The majority of people deny God
live a life godless, selfish and no hope
putting death behind them unthinkable
just expecting to live on no matter its slope
God has warned in His holy word
all have sinned fell absolutely short
of God's glory for there's an account
that one day truly will come into port
At that final day of accounting
God will send all who reject His love
to darkness and indescribable pain
that will never end nor be enough
Everlastingly lost and forgotten
total darkness not knowing where to turn
remembering so often rejected the gospel
now deeply regretting how they did spurn
The scriptures said the penalty of sin is death
meaning physical and spiritual no less
all of eternity this has absolutely no end
in life, you said no when God wanted to bless
(This is written thinking on what I believe hell will be like for those that reject the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.)

May lilacs linger everlastingly
in dreams he dreams of me. Whenever he,
by chance, is in a pitch black room alone,
may he recall the scent of my cologne.
As long as I can write sweet poetry,
may lilacs linger everlastingly.
May he recall our love song slowly playing;
how we danced, pressed together, swaying.
And may he still remember my warm breath
against his cheek. Beyond his very death,
may lilacs linger everlastingly
the same way he stays in my memory.
Oh, may he not forget - when shadows fall -
our kisses in the dark. We had it all!
My darling man, may he remember me.
May lilacs linger everlastingly
