Sear my heart, O rampant rage!
Simmer deep within!
Scour, devour this rusty cage!
What it takes to win...
As below, thus up above?
Not in this fair world.
Raptor hawk, guard well the dove?
Dead man's fingers curled...
Golden sparks to signal?
Attention that will get!
O prospectors, pill or pall?
Does it pay to fret?
No! Indeed not, my wild child!
Red run reconciled?
Crocodile in Nile beguiled?
Doubt and dismay dialed.
Tiled like floors in ancient tower?
Which architect planned?
Nightshade, is thy milk a-sour?
Blighted by the banned.
Is the ocean welling up?
Where the wound began?
Ark of Covenant, thy cup!
Revenant, how you ran!
Mutilation! Mutiny!
Murder in the streets!
Something lurking we can't see?
Have you seen the beats?
Reservations kept for six?
Bring thy crucifix.
Sullen heat out in the sticks?
Candles without wicks.
Fix it up, O soldiers!
We really must make do.
He who survives, first deters!
Ask the wallop hoo...

In a dark sky, an eclectic mix stirs
atmospheric storms and persistent winds.
Corrupting clouds with mottled mist deters
the full force where earth-bound lightening ends.
The raging quarrel within the sky trends
toward an unsettling sunrise that blurs.
Its vibrant color provokes and pretends
in a dark sky, an eclectic mix stirs.
Heaven meets hell in a banter of slurs.
Thunder bolts thrown, as harps make amends.
A cacophony of sound that transfers
atmospheric storms and persistent winds.
Loud blasting burst of screeching crackles tends
to mark the blaring argument that stirs
with sullen seditiousness, and portends
corrupting clouds with mottled mist deters.
Solemn skies with gray, granite clouds ensures
that torrential rains with whirling winds blends
and blurs the power that surely refers
the full force where earth-bound lightening ends.
Then Susanoo changes his mood and mends
the skies together again but confers
with gods and goddesses alike then sends
winds and thunderbolts as his messengers
in a dark sky.
Springtime on the ranch is just round the bend
You’ll get your nose cleared, we have cows and pigs
The thaw brings forth chores, that smell and offend
Rubber boots and gloves are now our new digs
As the snow melts, we are left with a moat
Springtime is here with its bag full of tricks
It’s sour and slick, so just clear your throat
The thistles now grow so watch out for pricks
The air never smells like sugar and spice
Out in the birch, there grows fly agaric
It deters the skunk, encrusted with lice
This mushroom will make, all feel lethargic
A blend of toadstool and garlic I’m told
Will stop puffy butt from reaching our fold
LOVE BLINDNESS
By Tapiwa N. Maseko
It is really true
That love is blind
Because there is no clue
Used to bind
Two hearts and not three
Into one good bond
That makes the most eluded
To be the most wanted
The one with defect
To look so perfect
Yes there is no clue, rather than blindness
Of great love
Something peculiar with the defect
Sometimes it does not have eternal impact
The defect is understandable
Because in some cases it is curable
When your blindness halts
When your love evaporates
It is the time to regret
The choice for you did opt
When the love from your heart vanishes
All the feelings turn into ashes
Like they are in burning furnace
From your lover’s face
No more you see beauty flashes
But the scars
That your heart deters
Bees are buzzing in their hives
A pony tail swish, deters the flies
Long grass waves, majestic in the wind
And over the pond the dragonflies skim
This halcyon place you love to be
Brings peace and joy eternally.
Reinforcing that sense upon him
For a new world has just broke
Man at peace with man, and himself
Unto this too will have woke,:
To what is alight in all things
A-flame, unanimously
Hailed as what deters all the glooms
For love, that Love: Divinity.
Some may think they’re an aficionado
but do they hold a poetry degree
They sit on their high horse with bravado
it’s from there that they cast judgement on me
I have seen some dish out trophy places
which unsurprisingly go to their friends
Such blatant favoritism disgraces
and deters others picking up their pens
Not all of the sponsors are impartial
sadly some can’t write the forms that they set
They judge poems and not a court martial
so will I enter their contests – you bet!
I consider John’s a discerning judge …
Will I get first place if he’s bribed with fudge?
A somewhat tongue in cheek poem for
JUDGE NOT LEST YE BE Poetry Contest

Life is full of distractions
that can get us off track
We tend to lose our focus
on what really matters most
Tunnel vision often deters us
from our destiny making it
hard for us to see
Something magnificent awaits
us if we keep our eyes on the
prize
Never lose your focus because
you are closer than you think
Keep pressing forward until
at last you cross the finish line
You consider it a personal honor doing the work that you do,
all you have done in the past and to this day continue,
spreading awareness, giving lectures on an international level,
about an alternative way of living where everyone can revel,
in a society,
where everyone globally,
can reach their absolutely highest potential.
The challenges you face are astronomical,
but that never stops you from pursuing what most say is impossible.
Ignorance is your greatest and most constant obstacle,
but that never deters you, you see through those walls,
of layers of learned behavior imposed upon them,
by their environment, generation after generation.
What you are doing is encouraging the complacent to start thinking,
and little by little you are succeeding.
More and more people are thinking, researching and learning,
that there is a lot of sense to what you are saying.
One last thing before I go,
I and many others truly appreciate you. Thank you Roxanne Meadows.
Wind brings a gust of icy chills
blowing freely in open fields and barren trees,
brisk and cold temperatures freeze the spirit
but not once deters the soul
sequestered and hidden from the rays of the sun;
but no creature can hide forever
momentary madness calls them to the light,
and in the piled leaves creatures flutter
rustling and scratching the frozen earth
to nestle deep into the bath of crackled crunch;
a susurrate cry rises in the embracing warm
of faint faded rays to bathe in the winter sun.
winter cooling
get inside me
live the difference
night scares
come to my bed
be safe
desolate road
deters from go
call me
in your each case
For Your work, my God, that calls for my best sacrifice
I present myself by Your mercy every time I arise
Overcoming idleness of futile exercise.
In fulfilling my tasks with Your guidance, surely wise...
Here am I, Lord.
For Your work, my Master, that demands my full responsibility
I submit myself, thanking Your salvation-security
Refraining from indulging in laxity.
In exerting my efforts while doing Your entrusted duty...
Here am I, Lord.
For Your work, My Creator, that increases my eternal treasure
I yield myself, so I can be diligent midst labor-measure
Prevailing over worldly pressure.
In performing my roles with Your power’s enclosure...
Here am I, Lord.
For Your work, my Saviour, that deters my earthly toil-anguish
I humble myself midst temptations that make me languish
Abiding in biblical standards I, by Your grace, distinguish.
In shining to reflect Your light no one could extinguish...
Here am I, Lord*.
*Acts 9:10 ... Behold, I am here, Lord.

Though the trail has grown cold,
this never deters
Clues are always left behind ...
connections of a most human kind
Desperate souls feel a compulsive need
to leave cyber cadaver traces of a living memory
Holographic scrapbooks hidden in encrypted firewalls
Another person will have it stored
somewhere in an undetectable virtual vault
Clues inevitably left behind ...
encoded software of a fingerprint scent design
Whether here or there, it doesn’t matter where —
Tracker will find it
Nothing can remain unseen
from Tracker’s deep-space grade fiber optics
Many have used elaborate neural dampening shields
to cover their beta-wave tracks
And plenty use med-ob configuration distortion nodes
to mask their most unique cranial activity signature
But Tracker knows ...
she always find corporate government illegal those
With bloodhound genes lab womb grown
into her super-sensitive cloned nose,
Tracker will find you ...
it’s just a matter of countdown digital
