The Motif was decided to
precede each new verse
The words were written
to inspire a sound
a big bold beautiful
sound
happy enough to smile
melancholy from the frustration
of lacking inspiration
having been blessed with those
who share the interest of completion
and a strong spirt
those music lovers
are willing to collaborate and compose
to complete that full rainbow of
emotion that put's signatures
on something which
pride allows those
to understand.words that inspire music
the joy of collaborative efforts
the sadness of not being able to full afford
the full Orchestra
the freedom to create
the human experience( in celebration of)
and the natural way it feels to be around lovers
of Music in a creative sense!

and Collaborative Effects.

Tux-Gowns
rags and Sheet' music
I saw him put sand on the epoxy rosined floor
to create a sound when he Tap Danced.
It was his way of helping up
create a sound a melody and beat.
It worked we did several Compositions from
this feat.

I never thought that I could be blocked from you just because of rumours.
I thought you saw their envious eyes when they saw us the other night.
I thought I was clear enough when I told you about myself.
And for my past everything is true as I said it,
but now it puzzles me that they are forming up stories to break what we have.
It's so disappointing that you have also fallen for their trap.

Regard " Those Good Old Days?'
Bring smiles in own ways,
Writing a book, Any Excuse,
Need my GSOH a'loose.
Went to football in past stage,
Good book, turn each page,
"The umpire's a cheat!"
"Yep, our goals incomplete!"
"Game plan's still the same!"
"Yes, our coach is to blame!"
"Let's go home!"
"Yeah, home we'll roam!"
"Leaving already?" Crowd roar,
"Spit the dummy, game's a bore!"
"See you next week!"
"At next game we'll peek,
Smiling now, I hit the sack,
Ignore football, top lifehack,
Well, that was a long book,
"Those Good Old Days, worth a sook!

Cutting the Deck
Star filled sky
Alive, energy, vibrating night
Enriching sound of the waves
Feeling the wind on a voyage to another world
Listening to the hottest DJs spinning
Top dynamics of music
I strolled up to deck for a little dancing
Hoping for a little love
Showing off dexterous, super-spreader swing moves
Picking a few Dark and Stormy at the bar
Happy with the harmony
Feeling the rhythm like prince charming
Wanting to accommodate one
Connect on the dance floor
Midst a group of attractive,
Very desirable, crazy ladies
Like a beast killing the tempo moves
Ladies dissipated
Disappointed
Ignored
Out of breath with sweat streaming down my face
Nimble-fingered, clumsy
Knocked out
Flew over the deck rail into the cold
Woke up on a tropical island
Perplexed, no memory decided to stay

Even when my eyes sting too much to even peek,
I somehow still cannot seem to fall asleep
What is this evil force that keeps me wide awake?
This monster, no matter how i hard I try is impossible to shake
It is fear i believe, fear in all its different forms
The fear of failure, disappointing and the fear of the unknown
I so desperately wish i was once again a carefree kid,
With fewer burdens to bear i could easily sleep like i once did.
Is it that insomnia thing everyone keeps talking about or the demons of my past
That prevent me from getting the rest I think i’ve gotten “at last”
It is sleep I find myself craving all day
but when I finally can, lying in bed, i am wide awake
Do the troubles of my past, present and future keep me at unrest?
Or do I have too big of a burden aching against my chest?
My answer, is empty, i have no clue
All I know is that I cannot sleep when it's all I want to do
Oh how I wish to go back to the days where ignorance was bliss
It is more than anything, that time I miss.

You were my friend, at least that is what I thought,
I could not prevent my self from falling, I tried to not,
I don't know why you felt you had to lie,
Now the truth is out and causes my mind to fill with doubt,
Now, here I sit astonished at my foolish naivety,
Showing your true colors, you've lost your dignity,
You threw away respect, this you can not undo,
Severely disappointing is the best I can say about you,
I thought you were a better man not just a flake,
Beguiled I was, like so many others you're just a fake,
Now I can relate to the hollow, solitary tree,
the one among-st the emerald sea, engraved in my memory,
to still be surrounded by life and beauty yet mar it so vividly,
My love was given easily and never taken away,
Yet it was not my love, but my trust you did betray.
Reap what you sow, in time you'll receive your due,
Just remember in your solitude...
what you did...
when some one truly loved you.

I’ll apologise here at the start
For this verse won’t appeal to your heart.
So banal, it’s a shame
But I’ll shoulder the blame
’Cos it's not rude, nor funny, nor smart!

With a rescue package that won’t pick up
Being steadily hit by a hiccup
And prices jacking up
Should we still treat him like a hero
Who has scored a shameful zero?
Still him obediently follow
And this taking to tomorrow?
Ourselves consoling with laughs hollow
And him sparing a ripe bellow?
Or isn’t the disappointing Hero
Some sort of Caesar Nero
A name penned with common biro?

At the beginning of this novel I had no idea
The hero would betray the heroine,
That is not my favorite plot,
matter of fact, it is now my least favorite.
The cover and the synopsis were fastidiously written.
Neither gave this away. I had no idea it was happening.
Two thirds of the way through I think the author thought
Damn! This has to end somehow, but how?
The next time I see this author’s name I will not
take any trouble to buy her book, as a matter of fact,
I will boycott it, thanks to this catastrophe.
Wait a second. She is turning things around again.
More later, I only have two chapters left to go.

Defiant are shards of dirt which particle apart
Never to know their neighbouring flakes,
Not integrating, no squish of accompanyment
Forlorn separates which support not life, nothing
Beneath rangy weeds, breeze blows loose granules
Shifted without resistance,
foreign adjacent land is theirs temporarily
Only for necessity, proximity is parallel, merge free
Neediness discarded, only Heaven can help dead dirt
Because the moments spent observing a scrappy tree
Beside withering leaves has hard expanding pears
Held by delving stem, fed, assisted, nutrient found
Show me expired soil needs nourishment
Requires deeply dug roots, intrusion, rooster boost
Sand blown syndrome suppresses realisation
Instinct drives attempt to be cleansed and extend
23rd January
This dirt hurts

I used to see the world
Through black and white glasses
Until my world came
Crashing down upon me and
I realized, the world
Is not what it seems, so
I began to see the world
Through rose colored glasses
I saw crooked lines, curves and
Lines that said, no road ahead
Where being truthful is
Rewarded with punishment or being
Let go from your job
And lies being rewarded with honors
With that being said, believe
That truth will prevail one day, and
When one door closes
A better one opens
Never give up and have faith

Used to sell cars, it was a few years back.
I sported a tie, white shirt, and of course dress slacks.
It's good to know what's on the showroom floor.
Answer a customers question wrongly, they'll race to the door.
Knowledge is key, with a ton more of tact.
Lying sometimes, yeah, I've done it, that's fact.
Agreeing upon numbers, pen pointing to bottom line.
All that matters, is you get them to sign.
A hard fought sale, numbers juggled a bunch.
This guy got a deal, that's my salesman's hunch.
Delivery's been made, car rolls off the lot.
Will my commission be high, yeah right...probably not.

Disappointing Setback
Six long months they worked
sixteen bright and eager minds
planned our art event.
Artists looked ahead,
painting, framing their great works
for our yearly show.
Then the day arrived;
charcoal, moisture-laden clouds
shed their dreaded tears.
Bullhorn blared the words
heard with sad and heavy hearts...
"cancel the art show."
Artists packed their gems—
lonely display fences stood
naked in the fog.
Work of six months straight
quashed by nature's fickle whim
to spoil our event.

It was a disappointing year for flowers
seeds were planted in the Spring,
I was hoping for lots of colour
assorted lilies, calendulas and everything.
Beetles ate my assorted lilies
caterpillars attacked the apple trees,
my heart was breaking in two
when there was nothing sweet for the bees.
I hope next year will be better
my assorted lilies, I'd love to smell,
see more apples grow on the trees
who knows? Only God can tell.

I planted many different flower seeds this year and it was truly disappointing when I ended up having a lot less than a quarter of flowers pop from the seeds I planted. I planted double marigolds and they all went right to seed during the Summer.
