just a feeling
while it seemed all the words in the world
could not appease her fears
and yet a single look of tenderness
was all it took to make her whole again

Premium Member Comforting Demons

I refuse to fight my demons,
They are the ones who hold me.
I welcome them into my life,
They care for me, can't you see?

When you and the world forgot me,
Leaving me to struggle all alone,
They were the ones there for me,
To hold and comfort me to the bone.

Now you say I'm lost and confused,
And that I'm just in a bad place.
But when I was desperate for help,
It was them that were my saving grace.

You say you want what's best for me,
But for once let's be completely fair.
How can I fight these demons
When they are the ones who care?

How can I push them away now?
They loved me when I was down.
I wanted it to be you instead,
But you were nowhere around.

Premium Member In Nature's Comforting Lap

It’s a beautiful day in May.
Morning light comes covered in swirling mist
Piles of silver clouds move above
A cool zephyr blows from the South
Verdant leaves flutter in sweet murmurs
Birds tweet on treetops singing carols of love
Bees hum a resonant orchestral murmur
How these common scenes fill me with delight!
A peace fills me as never before.
It's a brief interlude from all angry strife!

My poems from which each line is taken:
1.	A Day in May
2.	Nature in Autumn
3.	The Unrolling Expanse
4.	A Lovely October Morn
5.	A Spring Sonata
6.	Spring Arrives
7.	Gemini Garden- Silent One
8.	What Fascinates Me
9.	By the Seaside
10.	A Silent Night, a Holy Night

Comforting Eyes

The eyes of a Father are so comforting
In its shade you will find tender love and mercy
Protecting you from the lusting world
They are a safe haven for homeless children
Have you ever found those eyes
Among the countless million faces
If so count yourself blessed
Your life’s journey will be filled
 with peace and heavenly grace

Premium Member 3 Am Manic Depressive Tears

The next time you cry,
Acknowledge the warmth of those salty tears upon your cheeks.
That is what it is to be alive.
To have,
To had.
The moment.
I assure you in those lonely moments,
You will feel how strong you are,
How resilient.
You can survive this life,
If only,
You Acknowledge

Golden beams caress
Nature's touch, web of cosmos~
Warm sun is my life

Glorious soft loop
It offers wordless concord~
Whispers bind and heal

Caring hands caress
Feelings sparkle beyond words~
An embrace of soul

Whispers in the wind
I patted my tangled hair~
A hug reveals where

Premium Member Tuxedo Cat

My old tuxedo cat
   climbs again
onto my lap
   seeking the comfort
of my petting rubbing hands,
just as so my heart seeks
   the dear comfort
of her soft gentle
   purrings.

Premium Member Shadows Calling A

Leaking through the worn, gray boards, like a trickle from a dream. Where gentle thoughts raised prayers through the loft, tiers spilled out tears, remembering the quiet moments before. Yesterday, when the silence was broken by gentle moos and squealing pigs, squawking hens beating away the cats from her nibbling brood of dibs. Remembering the truth of a summer quivering, the trembling of rain falling on a tin roof, lulling away the afternoon beneath the tender song, breathless as daybreak and just as whimsical.

It was here, beyond the barn’s yawning doors, that my heart learned to appreciate the simple things. The still, cool pulse of twilight, the discreet brush of hope – soundless as light, pouring out over the soul who knows that God’s breath flows in through those moments, those charming moments, when the heart hears only the sound of His music, softly echoing through the beautiful.

The Whispering Wind

A wind wraps around me as I feel and hear
It wraps a touch of embrace around the skin
But when the dancing breeze caressed my ear
She whispered such a cool and comforting wind

The Tragically Hip - Wheat Kings

Comforting Some Broken - Hearted People

When it is time for their consolation
I always stand confidently with devotion
While sharing message of comfort
with songs of glorification.
Then I let them to take  good decision
In their lives which will please
the  Master of creation.
God of gods and King of kings
 Who is above all creatures:
- People  and animals in the World
- Angels of God in the heavens and
Angels of darkness in hell on chains.
Let us continue being so kind
To some people who live with chronic pains
Due to some circumstances
In their lives.

Premium Member Even the Rain

Gentle rain, soothing, calming
A weary soul, a mind who is silent
Whispering hope, kindness - empathy
Tenderness stirred with the sigh of wet
Whims, inspiring the serenity within
The feeling of peace – wisdom’s hint

Soft rainfall, comforting, quieting
Like a still, cool smile from the heart
Who knows that real love is alive
Inside the one who knows Him, the light
The Savior who wipes away each tear
With the same hand that lingers
Inside the song of rain lulling the soul
To listen to the faithful prayers
From those who know His ways

Relaxing raindrops, arousing joy
Where there was once a darkness
Now lives the moment of anticipation
Promising the spirit – reassuring
So that His love fills this expression
Creation’s admittance that even
Showers hold the smiles of a King
The Prince of peace brings peace
To every creature, each creation
Who believes He is the Son – the
Truth who brings us out of darkness
With grace that frees, mercy
That believes He truly is the reason
For believing – the reason for worship
The reason – for the praise that … Even the rain can’t help offering!

If We Live To Bless Others

IF WE LIVE TO BLESS OTHERS
Have sympathy for another who's hurting,
Empathize with the way that they feel,
Be free with your kindness and comfort,
And share your heartfelt ideals.
Be generous with those who may need you,
Give love where pure love is gone.
Tenderness and patience are needed,
And often a comforting song.
Sometimes you may be downhearted,
Or feel like the world is so cruel,
But if you'll rise and help others
And follow the old "golden rule,"
Life will be better by serving
The needs of your poor fellowman.
For blessings will attend those who follow
Such a wonderful, God-given plan.
You see, we were made to serve others,
To find our happiness there,
And if we live to bless others
In time we'll have our full share.

Premium Member Never Seen It Coming

Imprisoned in my mind,
The words that need to be said
Write down on paper, no binding
Not to leave them there, grinding.

I'm in an occupied state of being,
I'll be free from this space soon
I'll break free out of that small place
Been locked up inside, without a tune.

In my head, trying to think clearly,
With the direction being where I am
The writing exercises
I need to practice daily.

I thought to myself,
I'll be ok, with that in mind
Don't get too comfortable
Your writing won't come comforted.

I need to strive harder,
With my writing on the outside
Instead of the written inside.

Anxiety comes at me in this writing;
I need more air where I can breathe
Anxiousness has taken my breath away.

Look's like this is an ending to the end.

The Graceful Clouds and Comforting Winds

The clouds that gracefully float up above
With a cool comforting wind that'll freshen.
The winds are like the embrace of God's love
And bright blue skies are the entrance to Heaven!
