(“In the Beginning There Was the Word and the Word Was Good”, 2019, original pen and ink)
The All Good, The All Inclusive
Under the umbrella of relative truth
Is the absolute truth
That despite appearances
It’s all good.
Everything has its place
In a conscious universe
Where responsiveness
Is the prime directive.
Huh? I hear you ask.
Everything happens as it is
To perfectly match our needs.
All religions, philosophies, mythologies and lifestyles
Meeting the need of whoever finds it attractive.
This doesn’t mean it’s relatively good,
As clearly some styles and choices are bad,
It means it’s absolutely good
Simply because it’s absolutely inclusive.
Because the definition of the Universe
Of Life itself
Includes everything.

'Sweet are the uses
of adversity,
as the heart grows fonder
by diversity,'
as, hoping to raise a smile,
yet nutty as a fruitcake,
I spoke none too fast
at someone fun to poke
but slow on the uptake,
as tho' it takes quite a while,
he who laughs last,
finally gets the joke.
Theres a flood today in Crick.'
Uncontrolled migrants; on the uptick'
There is football till morning.'
When they normally were snoring
And drunks in their, park being sick.'
Kaleidoscopic Life
Life is ephemeral
Like rainbows in the sky
With tints of joy and pains
Of sorrows and sadness
Wrapped as gift embracing
Diversity of hues.
~ The creation is as white marble for our soul -
holy and without blemish ~ quote by poet
Her lips hum an aged love song
a virgin glowing intensely
Golden arches of lily of the valley
drinking from the river of silver
Whose strings are touched by the heart's secret
- what divinity with a visionary magic
Bright darkness spreads, dim light glows in wide,
Shades in between, from grey to blue wears a smile.
Black dipped in rough and white in smooth,
But darkness soothes and light seems cruel,
All together-so diverse- an awful grace,
Light's envious beauty and dark's texture we embrace.
An artist sweeps his wand from side to side,
Their own identity linger and they blissfully reside.
Today I’m blessed with the task of clearing up some confusion…
when it comes to DEI- diversity, equity and inclusion…
Personally I’m am mortified…shocked…dismayed…appalled…
why when it comes to DEI…people are confused at all
Diversity, equity and inclusion will always make our country…our world strong…
anyone who agrees will always be right…
and the rest will always be wrong.
Call it what you will
But I know exactly where I have been
You have stripped away my zeal and well me up with Nippon steel
The knife is at his throat and travelers are loading in a big boat
Where they are going, I don’t know
But they are getting ready for the burning man’s show
The shackles have been taken away
And we are celebrating a brand-new day
But you have come to steal their joy away
From whence did this act come.
It was there from the pilgrimage began
When diversity is on the run
You have cleared off all the kitchen shelves
And left them standing on the edge
But as swift as the birds can fly
The heavens have listened to their passionate cry.
We are not to be blamed for your age-old dirty games
You must re-install the diversity equity inclusion program
Or the heavens will nail you by the thump, before the year is done.
Black history is global history, and you cannot deny it
The world has witnessed it!
Today I’m grateful for diversity
which leads directly to all the music I hear
and all the art I see…
because…
there can be no creativity…
in a world without diversity.
May we be blessed at a time
when evil is speaking with such clarity…
Never to allow that evil
to destroy our diversity.
Crimson saris, silk
Woven with threads of gold,
A dancer's graceful sway,
Reflecting ancient lore,
A turban's vibrant hues,
Sun-baked earth, spice-scented air,
Desert whispers tales,
Of caravans afar,
Carvings deep and bold,
In temples, ancient stone,
Echoing centuries old,
Stories yet untold,
From the Himalayas' snow,
To Ganges' holy flow,
A sacred, mystic show,
Diversity unfolds,
Ghats, where souls ascend,
Prayers to deities blend,
The fragrance of incense,
Mystical events unfold,
Bhangra's rhythmic beat,
A joyful, vibrant heat,
Dancing in the street,
Celebrations complete,
From the bustling city's hum,
To villages' quiet drum,
A world within a sum,
India's soul, profound,
Flavour's bold and bright,
A culinary sight,
Spices, herbs, and light,
Taste of day and night,
A thousand faces smiles,
Across landscapes, miles,
One nation, mixed styles,
India's spirit, which beguiles
A symphony of sound,
Stories whispered around,
Diverse and ever-bound,
India's soul is profound.
Distanced from source, earth’s ego falls to winter’s
death clutch, with life exhaling mournfully,
hibernating, hoping for God graced reprieve …
dark night of the soul.
Fortunately gravity corrects orbits,
with Spring promised, provided heart holds steady,
through the trials caused by soul’s choice to rebel …
God waits for His son.
Designed to teach, refrains repeat until we
see the beauty displayed by fleeting shimmers
emanating from the motionless fulcrum …
known when we so see.

Writers, editors, chaplains, parents and educators from coast to coast.
Our freedoms aren't granted by just one faith's might,
But by those who serve and have served for every American’s right.
They fought for the right to vote for the candidate of our choice,
For every American’s right, to have a voice.
No matter the color of their skin, their age or sexual preferences,
Atop each Vets headstone you’ll discover a variety of religious references.
From every religion, every spiritual path,
It’s our Soldiers who continue to face the aftermath.
Not just the Christian, the Hindu, the Jew,
The Muslim, the Buddhist, to name but a few.
Our military's color is not black, white, or tan,
It's the color of FREEDOM, our Vets the Sacrificial Clan.
It’s RACE that disconnected us, RELIGION that separated us,
POLITICS divided us, and our WEALTH has set us apart.
Please remember this truth as you post from afar,
Our unity's strength makes us who we are.
For the military's color is but ONE, it's clear,
It's the color of FREEDOM that we all hold dear.
In the golden savannah, where wild creatures roam,
there danced a giraffe and rhino, a sight to behold.
With grace and power, they moved to the beat,
two unlikely spirits, their rhythmic steps entwined.
The giraffe, with elegance, stretched her neck high,
her spots like constellations, reaching for the heavens.
Beside her, the rhino’s massive form swayed,
his horn pointed proudly, a symbol of his might.
They frolicked, defying nature’s divide,
an unconventional pair, their souls met.
Together, a giraffe and rhino,
their differences embraced, a harmony untold.
With each graceful step and every thunderous stomp,
they painted a picture, a dance floor in the meadows.
Their movements whispered a tale of unity,
where diversity and love danced in perfect harmony.
In the gleaming sunset, they danced until the darkness,
giraffe and rhino, a duet shining bright.
Their dance became a legend, whispered through the evergreen,
of a bond unbreakable, forged by the gentle breeze.
I picked each flower
for their unique beauty.
Together they make a
rainbow of colors,
making one beautiful
bouquet. I wish life
could be so simple.
