Pressure
only deflates
pressure hidden inside,
gradually caused my midriff
meltdown
It's a dirty game! Some people'll say
it's not a type I'll ever in my life play!
But you that claim clean, why don't you enter in?
And go make that dirty game clean?
I bet you'll be mute
For it is the truth
That no single human being
Can a championship in politics be he
But I must confess, it's not either clean
For our forefathers in the wrong way they did lead
And I wonder if our present leaders ever realized
That in the same pattern the younger ones will rise
What a messed up government we surely have
Oh! What misguided representatives we foolishly rely
When are we going to our history to study?
When are we going to reestablish our economy?
Inflation and deflation, always up and always down
When are we going to shock the whole world and stand out?
Now it's either God or man
But by now I bet we're tired of seeing the faces of man.
The opposite of life
is death
The polar opposite of eternal health
is terminal disease,
with unease perhaps lying/truthing
in-between timelessness
and untimely demise
So too,
my opposite of steady compassion
may be your unsettling dispassion
Elation v deflation
of all these oppositional answers above
as clear
as unclear appositional questings
below.
What is my opposite of suicide?
Self promotion?
Ego inflation?
Having all my consuming needs
fully answered?
Or
maybe some uneasy questing
timeless mind
and spacious body
in-between healthy Now
And death-defying
death-denying
death-defining
death-despairing
death-despoiling
AnthroLove Here
Remains part of EarthLife There
whenever tomorrow comes
Now?
As Me curiously questioning
feels like our lonelier half
of We not yet
finally answering?
What could appositionally rebalance
death's final answering Earth-climate
and life's open questioning Anthro-culture?
What is the opposite of lively ruminations
and deadly ideations?
What lies contentious truths contenting,
In-between EarthBody's discommunication
desecrating death
and AnthroMind's sacred communion life?
All I hear is constant noise,
I try my best to escape
Its always there.
Sadness is always at high acceleration
Causing all this deflation
All I hear is constant noise.
Sadness is like that earworm,
Most times it doesn't want to leave
Other times it reincarnates into another format
Its always there.
It follows you,
It threatens your life
You feel so caged,
Its always there.
Triggers
Soft & loud
Here comes the storm cloud
Sssh the silent treatment
Meant for cruelty intent
Everyone’s the enemy
Even if I don’t agree
Stomping, slamming,huffing & puffing
Saying he’s only joking and bluffing
Ignoring, interrupting, intimidation
Only leads to darkness and deflation
Rolling his eyes and being dismissive
Thoughts of not to live
Invisible is how I feel
He says it’s no big deal
Triggers are all around
Without any sound
Run, hurry up it's falling
The hope
A brighter future
Youths yelling
Yelling from season
To season
Without seizing
Inflation
Price
Tag
Rising
Each
Dawn without hope
For deflation
What goes up
Must surely
Comes down

Ascending
Just like

Emerged
So
Pray

Eight minutes in,
dream-debut decomposing,
marred in mad mud.
Barely begun, his brutish block,
a tackle that tore through time,
trailed by the walk of shame.
Elation fades, deflation reigns,
suspended in solitude,
exiled in emptiness.
The still dressing room droning.
He sits soaked in sweat and sorrow,
an anvil of anguish weighing down on his chest.
A downpour of despair envelopes him,
Relentless…
His dream withering in a damp corner.
He inhales the burden,
of cold crushing desolation,
agony amplified,
Loneliness lingers…
Anticipation's frustration's caught
in destination's deflation...
Amidst the world of commerce and trade
Lies the foundation of our daily brigade
Economy, the heart of our monetary system
A complex structure that we can't help but listen
It's a web of transactions and values
Where supply and demand leads to venues
Where products are sold and services are bought
And every penny counts, or else it's for naught
The stock markets rise and fall like tides
And investors fear a recession that hides
Inflation and deflation are two sides of the coin
That can make or break a nation's join
The GDP is a measure of growth
But at times, it only reflects a mirage both
Unemployment rates can hit the roof
And bring the entire economy down with a woof
As we delve deeper into this world of money
We realize it's a system that's not funny
For it affects every aspect of our lives
From the way we eat to the roof over our heads and our drives
So let us learn to navigate this economic sea
And try to build a world that's free
From the shackles of poverty and strife
And where prosperity is a part of life.

Less, so lower fabrication false elation.' House prices

What a creation!
A creature of elation
Gave me a sensation
Of heart palpitation
It ate a carnation
In the midst of lunation
And grew with inflation
For such a duration
That held my fixation
Itself a flotation
Until it's deflation
And sunk for hydration
Spotted like a dalmation
Yet more like a crustacean
That gave me causation
To realize my narration
May only be imagination
There’s a global inflation problem
everywhere lungs are puffed up
heads are swollen.
Balloons increase in volume overnight.
The cost of rubber bands
has been stretched to its limits.
We recall sadly the heady days of deflation,
when shrinkage gave us more space
to spread, to drink our fill
of a less bloated air.
Politicians and pronouns
are loudly popping
empty suits and Stetson hats
billow and blow more than we can
know.
We see the mushrooming clouds
of bluster and bluff from afar.
The world pumps on way too hard
continents expand beyond their land.
The sky busts out of its high wide window.
Soon we shall see
how it will be before the big bang
as we escalate into fat flatulent globs
and awfully slow, bulky, bouncing blimps.
~ What Papa Taught Me ~
Save, don't spend
The good times will end
Extravagance, for fools
Frugality rules
A penny saved
A penny earned
A dollar wasted
Independence spurned...
Inflation, deflation
Whatever the situation
Cash is King

I have lived through times of economic depression
Seen my country triumph over Japanese aggression,
Observed the demise of Russian communism
And seen great strides in undoing systemic racism.
I recall the first passenger jet flight from coast to coast
Of our space exploits and landing on the moon we boast,
I remember the first computers, the first cell phones
And now, I am seeing widespread usage of flying drones.
Medical advancements, MRI, C-Scans, too many to mention
Explosions of knowledge in all sciences boggle retention.
I remember when one could flag down a greyhound bus
Long before Interstate highways were a traveling plus,
F.D.R. was president when I was born in December ‘41
Some thought when he was in office, we’d all be done,
But we made it through Nixon and Watergate, still alive!
Through inflation, deflation, we have managed to thrive,
American ingenuity and enterprise get us over the hump
Now, if only, we can get through the travesty of Trump!
Written July 2, 2022
Oh, to carry this sensation of elation
onward forever, to each coming station
Yet the inevitable deflation
the aggravation, the frustration
Become the motivation
~ to reclaim revelation
