Gallow Poems

Premium MemberKnuckles

Raw,
a nubby grey knuckle-boned day,
when the wind blows through my skin
pulling at the cord
which holds my insides in,
oh infernal internal wall
keeping without without
and within within,
off key Wednesday
crashing chords that I have swallowed
not a passing thought for the blue tunes of tomorrow,
or the music I have made thus far in life
and the ones that I have begged or borrowed
as always I’ll wait for it to pass
fill the gallow glass
to fetch me a drink while I think
but no-one is near
my fault, not because I fear them
I hear them in the hall
scratching
but I don’t let them in
it would give them a chance to win
I need them on my page
to take away the blank
fill it with ink
because being empty stinks
I don’t want the void
empty yarn from a ragged yawning hole
so I’ll sleep,
hope to feel when I wake
no idea how much more time it is going to take
will it break me or make me
perhaps I will try the fake me
the one with the smile
the one I revile
but there it is
sat on my face
smug and satisfied,
all while I’m melting away
a Dali soft watch
on this raw knuckled day

oblong songs

burried and cured in sod's wallowing gallow
ground as tender flower of wonder
reading worlds into the hands
mired in swallows and clawed
she began trunks of brooches
for her second son
to flee the falling failing rakes
bested in deserts earthen ovens
rebuilding the gingers shant, easily
carnate fury, easters menage
blurry tests to bleak to smear
exposed to a heartless ember of septs
reticent snakes frail and drunk
back to the chest my second sons hum.......

Umbra's heart

Is it a crime if I want to kiss you
Is it a crime if I miss you
Is it a crime if all I do is think about you
Is it a crime if I want to hug you
Is it a crime if I feel for you
Is it a crime that all my writing is around you
Is it a crime if I want to feel your hands on mine
And if not then why is your judgment silence
And punishment absence
And if it is a crime then take me to a gallow
For I can't have your hand then you shall my head
For this Mind is my ally when thinking about you
But a foe when running away from you

Disciple Shadow

Though live ,no one cares to see.
For I am the shadow to be .
  Always around .
Never in sky, just on ground .
    A light shade .
Ready to vanish but never fade.
The best to be is black .
Live in light ,die in dark .
The ultimate disciple to follow .
         Every where and gallow .
For I am nothing with out you .
Just black ,never red nor blue.

Did I tell you about this young fellow
His manner was warm and mellow.
He went out one night
Had a drink and a fight,
Now their whisking him off to the gallow.

His friends went off to the court house,
Trying to plead for his case.
They said he only had one pint mi lord,
The next minute,he was off of his face.

The judge said that we can't tolerate,
Getting drunk, and fighting in the street.
Sorry mi lord, it wasn't a fight,
I tripped over my two left feet.

Premium MemberThe Dreamin' Tree

The Ash has died, bare-branched
Throughout this summer.
Odin's gallows, Dreamin' Tree,
Died back like every other.

Though autumn leaves begin their fall
Bare Ash stands like a Christmas tree
Embraced, entwined, adorned
With greening from another.

Wisteria's bine has jumped the gap
Between the gardens at the back
To cover Ash tree to its top
To all the world alive, but not.

Half way up this dreamin' tree
A pigeon mounts his mate
A fourth or fifth time in this day
Though autumn's love is late

And well before the Spring.
Corvid's watching blue-winged Jay
Sits low upon his gallow branch,
Planning how to rob their nest

To scalp its precious fledgling squabs
Before they're raised as offspring.
These clatter doves with life long
Mates make glimpse of love's display

But all of God's creation groans
Awaiting when that final day
Finds freedom from frustration
With birth pangs of a better way

And longed for last redemption.

A Messenger From the Sky

I was sent to depict the mist, that wears this present days
I should have foresaw the doom, and should have my wings kept
a messenger needs a beam my bullseye's needs a lit
Please let love lead

My bullseye flashes gloom
Cos' the night shade rains on me
I should have my eyesight boom
The moon to savour me beam
Please let love lead

I should have caressed the stars
To show me my tomorrow
then when my message is passed
I would no longer wonder in this narrow
Please let love lead

In this shadow
I breath so narrow
My wings like dazzle wallow
I can only feel am in a gallow
a messenger need no dim
Please let love lead

So why don't I leave this sallow
I soar high in the middle of no where
It all feels here like deep burrow
My back hind feathers soon wears
Please let love lead

am Middling middle no where
my message caught up with me the air
My bulls-eyes needs a beam
if the message is to be filmed
A messenger needs a beam
Please let love lead
Love is colour red
Blood is colour red
Though skins has many colours

Far away in the distance I see a light and suddenly
I want to follow
those inkling stars of beauty, in the gallow of my wishes
I hear a little voice inside that says,
Take me, take me, to unknown lands of mystery
fly me, fly me, o'er peaceful skies of every hue
Far away in the distance I see a light and suddenly
I'm missing you  anew ;
Little rivulets accompany the quiet steps of sea
in pensive thought I tread, reflecting love anew
Why else would cormorants fly
if not for nigh and nigh
Far away in the distance I see you like before
a fading smile across your lips and suddenly,
you dissapear, behind the liquid stars,
away from me, away from me....

Love

My love is a practicing ascetic
So humble beyond imagination
Many view his beliefs as pathetic
He, as a duty, determination

A man filled with incredible knowledge
His selfless offerings far from shallow
Studied at a prestigious college
For his beliefs, he faces the gallow

People often ridicule, nonchalant
Some furtive in manner, some quite vicious
Ne'er comprehending nature so gallant
Alas, self-serving their own ambitious

So why do I feel my own hearts desire
Is being led directly to the fire

Government Gimps

Delusions of grandeur of being superior, definitive lines drawn and hacked up on a mirror. The Earth trembles and all the ghosts have left.

Gov't Gimps,
Unnerving social locusts.

Human livestock and their fodder. No artistic merit, can't hold their weight in dirty water.
Gripping onto a fleeting idea with fear of the flame going out. Inner child snuffed with a plastic bag. We will wear these costumes like Halloween until the day that we die.
Gov't Gimps. Media ****, rape our attention spans, glue the 3rd eye shut. Netflicks goons. Simeon sex for brains. Woke up this morning with a bullet on my mind.

Hell is in the body and Heaven's broken glass smile lacerates my ribs. Your Smart phone knows just how you like it.

Daunting.

Of human design.

Birds of a feather talk about the weather. Gallow fruit, sticky fingers, and preachers draped in leather.

Don't you pray for me. Not with that filthy mouth of yorn. The evil that manifests your bones is so easy to justify. Don't pray for me, not with that filthy mouth of yorn. When I die, leave me where I lie, that radiation that corrupts my bones is so easy to justify.

The Noose

It's the noose that is waiting for me.
Now the law is for all to abide.
I will hang from the old gallow tree.

It is murder they say, first degree.
So the judge summing up, will decide,
It's the noose that is waiting for me

Having death on my hands, let it be.
With a plea for some mercy denied,
I will hang from the old gallow tree.

A large crowd they had gathered to see
An old preacher, to pray by my side.
It's the noose that is waiting for me,

To hang by the neck, for my fee.
It's the convict i now stand beside,
I will hang from the old gallow tree.

By my hands, he will die, or go free.
Then the condemned, now blindly he cried,
It's the noose that is waiting for me,
I will hang from the old gallow tree

Death: Iii

Soul o' thy chirpin' melodies,
Ink o' thy timid symphonies,
Collects me, t'se calmeth tranquilities,
Requiem t'en pierceth my heart,
Blameth me, she, consumed h've I,
The light, b'low the gallow t'at lie,
Blameth me, she, stolen h've I,
The sound, droppeth o'er her lip,
Enigmatic melancholy, me,
Serenely, thou, me h've dippeth,
Solemn agony, fragnance o' thee,
Silent solace, dream o' me,
L'ft shadows o' my licketh be,
Eternal soul, weepeth un'r thy tree,
Why? Trappeth my soul thou,
Why? Not it flow an' fly free,
Bitter wine t'en, show color o' thee.

The Convict Part 1

Life behind these bars
My recidivistic chained lounge;
I bonded with loneliness
At will - My frail wrist
Scarred by the bangle of guilt -
Chaste from birth but now guilty

"Death by the rope" - is
My price for dis-innocence
I embraced it well like wraith
Of though fear might flee
Justice will kill me tonight
And I'll whiff peace through my death

Bang!!! Off goes the bong
The call for my end i think;
Broody pangs aches me aloud
As the crowd barracks
Sully smile stained their faces
Spits, Sticks, sands and stones were thrown

Inside the foyer -
My doers came with blindfolds -
Glow of darkness beholds me,
Farewell my best friends;
Crickets, flies and mosquitos
I'd hear chirps and buzz no more

I'd be dead real soon
But no one knows my reason
For crime - no one ever cares!
Now, freedom will walk
To criminals' tomb for peace
Just for my son's sake

Defending my blood
Was all i did - Just a blow
On the chest and death took him..
For this single sake
I'll die so that i can live
The gallow awaits my scrag

We Are a Family of One

I don't need to judge I hear there is a higher thrown for that.
I don't feed the sludge because I'm better than to brat about what's not me.
I don't fleet to the flood of the mud because the water I wait to meet
To greet it with such appreciation for all that is and for all of what I can be.
makes me feel free from the debree to degrade of what's made of other things.

I don't fret on the color of another because they could be my sister or brother
We all bleed the same shade We all breed to the same grade
all on the same grind to find a greater gallow than to stay blind
and that you will, if you just dont live and let live.
We all have standards but can you can't expect love if it's not what you give

Respectfully,
R.R.

Hey, Heaven Is a Place On Earth: Happy New Year

Bringing yes a close, another year gone by; thinking unto myself
How she wanted me to sing her a love song ? As I was standing atop
This gallow better known as planet earth or more precisely, the noose about
Our necks well, unless your a rock star who plays a mean guitar better yet, swirls
That tiny little derriere, high high, in the air, mumbo jumbo it's a hit; super nova heights ? His, icons
Sucking on the mic fifty years now gone by; golden chains the children sway, hey man he's a baritone
Sequine girls her mirror's pearl; hey mom I'm gonna be someone, I wrote a song about a big black dong
Painted eyes with their candles high, curly who and her brother goo ? So you see, its not just Meeeee....
While the babies cry and the babies die and they suck your mic and you put their ass in some leopard tights.
