Premium Member Love Beyond Love's Design

So sad the eye
That look upon another sunrise
That seems, a light, meaningless without you
For our love last outshined the brilliant sun
And all the lesser dimming shades we shun.
Our source bound as one
Continuous gleam of warming virtue
That blue-clad the golden sky—
But mortals die
And one day even I
Will fade from view.
The sun knowing only gloom
Exists beyond its sphere
Like the loneliness of this room
That calls you near
To comfort thro'
The night's despair—
Shades closed
Curtains drawn,
No moon
No stars
No dawn

I Wrote Your Hair Into A Poem

I wrote your hair into a poem
And it looks like allium

I weaved my words into a tiny strand of hair just to get your beautiful design done

You made me write your name on sunflower ???? when i touched it

Yesterday was a better half of you
Today is a name that stands with you

Every line of your hair
Represent each stanza of my words

Every color you find admiring
Represent the smile that comes to me when i see you

I wrote your hair into a poem
And it looks like allium

Thanks

As I snuggle beneath the sheet
I thank you Lord placing my feet
at such a distance from my nose
and all else 'tween my head and toes.
Though other things you could improve,
of this design I do approve.

Premium Member A Lot Can Be Learnt From History

We live in a land of lies;
It forms our thoughts
Then our minds
Then the words
And all that we design.

Premium Member GEMINI

I am a self-portrait
portraying myself & second self
though, I am just of one flesh
one mind and soul,
I've expressions
of two psyches, dualities
two distinctive women
of two heritages
Didymous are the
liking's of Castor & Pollux
deluxe in statuesque, in alabaster
we are spiritual twinship
thunder & lighting, two-fold
from left to right,
in Victorian elegance
a wedding gown
On the right of me,
in Tehuana frock, fabulosa
I arose from the overworld
one of Northern celestial
the other southernmost
we are twins separately
by surgical pincers, bleeding hearts
as crimson seeps onto white cotton
it stains with the past & present pains
we share one main artery
torn up, broken down
yet are countries apart
with hands clasped
together, we are Gemini

Premium Member Ode To Kittin The Prodigy

Kittin of San Jose, how charming is your look,
silky satiny skin, bright eyes and your voice meeow,
every day I fall hopelessly in love with you !
even before I get up from bed in the morning,
I hear your footsteps on the stairs descending,
lured by, probably the mouth-watering aroma of breakfast waiting!

Hearty and healthy breakfast done, you head towards computer room,
checking emails is the first thing, begins our schedule
“Work from home” is the norm nowadays, so no driving in hefty traffic,
iPhone calendar reminds a business meeting at ten in the morning.
You get busy with master’s proofreading proposals,
in between a few bites of “dry food” grabbing.

Hi Dear Kittin, you remind me of my childhood friend “Tintin”
I was obsessed with, in my teenage years,
designing chips, now my expertise,
I share the skills with you, a brilliant colleague,
together we stand as reigning partners,
champions in a challenging market,
City of San Jose, silicon valley of America,
a competitive economy,
victorious pair - scientists of tomorrow’s world -
appreciate you and me!

Premium Member Eclipsed By Design

Eclipsed by design,
husky mist enclosed.
It’s quiet in here,
far far too quiet.
Every star silenced.

Why are we here?
Why open doors?
Do the curtains
provide riches?

Attraction,
aggression,
will entice.

Tugging
stiffly

‘Come.’

Premium Member The Family Tree 'Make the Harvest Worthy'

It's shade not of night,
It's a rest from the flight

A poem more holy than any from page
A play with more grace than what makes the stage

More reverence there than buttress can bring
From the ground to the arch, apart from the wing

More grandeur than even more lofty a spire
More solid in nature than we can conspire

Giving shade through the day and rest through the night
For all who have need to retire from flight

It's a loss, there's no doubt
Whether storm, ice, or drought

Cellular, cellulose, wearing a crown
Grown all the way up… to only come down

When it's time to leave the sky to the wind
The leaves and the branches no longer to bend

Thence came the life that gave life to the lyre
That would raise up a canopy meant to inspire

More than a point, or a joint, or an arch
The oak and the elm, the maple and larch

Are reduced, as all things which sprang from the dust
To the fruit we produce to provide what we must

When it's time to be borne on the shoulder it's best
To have taken a stand between restless and rest

What we leave's what we're made of, leaf, branch, or tome
Make the most of your time, for we all join the loam

Premium Member DEEPER DESIGN

Light moves through the trees like a quiet sign,
a hush that gathers where shadows align,
reminding the heart of a deeper design,
something tender and wordless, almost divine,
a whisper that says your path is still mine,
even when doubts in the soul intertwine,
even when courage is frail as a vine~
still, He leans close and calls me to shine.

Premium Member design your home

You may design any kind of home you want and I will crochet it
the bird was excited, but thought her owner might be a nitwit
How about a suitcase home? She dared to ask the old lady
She crocheted her a beautiful home fit for a queen, that lady, Grady.

A spider weaves a work of art
Displaying its work in the trees
It had a plan right from the start
A spider builds a work of art
With silken threads, it weaves each part
Its masterpiece sways in the breeze
A spider builds a work of art
Displaying its work in the trees

Premium Member Legend By Design Maigc 9

Melting on your tongue like sunshine
let’s have that toast and a tale.
Raising a shiver on your spine,
butter and honey sprinkled on cinnamon.
Know that this journey was mine,
I share it now to become eternal
live on with the faithful, become divine.
Ingenuity on a grande scale,
the catalyst for a legend by design.
