On
the
threshold
of twilight,
firefly lamps ignite,

Bewitched children covet the charming, floating gold orbs
abandoning play to chase tiny elfin creatures, capturing joy in glass jar globes.

Blooming phosphorescent glow spills magical light, charming effulgence for hanging wisteria pergola. Perfumed purple clusters scent

sunset duskiness. Fragrance, lamps, and a cozy sanctum form playtime perfection till little eyes grow sleep heavy, fairyland abandoned for soft eiderdown quilts. Firefly lanterns grow still and dull, their flawless light extinguished.

Intense thirst in the sweltering desert,
yet, the emerald succulents still thrive;
for surviving, often takes extra effort.
Intense thirst in the sweltering desert;
Then cool moon arrives, as if pressured.
A beautiful, flowering cacti night, alive!
Intense thirst in the sweltering desert,
yet, the emerald succulents still thrive.

Premium Member When Summer is Gone

With the season’s cyclic turn
summer’s blinding brilliance gives way
to soft fading light and duskiness
clouds move swiftly across the blue sky
fleeting past the drowsing sun.

Leaves rustle gently in cool breeze.
nature’s palette is ready with new hues.
green color gives way to multi shades.
Maples stand proud flaunting their leaves,
of red, yellow, gold and ochre.

Acorns hang like earrings from needle pines.
flowers that blossomed under warmth and light,
are fast fading out and withering away.
it is amazing how nature carries out,
its revamping with each changing season!

Though golden moments are lost in time’s passing
let us gladly embrace the seasons of our life.
in each phase, a truth before us is unveiled.
let us relish the wisdom and quietude
autumn and the sunset years bring.

In Dark

She beside oneself near dark,
She give her smile to flower,
She put her joy to bird,
But She is in river of dark.

She search for light of lamp;
She find someone lighted the lamp,
Suddenly those dark hands blowen off,
She saw a empty face in the mirror.

She tryn to be brawny;
Her whimper is so overhead,
The Darkness is laughing at her,
All the demons despise her.

She kept the faithful fairy and laugh,
She yelled at the hands of duskiness,
And said to the soul;
She is turned out the being halfwit.

We
haunt
settled
peacefully.
Hunting for faint fjords
in the fathomless duskiness.
Skywalker drawings darting amid the thrilled pine shrubs,
Psyches shaped a hollow chimera, that kept hopper throngs growing and showed acumen.

Life's Portrait

In the duskiness of loneliness ;
Lying me covered with a darker coat,
Thou seeking a smile of gentleness

Ray of joy, brightened the plot.
Love that worthy, paid the price;
Hopefully carried me to farther spot.

Made me walk in eternal grace,
Having holy garments solenmly white;
Made a life of glorious days.

Thou the darkness served without sight,
Faith led me to something great.

To a Lonely Soul, Sad of Eyes

on the edges of darkness
morning sighs in heliotrope strokes
across the quilted ashen sky
as the sun masquerades
beneath the shadows outcast
from another impending storm

to a lonely soul, sad of eyes
duskiness remains
beneath the fogged rims
of an endless plight

it cannot see
through misted eyes
a kaleidoscope of aurora
in its awakening

it lies trampled
beneath the pounding
of life's ambages
muddied like the ground
soaked of rains

stammering to stand
in the tempest
of spring's breath
unnoticed

Plagued

I see you there
weaving in and out of shadows
flickering like the moon
obscured by thick clouds
hoovering overhead
as the incandescence light
of a new dawn breaks
in crimson streaks
across this sky

I feel your breath
brushing against my ivory flesh
in labored sighs
like a storm's rise
of quickened gusts
and i quiver
within the cold
of fear and death

your name
falls in whispers
behind the masks
of silenced lips
who care not to speak
of your wrath

from bended knees
my hands reach out
in pleas of prayers
hoping to see an end
to this world's despair

many join together
their songs of praise
in hopes to see
a flicker of light
break through the duskiness
of this unmerciful plague
swirling around them
alone they feel defeated
together they feel strength
in one certain belief

A Rose by any other Name - by Maria Williams

Mounting the Hill

to the east
a full moon
mounting
the hill
it's size
bigger
than any ego
i've ever seen

to the west
a departing sun
not ready
to surrender
as she blushes
in crimson
splashes

cement stacks
lashing back
lavender streams
against the edges
of duskiness

me
caught
in the middle
of a battle
over the first
clear skies
this week

stilled
like the air
as the first star
appears
above

my wishes
now adrift
in the rift
of darkness

Blinded

Fool's Gold
Show up in my life
So beautiful, wholesome
Like a angelic magician
Turned my cloudiness to lightness

Set my psyche to tenfold
Shaped me to feel unbroken
Cherished my flaws in all
Vertiginous by your tenderness
Sent my guard out the window

Sunlight turned into murkiness
Phosphorescent rotate to duskiness
Laughter looped to despair
Heart became disgusted
Soul tie turned unequally yoke

True colors revealed itself
Narcissistic knock on the door
Almighty dollar was the goal
Emotions was a put on
Undiscerning steered to deception

Darkened Sky

As change is upon us and the bright beauty of day fades into the steamy duskiness of night.
Without reason or thought some of the tension leaves with the light.
Breathing in the dew kissed promise brings peace of mind
As you close your eyes, stress falls from you, wasted, left behind.
One last slow inhale, the night has arrived
Time to relax another day you have survived
Let loose of inhibitions let your inner self fly
Under the star lit vastness of the darkened sky

My Love Is Immortal Part Ii

In continuation with Part I poem "My Love Is Immortal"

Whimsically adding spices to my life, Planting the iconic image,You bowed my heart.
Unconsciously and unawarenessly, making me deeply insane in your love,
How long shall I wait an eternity?
How long must I resist myself loving you?
As You are the rosaceously glowing of dawn, In evening duskiness of my life, My love will never fade for You!

Increasing incredibly the ectasy of Love,
Enrapturing my heart, all other things are immaterial for me except you,
That's the Love, I feel for You,
How long shall I wait an eternity?
How long must I resist myself loving you?
As Elating me with the high spirit, My love will never fade for You!

Aesthetically making the sense of life more pleasant and meaningful being with you,
Solacing me in my bad times, You dived my life of sea,
Out bursting the strong emotions, Clinging the intensifying souls,
How long shall I wait an eternity?
How long must I resist myself loving you?
As euphorically having a jubilant feelings, My love will never fade for You!

Premium Member Dark Temptress

Near the lobby in the great room
we first make our rendezvous.
A breathy trip up to my stateroom
and I am at last alone with you.

I sense your fragrant muskiness
as I tease off your tenuous cover
and reveal the lustrous duskiness
of your dark body to your lover.

As your wrap falls to the floor
and in all your glory you disrobe
the hungry demon waits no more
and I encup your tempting globe.

I cannot think what may transpire...
Shall I regret today's caprice?
But I cannot vanquish my desire
and sweet passion will not cease.

Deferred until tomorrow all guilt trips
and now, oh chocolate truffle... to my lips!

Evening Star

Bedeviled by the world so brutal
He still bring – off with a grin
Baseless towards one among the nation
Still the only one to conform every time of year -
Once in a blue moon
One will surely inquire
How he find himself one among the elite group.

Lost in the woods to construe the pragmatism of nature
Yet she finagle to retrace a new ménage
Migrated from a distanced island
The Macaw can flee to a new world.
Flocked by same species and aggressed by foes
Over again a fresh habitation
One will surely inquire
Indolence if ever existed.

An aeon latter the brightest star even bears away
The brightness of a solarday
The duskiness undimmed environ is then
Oppugned by thous admiring oculi
In a moment of agitation
Back to same state
One will surely remember
The brightest ring god has ever created.

Rare to our naked eyes
One-time she dupes and one-time she comes along
A glimpse of it in the morning and in the evening
Hesperus usually appears at sunset in the western sky.
Viewed by few, yet known to all
Later annotates
And the former waits for the next eventide.
