7:51 PM

It is in the music it is in the wind
A certain sound that resonates forever and again

A little melody sweet and serene
that lingers in the heart unseen

The ears can not hear it and the mind can not comprehend
The soul only knows where it goes and where its been

It is a vibration that the spirit feels
Only spirit knows that it is real

That little sound that brings unknown smiles
A gladdened heart and energy for miles

It lightens the step and clears the mind
It keeps your life marching in time

It is the tune the Holy Spirit sings
It's joy renewing like April's spring

Do not be so busy that you miss it's tune
Slow down and listen and let your heart swoon

Relax as it sings, you are safe and loved
YHWH sent him on the wings of a dove

To comfort and guide you and empower you to
As you live and you love and guten morgan and adieu

From day to day from year to year
He is always with you whether far or near

Fail not to listen and heed his chord
And your life will be worth the Son the Father did afford

Premium Member ZEPHYR

I am the breath of teardrops drying
A whisper coaxed awak’ning on rippled pond
Shadows creeping amid the grey stones
Concealing both prey and predator

A faint kiss to lift the butterflies aloft
Caress the wafting scent of budding roses
A shiver on the sweaty back of toil
A riffling of leaves still wet at dawn

A gladdened moment dancing with a feather
The dusty face of tumbleweeds at play
I am the humming voice of towering pines
That eerie whine amid the canyon stones

I am a sound e’er present in the silence
A gentle hint that life is everywhere

Premium Member Because Of You

You boast, saying:
All good happened
Happened
Because of you...
I test you, querying:
Have
All good happened
Gladdened you?

I Wish I'D Said That

I would love to compose a poem
one that abounds
with heart and warmth and rhythm
a poem that skips merrily along
gladdening hearts and enlightening minds
a poem that evokes a chuckle or two
that invites a pause for contemplation
that poses the question
”Have you read this?”
and elicits the command
“You really must”
should this poem
flit and flutter
with a butterflies gossamer touch
lightly, playfully
or should it dig deep
be revealing and insightful
should it pose questions
or should it reveal answers
it should I suspect
do all of that
but
I think what it must do
is touch the reader
in such a way
that they sit back
somewhat pensive
somehow gladdened
and think to themselves
“I wish I’d said that”

"Xmas comes and goes, but if we imbibe its true spirit, hope, joy and peace, like doves, will come to nest in our hearts forever" ~ By Poet

Xmas gives hope to a world so glum.
It is greeted alike in city and slum.
When the King of kings is born on Earth,
The world rejoices with songs of mirth.

Jesus took birth not in the palace of gold,
But in a deserted manger of old
Swaddled in rags devoid of all grandeur,
He wished to be one with the poorest of the poor

The world is under his magic sway,
As love for all is his wondrous way,
Everyone hails the season of joy.
Sing n’ dance and thoroughly enjoy.

‘Jingle bells’ will echo from every street
Young and old, will sing carols sweet
Xmas is the most celebrated festivals of all times
When the world is gladdened by the celestial chimes;

“Glory to God and peace on Earth”!

Mini-Skirt To Mirror Gown

Clearly blind is the mini-skirt
Of faint or no trace to drawer
unveiling blunt's veil's view afar
To wandering eyes' wishes bail
If it could be to its presence

Clearly blind is the mini-skirt
That the shinning sun ray dare not
Unveil its secret to eyes choice
Tracing out on mind worksheet's theme
What it expresses to spark minds

Mirror gown is barely naked
Renting many to daydreaming
Drawing patterns of various styles
To seize door openly secured
And return to its pursuit's acts

Mirror gown is barely naked
Inspiring drives to chase and wait
For turn up with gladdened whisper
Of yes having seen evidence
Of its desired wish over love

Mini-skirt or Mirror gown's voice,
Which one is better off cum choice?

Premium Member What Is Broken, Still Has Beauty

What is broken,
Still shines great beauty...
Whoever or whatever that reaches the inside of me,
Is a treasure worthy enough for me to forever hold...

When night comes,
My feelings and thoughts truly unfold...
During the darkest of my hours,
I unleash my expressive powers...

While the dawn hast come,
My energized mind numbs
For only a moment,
I will wait...

The sun rises
As the deepest gates of my imagination
Flood open and bring on the waves of emotion.
Winds of hope blow away my tears...

And the inner sea, in me,
Begins to shine colours,
From the bluest of all these days,
To the grayest of my depressed ways...

These gray waters...
Change into a glow of hopeful silver...
And at long last, I let go of the past,
As this sea is painted gold by the eternal sun...

I am saddened and gladdened, here and there...
Yet, whatever is broken...
Still shines great beauty...

Premium Member Christ Paid It All

It’s sweet, so sweet, our God’s embrace.
The gladdened news - Christ’s costly grace.
The saddened haze, when all seemed lost,
when leaves fell off the tree, when frost
would splinter hands and feet, deface.

Of atmosphere - our outer space,
the depths he held - our inner place.
Christ paid it all - to sin’s exhaust.
It’s sweet, so sweet.

He wore our leaves, the fig’s disgrace.
He shared our loss of par’dise-ace.
The death of Christ, was worth the cost;
He rose - the barrier was crossed.
The salvation of human race -
it’s sweet, so sweet!

Premium Member Consider the Lilies

A wise man once said, “Consider the lilies,”
Exquisite white blooms beckoning spring
In splendor atop their long green stalks,
The lilies make our gladdened hearts sing.

Since God takes care of the lilies, he said,
Doesn’t it make sense for us in Him to trust
For God loves us much more than the flowers
Cultivating our faith in God, we simply must!

Just Three Days

I went away for just three days
Though three days were too many
It feels like something missing
From my heart
and
From my soul
My spirit oh so empty
I’m no longer feeling whole

Each day I walk beside her
And each day she permeates my soul
Such peace and calm serenity
Transfusing her tranquillity
Oh how I miss her so

She’s calm just like a mill pond
Or with waves that crash ashore
Each day unlike another
For not one day be the same
A newly painted water colour
With sky so blue her frame
For me to hang upon my heart
Her gift for to admire
Taking with her all my stress
My spirit riseth higher
I feel gladdened and content
As my soul begins to dance
In her flowing chiffon dress
I swirl and twirl
like a young girl
To the music of the sea
I am at one
I am at peace
Heart and soul in harmony
for ‘tis me and the deep blue sea

Darling, Never Be Satisfied With a Single Kiss

Hands around your waist, passionate lips
willing to explore each and all urges
that arouse feelings of pure sensibility,
always consider passioning an act of intimacy...
something that God blesses and considers holy;
darling, never be satisfied with a single kiss!

Night has come darkening the willows,
shadows should cause fret and doubts;
will moonlight appear and steal our kisses?
The crickets' sound break the profound monotony,
we listen to them gladdened by their company;
darling, never be satisfied with a single kiss!

Everybody is envious of our togetherness,
they can't stop our closeness with unkind words;
hearts devoted to each other are hard to separate,
they have sworn faithfulness and will remain true to themselves,
and not lose what's theirs avoiding to make an unforgivable mistake;
darling, never be satisfied with a single kiss!

Waiting for dawn may seem an eternity
for the lonely one who can't fall asleep and dream,
we'll spend our night making it magical and warm;
moonlight and stars above us are not fantasy,
will time pass quickly and not grant our wishes?
Darling, never be satisfied with a single kiss!
