I feel safe and whole here
Devoid of fear
Alone listening to the rain
Devoid of worry or pain
Cocooned by green paddocks and trees
Devoid of thoughts of death or disease
No humans for miles around
Devoid of white noise sound
Completely at one with mother nature
Devoid of chaos, destruction, haters
I feel happy here as my soul is at rest
Devoid of negativity and lifes stress
I feel safe and whole here
Devoid of fear!

“When yesterdays become devoid of compassion”
I would wake up with blurred vision
Unable to fulfill a noble mission
Around apathy, marked by pride’s oppression…
When such happens midst love’s absence
I would lament with guilt in chaotic silence
Having allowed myself to rule along selfish license
In the guise of caring attitude’s prevalence…
When that scenario lingers of no charity glow
I would pray to God for His blessings' flow
Since His “compassions fail not”* today and tomorrow
Letting life to triumph against challenges’ woe.
*Lamentations 3:22-23 It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: Great is thy faithfulness.

"When yesterdays became devoid of compassion",
you became the reflection in my mirror—
the darkness that cast its shadows upon my walls,
the screams that woke me in the dead of night.
Reaching out, silhouettes dissipated into thin air.
When the clock approached the witching hour.
Nothing but my demons were there to keep me company.
Forked tongues whispered insecurities,
poison-dipped lies into bleeding ears,
twisting and contorting what remained
of a false saviour's psyche.
You see, I could not save you from the depths of pain you swam through.
It was pulling us both down, drowning us in murky waters,
choking and gagging on your sins—we kept sinking faster.
The blackness became heavier
until light could not pierce the veil.
Begging me, you pleaded, "Hold on to me just a little longer."
But the weight became unbearable.
I had to untie the rope around our fragile souls.
I had to let you go.
And now I drown in my own guilt
every time I take a tainted breath
in this distorted world.

In my residence devoid of winter
my mind virtually explores its reality-wonders
thus, with enthralling vicarious experience
I thank God for freedom to imagine
how it is to doze serenely
toward winter slumber
midst assailing below zero temperature
blanketing the room beyond chills…
Here am I persisting to defy coldness
enveloping season of enchanting enigmas
fueled by prayer place
warmed with divine compassion
heralding faith messages from God
hoisting hope*, insulated with fellowship
fiery against ice-kissed isolation…
around knitted family ties
intensified by gestures, verily kind
as love prevails to blossom
bearing fruits after Winter’s leaflessness.
*Psalm 78:7 That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments.

If only I could give this world my best,
harbored in this port of call of restless
desires deep inside a ship in raging foam,
I’d find a way to make my way back home.
Digging deep into my sleep and slumber,
never more would I ignore the wonder
of sunrise colors painted on the sky,
or seeing your perfection through these eyes.
Peering past tomorrow’s whispering Titans calls,
to hear the ring of angels sing for all
lifting you above the dew and dreary,
weightless and devoid of feeling weary.
To pass God’s gift from underserving lips,
to stranger, lover, friend, who may begin
finding solace, meaning, that does prevail,
would fill my cup and lift me up in sails.
If only I could give to you my best,
I’d pray that every day brings happiness
to you and those who love you like a rose,
the scent of all your goodness, I suppose.

DEVOID
Walking wounded on a desolate road
My only companion coursing through my veins
And so much pain that I don't feel a thing
I've never hurt this much
Desperately yearning for any kind of touch
I hold hands with the devil
How did I ever get to this level
Like pulling a bullet from your chest
And falling in love with the lead that it left
Everything is upside down
Spinning circles on a broke down Merry-Go-Round
Closing your eyes you pull the blankets over your head
Knowing that come morning you will wish you were dead
There's no sense in trying to run
You know the agony that is sure to come
You can hear them gathering round
It's an unmistakable sound
You cannot even fathom the torture they shall put you through
Beg for it all you want because not even death is coming to save you

Forgive me I plead unto you
My dearest
For an endless blackness
Looms in my soul
In the special place,
Where you should be tucked.
I desire you, but cannot have you
For it is just a dream so feeble
In the grasp of my passion-
My ever waning passion
Which plunges slowly into endless abyss
And will soon thin to nothingness
If ever, it did exist.

Three petals down, I feel moss-grown...
Nightcore is the tempestuous phrase,
She feels withdrawn, I reclose,
He indrawn his heart, I disclose...
Until this night is over,
All alone, I can't fight my fear,
Trapped in my anxiety, I battle the four walls,
Fragile piety, am a wrecked gall...
Snugged in my heart, infinitely a hold to.

Miracles are God’s specialties indeed
showing His omnipotence of love might
bounty so gracious, healing that’s precious
sure pardon; thus, soul from damnation freed.
Devoid of abracadabra magic
Almighty power reigns midst grace to breed
proving the Lord’s triumph over evil
midst wondrous peace --- hatred cannot exceed
while faith grows, trusting Scriptures, truly right
healing that’s precious, bounty so gracious
miracles* happen, divinely decreed.
*Acts 2:22 … Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know. Hebrews 2:4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will.

Devoid of winter chill exposure
I yearn to bask in freezing coldness enclosure
captivated with nocturnal eerie bewilderment
brought by temperate region’s night enchantment…
Settled around serenity of tropical climate pleasure
my soul longs to feast in cool breeze leisure
yet loathes to witness lifeless iridescent
midst firmament blanketed with darkness accent…
Hence, heart resolves to delight in every season’s treasure
for distinct beauty, nature exudes along time pressure
praising God that with sovereign artistic predicament
He displays creative handiwork* over environment.

I am a butterfly
without conversion
flying in the sky
immersion
I have eternal life
for that is promised
I skipped the wildlife
I am the calmest
I was given wings of glory
so that I avoided transformation
this is my story
hence your acclimation

Though gloomy, devoid of brightness’ stain
Beyond the firmament*… God sees me languishing in pain…
...with my heart pleading for His miracle to gain.
I praise Him… since from the sky, He spreads to me His loving domain.
* Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Blank canvas plastered
But Ill equipped inequities
Of casual sexual diversity
Allow my first stroke

Brush pales in size to the
Instrument God equipped
Him with Ahh. Mmmm

And then you wake up one day
Lie in bed with bloodshot eyes
The slight tingle of existence you no longer feel
Staring blankly on the ceiling, you lay still
Realized how every struggle
Seemed useless, seemed futile
All the past wrongdoings,
Trying to fill your own shortcomings,
Still unable to make them proud.
Still unable to make a sound.
Still unable to fill the gaps.
Still unable to overcome the lapse.
And then you try to go back to sleep,
Close your eyes so as not to weep
Thinking straight, that's what you think
Devoid of choices, lost so much time.
"The things I dream, would no longer be mine."
You're on the precipice now--on a brink
On the edge of sharp and haunting memories.
Life is not a piece of cake,
You reek of failures--a very stinky fume~
You search for a home in your own room.
So, you'd rather go back to sleep
And everything will end if you'll never wake.
