Notes About The Poem

is the queen.” —  Mehmet Murat Ildan, Turkish writer

Cool Duskiness

Intense thirst in the sweltering desert, yet, the emerald succulents still thrive; for surviving, often takes extra effort. Intense thirst in the sweltering desert; Then cool moon arrives, as if pressured. A beautiful, flowering cacti night, alive! Intense thirst in the sweltering desert, yet, the emerald succulents still thrive.

I still have a few cacti alive. I used to grow them from seed. Now I only admire your aloe vera.

I've grown cacti, too, and I find them to be interesting, exotic plants, with the loveliest blooms. Thank you so much for your thoughts.

What a creative write you have here. Great/Pretty Picture. The desert flowers do not need much water to live. "Good Luck" Have a fun day as you write away..................

So fitting for the mood now dear evelyn! Ah your way with words is so very beautiful and inspiring! I love especially "Then cool moon arrives, as if pressured. A beautiful, flowering cacti night, alive!" Reminds me also of this ice moon right now! So heart warming! Just beyond profound and impeccable! Pleasure reading this gem! A fave this is for me!
