Honolulu

If you're going to Honolulu
be sure to wear a flower behind your ear
if you're coming to Honolulu
you're going to meet some gentle people here
more than just a fashion statement
a plumeria represents birth love
spring and new beginnings
so it’s no surprise
a woman's romantic status
it can also symbolise
if you're married or unavailable
wear it behind your left
on the right if you're willing to mingle
want to meet a romantic partner
looking for love and you're still single

Body Language

Putting my best foot forward
shoulder to the wheel
nose to the grindstone
my Achilles heel
while sticking my neck out
I soon found
as
with my eye on the ball
ear to the ground
when I put my back into it
not with tongue in cheek
but to keep my chin up
heard joints creak
the onset of old age memory loss
an early taste
for in the end I forgot to bend
at the knees and not the waist

The Elk

There once was an elk a lonely elk
not a wapiti or moose
who had no friends not even a whelk
so he went in search the silly goose
hoping for the milk
of elkish kindness
with another of his ilk
tho' he did go looking high and low
roaming all around in the snow
sad to say at the end of the day
no others there were to be found
and what's more seeking far and near
he saw not even a caribou
no one who'd whisper in his ear
so no he never knew
he was the only elk in the zoo

What's Offal and were to get it Allegretto

ZGlance Phattey
 is a marvelous movie
it has enough equal parts
 to balance even the most
religious or anti religious
 person or people.
People often get tired of
the religious reasons for doing
or not doing things. I heard
"The Baronet and Knight were
in dispute due to her belief in
 a non- sexual relationship
be fore marriage the movie
 tackles the belief and
 disbelief of people
needing excuses to due
 thinks. Some who
 are mighty worshippers.
My sister in laws
lover sued the other man in his
brother-in-laws relationship
for not reporting the honey bees had
ecasped.
They thought it was smart for
with holding the data
due to the Monarch who
wished themthe news due to the
beliefs of those
who refused to study
the catogories before
speaking on sunbject than were never defined
or reserched.
Due to the conflicting laugage and similarities in
laugague
they needed to often write what was needed
to complete =certain tasks
and what.
The words were same but the definitions
were different
it became a challenge
when convaying what was needed.

Tea Time

Maybe a hot scone with butter
Newly met, we have much to say
Our first time together goes well
Perhaps there will be more tea times

Premium Member Ear-Splitting, Liver-Bellied Bullying

plink, plink, water in the sink
sinks slowly into budding suds
torturing the pans and fork tines
who want cascade - show on the road
plink, plop, hands over ears, now stop
but slowly the spatter of drops
like the slow go of a rain storm
keep habitating, repeating
their ear-splitting, liver-bellied
bullying of the spoons and cups
the apron-covered giant turned
off the faucet, threw in the rag,
then the sponge, ew…her hands with gloves
now each piece, that is us, is scrubbed
and ah, true running water-rush
each of us towel dried, put ‘way
from nightmarish brutality
we rest…we rest..until lipstick
lands on the side of grinds in cup
and pan slams onto surface heat
in other words, we get beaten
then comes water in sink, awaken
the bully who sleeps eight hours
look forward to vacation, hers!

Sounds of Forgotten Feeling

Empty ears hear
  broken memories on replay

  Or was it

Broken ears hear
empty memories all the day long?

Either way
  these ears have forgotten
  the use of beautiful music,
and the tunes that once gave
its master vigor in the beginning

Premium Member A Grin from Ear to Leer

I wear a smiley face, the sad world to cheer,
With a red smile painted across my face from ear to ear.
My shoes are monstrous, my laugh billows, raucous out loud.
I'm the jester dancing in your face to please the crowd.

But deep within this masked disguise of paint,
Something inside has died, that's neither funny, silly nor quaint.
For the tears painted on my face are not fake but real,
For I cannot shed the dark cloud's doom, and its thunderous peal.

Playing the fool, clowning around is a shield,
For the somber dark sadness felt within and revealed,
When the tears of clowns roll down my painted cheeks.
Warm, wet and fresh, as the sadness within wells-up, and bleats.

I will play by ear

I will play by ear
What I am going to do
Tomorrow morning
When I wake up
Late
Because I will sleep in
During the mornings
Because I am very tire
And I also need to get more sleep
Yes I will be up by noon
Than I will go to my living room
I will turn my computer on
And I will do some work for my
Father
I will write some poems
AIl my poems have different
Feelings that comes out from
My heart

Amethyst hearts full of cheer
Indigo night devoid of fear

A Whisper in Devil's Ear

Satan deceitful innermost mean thoughts
Decaying fungi influence left rots.

Even with the threat, soul can't stop smiling
Feel of deceit and actions beguiling.

Deep breath and release of known temptation
The mind lure images grow creation.

Self-knowing even if the mortal knows
the outcome, Satan just turns up its nose.

Whisper in Devil's Ear precarious
Possession rash acts, temerarious.

Premium Member A Whisper In Devil's Ear

As a lotus raises its head to receive the sun rays
I wait expectantly for my Lord's whisper in my ears.
In the forms of Satan or tempter, evil has its ways.
Amidst my fears, it enters my spheres and wishes me cheers.

Whispers between blossoms and flies are secret and sacred.
Agape of give and take are amalgamated in them.
What else can the ways of the devil be except hatred?
They deceive as the fading colours of petals and stem.

I'll give you the world and wonders, he says, as though they're his.
Can I take these with me when I pass through the cave of my grave?
Each moment of my existence has been a baffling quiz
His whispers would enslave me while the divine grace would save.

A tree might listen to the voices of both storm and breeze.
Though they bear the sounds of storms, does any tree feel at ease?
