Premium MemberYou are a Metaphor

you are a gentle breeze
a cocktail with antifreeze
an approaching sneeze
or a winter storm
three standard deviations from the norm
four sheets to the wind
and I think your rook is pinned
are you a ghostly mist
or a clenched fist?
I know you are a metaphor
I don't know what for

front page, democracy wins

the medical obstruction of justice as opposed to the medical obstruction to justice

logic and logical assembly of sentences without derivations nor deviations

as i am not the team but the expression of free speech

as i am not property, yet i am anothers possession

another right is violated, the medical oath is not licensable as the incision into free while collecting payment

physical oath is not a valid statement

my physical condition is being attacked and sold and purchased as tissue to erode and validate philosophical conjecture

next argument of logic

exposure death/death by exposure to the elements

requires that i authorize spending on my own behalf for i am instructionally superior to my subordinates.

an in humane condition is being constructed out of my body by the state of california and the united states of america

this is my civil right in writing to define this crime against me as a man

Premium MemberCandle flame:

I watch a candle flame,
Steadily burning in my room,
In the darkened room,
Its shadows cast a spell of despair.

In a lighted room,
Stare into the steady flame,
Connect your mind with deep consciousness,
Spread your wisdom as candle flame spreads its light.

Sometimes, the flame flickers,
Like hesitations in our mind,
Shadows seem to be dancing on the walls,
Like the reflections of bygone past.

Once in a while, the flame wavers for a little,
Like sees the uncertain future around,
Ignores the deviations in mind,
Becomes the steady source of peace and joy.

Syzygy

"Syzygy"

Behind the wet dunes
fringed with seagrass
a blood crescent
kisses the forehead
of dreamer traversed
twin aeon syzygy
barefeet the velvet
sophia imprints
softly speak
like words seen
dancing across
the place between
heaven and earth
mapping deviations
non-standard
calibrating alignment
played forward through
unchartered jaded
emerald forests
where the satin skin
becomes sparkling
crystalline it shatters
like a shell disgarded, then
the body of no substance
becomes transparent
enveloped in rapturous
Devabani heralding
commands cast
from divine throats
lutes and sitars
whirling nightingales
dervishes wingspanned
accompany angelic legions
the journey melts into
deep blue mysterious oceans
easily walked, hypnotic the
transparent beckoning,
this is the way come,
come, come closer
closer, come forward,
on higher Elysian steppes
the bride smiles
an unspoken secret
and turns

the eyes are
twin windows
like doorways

opening
swallowing

Anomalies

The sky is looking to contemplate the rainy drops.
It is considering the theory of becoming new
 by breaking an old one.
I doubt, though, if it is sure for all or if it may be.
Deviations in nature are caressing the concept of transformation.
Look at it in a beautiful way, like from a caterpillar
to a butterfly, mandatory is the definition of changes.

The Enemy Within

The enemy within

There has been a war up North but after some times
the occupying forces surrendered and took the train
back where they came from.
Newspapers and magazines were (for a while) free
of censors and horrific stories and pictures emerged
which the boy didn’t grasp and soon forgot.
75 years later, the boy, now an old man laid up in
a hospital ward gazing at a white wall remembered
the horrific photos he had seen.
Pictures of sexual deviations, torture and murder
not committed by the foreign occupier but by
opportunists who thrive in the shadow of wars
Sociopaths for whom other lives do not matter
to enrich themselves and indulge in obscene sex
that cumulate in strangling their unlucky victims.
Sociopathy is not an illness, is for them normal
as they are not humans and therefore lack humanity
love is for them, feelings of scant importance.
They, the sociopaths, are well-educated people
found in politics, the clerics, armed forces and
business, where they can exercise power over others
The war in Ukraine is a good example they are
pumping in weapons and refusing any peace negotiation
to the extent of risking a nuclear Armageddon.

Leftover Tomorrows

Leftover Tomorrows

Not just the yin and yang of life
Not just the perplexed and entangled
Not even the esoterically amplified deviations
Just the oxymoron nature of the beast

It’s the fashion of ascending and escaping
Of falling into the voids of the heart
When love transcends into emptiness
Our minds form designs to abstract

To gain wisdom teased from agony
From wakeful weaving of earthly plights
A roller coaster of leftover tomorrows
Inverse our perception of dancing tonight

Premium MemberDeadlock

Highs and lows, deviations of waves in a predicament
in full effect like the seven seas currents weighing the
pros and cons, incessant periods of non-stop rabbit holes
at a crossroad. Deadlock affairs what direction to take

assemble, so many turning points to face, fear penetrates and
plays a role that no progression can change of oppossing hearts.

Sort out an impasse of authenticity, withdrawals symptoms
similar to an addictions fiend and their choices.

Premium MemberExpectations

promise may be both a blessing and curse
sometimes turning into something far worse
potential the symbol for higher things
beyond the grasp of most human beings

entering such an uneven bargain
few do willingly pick up the burden
where any result short of final goal
makes an individual less than whole

pressing beyond standard deviations
brought down by weight of old expectations
having become the fly-in-the-ointment
can’t avoid looks of clear disappointment

all but a game of another's making
freedom lies within the role's forsaking

Premium MemberLeave It Out Judge

The judge told the man, “You’re accused
By all of those that you abused.
You’re too touchy feely,
You touch and feel freely
And all of them feel they’ve been used.”

The man cleared his throat, then he spoke
But all that came out was a croak
He coughed and he spluttered
But nothing got muttered
It sounded as though he might choke

The judge said, “Are there mitigations
For your regular deviations
For touching two teachers
And one or two preachers
And, with my wife, having relations?”

The man cleared his throat once again
His voice cackled like an old hen
He just couldn’t speak
It could take a week
His lawyer requested a pen

The judge said, “It only gets worse,
You fondled a man in a hearse
It’s really quite shoddy
To grope a dead body
To decency you are a curse.”

The man tried to write a quick note
He coughed and he wheezed as he wrote
He struggled for breath
Like he was near death
Or had a bullfrog in his throat

The judge said, “Speak up at the double
You sound like you’ve gargled with rubble
As a means to an end
Suck a Fisherman’s Friend.”
The man said,,, “I’M IN ENOUGH TROUBLE!”

THIS IS AN OPEN(organic) FORM VERSE without grammatical symbols the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' & so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and respond thus making the form a two way interplay and often a unique interpretation by the enigma so derived

Easter Musing

On Fort Apache Indian Reservation, in Arizona, there is an old pueblo ruin called, "Kinishba", aka "Dull brown house in the middle of nowhere".

On a hill overlooking Kinishba, there is an older ruin where I enjoyed sitting to listen to the wind whispering among the pine trees as I photographed fauna going about their daily routine.

One morning, I was watching snow fall and melt on the ancient paths below, when I suddenly realised that -although water is heavy, and easily spilt - there was not one single path leading directly from the ruin to the spring at Kinishba!

Everyone knows the proverbial "straight and narrow" is the shortest distance between two points, yet every path to the spring had twists and turns for which there was no obvious reason!

One might imagine there may have been a long-gone tree, bush, rock, shrine, or some other superstition to account for those deviations but, whatever the reasons may have been, the snow made it crystal clear that people will ignore the easy straight and narrow to follow the long and winding path of their ancestors for no logical reason whatsoever, century after century after century.

Good luck to you!

Prophets of An Automatic Atomic Night

Where a newborn star lights
the vault of heaven under the sky
sapphire, high!

You can find it there,
Not the product of a god or some such!

But, man in his madness brings annihilation
to the makers, the father of the nation,
a nations ghost the dire lands divide….

Figures in raven cloaks flock in murders
of black cabals each a deity in mind
each a quest for inner peace
or damnation an automatic life…

When deviations dire provide the profits of war
and genocidal corporations' greed, seed, needs
and design desires flesh and bone born to non!

Black suited witches and three-piece warlocks
reside in cathedrals of suicide watch!

The automatic atomic night rises like a mantle
of ravens at mass genocides, men of madness
and dire means drive engines of earth demise!

The destination and ruination of all our lives…
Where a newborn star lights the vault
of heaven under the sky sapphire, high!
