Every detour is a reminder

I am blessed to have many skills but navigation isn't one of them! But, I do learn a bit more every time I get lost somewhere.

Navigation is important. If we don't know where we are, we can't find our way back to safety or know if the new horizon is the correct path for our souls.

Good luck to us all as we navigate our lives.

Every detour is a reminder

I've travelled so many winding roads
Some have been lanes; some have been highways
But every single one has taught me something
About how important it is to navigate our landscape

Nothing is wasted effort
Even if we as humans think it so
Every detour is a reminder
To stay calm and focussed under pressure

As we navigate our lives
It's important to be clear on where we are
Where we want to be
And if we should be following a specific arc

There's safety in places that we know
And the horizon is often daunting
But if we're clear on our soul's purpose
Our journey will not be faulted

So, focus on your soul's calling
Focus on your intuition and guidance
And as you stumble and glide and shimmy
May you remain forever excited

Because of Myself

Because of myself, I am not myself.

I have broken down, limb by limb every branch in my tree.

They plead against me now.

Why isn't he being himself?

What love has one had, in which hasn't been given?

Did I run to far from the church bells?

I stand in front of the mirror, demanding love for myself.

Have my loved ones faulted me?

Did I not grow to be a knight?

Was my sword too dull for the wicked?

My strength has drawn to a slumber.

I could drink myself into a stooper… what good would that leave me?

Have I left myself ?

Where did I go?

I should have reminded myself that I was needed.
I guess I'll find myself one day.
I hope it's before old age finds me.

Aberration In Blue

Aberration in Blue
Floyd with a cleaner heart
Whiter than the man in blue.
Though so white, yet inhuman
Painted with an outside view.
He was not faulted wrong
Yet, died for his pure innocence
Floyd and the white guy
Both died with a difference.
Floyd’s plea was heard not loud
The white guy was so deaf
Floyd cried out to his mum
His family left bereft.
The white guy had no human heart
Made of stone or clay
Abused his uniform of blue,
Credentials lost that day.

Ottava Rima Lost To Love

Tasting loss of leaves before the Dagar winds
Its tracks of his mean cuts through her heart and trees

could somehow bar twice his ice before it rends
and strips her bare till she falls unto her knees

She would find the strength that willingly defends
his faulted love that comes and goes but never frees

If not his deepest empathy, Mine and thine
to mend her broken branches, we must entwine!

Premium MemberTribute To Women

Mother Nature, Athena and Mother Earth
Apply wisdom and beauty to life
they're icons whose bounty has infinite worth
offering sustenance throughout strife

Mother Mary grants us mercy and love
Our flag; long may she wave
Venus, the love god, shines above
Amazon women; so strong and brave

Accolades for such women never cease
Their value cannot be denied
Noble women of love, courage and peace
who we admire and in whom we confide

But women who aren't symbols, myths or gods
are never so grandly exalted
they may have value no one ever lauds
But for our original sin are faulted

This tribute is to women, here on earth
Thank you for your guidance and love
And for providing the gift of birth

we bow down to hearts exalted
helping souls to be uplifted
that we may rise, become as He
there are no others; all is we
all are one; none may be faulted

Cautious adjudication, the gravitas of soft-spoken word.
Your legendary legacy, illustrious and exalted.
Advocate for gender justice, legal insights not always heard.
Yet, your jurisprudence was seldom persuasively faulted.

Few men invite state regulation of their sex organs.
Yet, many insist the state can control a woman’s body.
You, the bulwark against unconstitutional legal actions,
against state laws of men, pious and haughty.

Now you have departed, and we gaze upon the cavity.
Now we dread what might be used to fill the void.
The precedents of your life, our guidance against depravity.
Your advocacy for equality must be our natural law employed.

Malakh Penuel

they sat and watched them
thousands upon thousands
sum spoke that it was a thousand
60 times over.
one man would take a position
to have the other become opposistion to him
they would wrest until
the other wqs in the position of
peniel.
that he would submitt
and he who saw fit to understand
would say that one of opposition
has fallin and his new position causes him
to fault. then that he has faulted, a question from a manuaver of submission
ask him if he wish to continue in bout.
or he has been subdueded to have his shoulders held for conseutive amount of time as three seconds is represented by
an offecail slap of the canvas three times.
Peniel, Peniel, Peniel they chanted from the fan area, might
these chants inspire those they wish to win.
or might they anger those they wish to lose.
or might they support the effords of those who are in opposition of them.
those that give way to the wants of something collabrated and made to be.

Brimstone

Pain and fire; you understand?
No! I do not understand myself!
And what have I done?
O God - what have I -
I don't want the answer but I cannot run
What's broken then? Can circumstance really be faulted?
Or has the apple rotted right down to the core?
Nothing left but to perish in its own toxic flesh.

Yet ... if once pure then corrupt, could it not then be true?
That I could be refashioned for good all anew?

Pulled by the weight of their emanation
Dragged and dusted, faulted and busted by determination!

4-3-19

The clock face is broken and time continues,
No chef in the kitchen and food on the menus,
The sun is not shining and color bleeds forth,
I stumble and faulted and retain my worth.
Live life with love till death from birth.

Human

Who are you, I am man
Created in my ' Father's ' image
In his eyes, I am beautiful
I am one of a kind
There is no other like me
Search and you will not find
I tell you, I am one of a kind
I am not going out of my mind
Neither am I senile or blind
I was designed to mastermind mankind
To stay focus and not fall behind
But I faulted and unwind
Lost my way and refused to obey
Assigned to a life of crime
Tormented by my own state of mind
Human
Who are you,
I am man
Intelligent, special and rare
There is no other like me
Search and you will not find
My whole existence is to show mankind
That ' YAH' is holy, faithful and awesome
In him one can change and blossom.

Turing Tested

He proved, with a skill irrefutable,
Some functions to be uncomputable.
   His run sadly halted
   When magistrates faulted
His code-breaking love as unsuitable.

---

(Alan Turing was a brilliant pioneer in the development of computer science. Among other achievements, he is remembered for proving that it is not possible to compute a general solution to the problem of whether or not a given program will ever halt, and for his so-called "Turing test" approach to the question of what artificial intelligence would mean, and for the pivotal role he played in breaking Nazi codes in WWII. His tragic early death is thought to have been a suicide, perhaps motivated at least in part by the horrifying legal prosecution he endured for his homosexuality.)

The Death of Desire

Can you fault him for his lapse?
Can you chastise for her loss?
It is theirs to wish if they wish it,
it is theirs to handle as dross.

So strange that in small part we prize,
constraining the needs of our burning eyes:
or else we are faulted for desire -
gluttony, lust, avarice, fire!

But can't we journey to their root,
and tearing out that filthy plant,
find that need for all is gone,
and lose the will e'en to recant?

So what is better? Keep the need in check for time,
or surrender need itself ... which leads to the sublime?

Premium MemberDisaster

Faulted earth quakes, level land breaks
Serene sea swells, tearing tsunami strikes
Devastation a devil descends unpredicted to devour.

Tough times tremble, shaking sky raids
Hibernating hopes break, awful agony abrades
Disaster a distress destroys unabated the lives dire.
