Someone is waiting for you

Nights, walking on the street and drinking, just drinking, and thinking about you
Your memories come from the future, we never meet, I am waiting for the moments
The moments of first seeing, oh life give that incredible feeling! I need that heart!

Yes, that lady, is still unknown, but I know who is

Teal Decadent

Wanderlust has led me everywhere  
along lucid wishes rustic landscape;
There is nothing that can really compare,
you don’t have to go far for an escape;

Adorned with a luscious cyan ocean
lies a city full of artistic dreams;
Holding those giving the Muse devotion,
it truly is as vibrant as it seems;

Skyscrapers with electric graffiti,
their designs seem to mimic

Decadent Duo

Tacos and pizza,
I cannot choose between them;
Decadent duo.

The Decadent Dance

Night air shivers in restless repose
To pallid dreams of dorment desire
Creaking groans of lost souls moan
Some poor tortured thing may haunt

Besieged by phantasmagoric demons
Lest blood deceive pernicious tales
Crumbling corridors hear chants that echo
Midst gossamer embraces that flicker intent

Bibles smoulder their pitiful surrender
An effigy of crucified Christ beholds
Soulless eyes invite submission
Cradling esurient sanguine lust

Shrouds cascade in

Decadent

What decade is this if not 2020 at the start
In vision and vicissitude to you and future
Decadent in every way is in decline
A rocking chair or recliner define me
I must love you but only 10 years at a time
Because I get lost beyond that point
Since I only have 10 digits to count on
And they get

Shall These Words Fall, As A Corpse Into A Decadent Grave

Shall these words fall, as a corpse into a decadent grave
ignoble unto the ignorance of brainwashed masses
or by some miracle, enlightenment come forth to save
we humble poets' treasure hope, as new darkness passes?

Alas! Wretched is the fool that pines to splash bleeding ink
shouts to invisible

Naughty Or Nice

Of all the county’s bounty harvest
Steelcut oats got to be the humblest
Fudge muffins do seduce
Temptation's lush excuse
To have us eat small cakes for breakfast

Decadent Proposal

She senses before she sees
The manicured nails - the elegant fingers
Holding out the hundred dollar bills - enticingly - so temptingly
A generous nights takings of busking here
In one proffered hand
She grabs at it petrified it might be an illusion
Evaporating in a puff of smoke

Fingers hold it back, teasingly
Compelling eye contact
She looks up sceptically 
Dark eyes

runs along my backyard fence

dragging a fur coat

I want to indulge in this love
To arrive at its very core  
I want that delectable taste
The pleasure that it has in store

I want to revel in

Decadent Dreams

Every day I am born anew 
Through the mud and sludge 
Of decadent dreams 
And some vague remembrance 
That I'm connected to my past
 
I stare at a mirrored reflection 
I do not recognize 
My cold pinching shoes feel too far away to tie 
As I try to remember where I'm going and why
