The Widdler

A knife lie in her bed, her hand rests atop the hilt.

The satin maple bed frame lie bare beneath her fingers,

And the aliferous knife lie skin warm in the cradle of her hand.

A pile of gossamer shavings grow on her sheets,

Surrounded by splinters near her pillow-
concealed by soft down.

She awaits the conception of a fish,
Sat

A Tipping Balance

Pressure builds to the last straw
A butterfly unfolds its wings
Toes coil down on cliff's edge
The flippy flop flips to pause
In a coin tossed spins in the wind
Fate's fair is on hold in the air
For a tiny puff can
Blow out the candle
Or make the butterfly
Take to the air
Or send momentous whispers
in murmuring ripples that propagate
To shake

Curly Serenade

The awning of Ovis, a shade from the sun,
Cast patterns of light, where her story begun.
Not rain-streaked glass, but a warm, open space,
Where her curly brown hair framed a captivating face.
She moved through the tables, a sun-dappled dream,
Her presence a current, a vibrant sunbeam.
"A light, if you have one?" her soft voice inquired,
Her eyes, like

It can't be coincidence

Must be the the fourth or third time, 
me wishing to thrive, in another life.

One and two years before, 
I wished I would be set in groups with you more.

Now when just being next to you makes me shake, 
lets every memory replace, 
breathing is getting hard to remake,
Thoughts sending me: "I think it's enough,

A Strange Coincidence or Not

While they were living
in the same country,
in the same city,
in the same neighbourhood,
even in the same block,
but in their own flats
next to each other,

they never had anything in common
except for the graveyard
they were buried;

What a strange coincidence, 
I thought, it was indeed;

What a Coincidence

Another lonely walk
But still with you I talk
Though only in my mind
Of subjects of all kinds
Mostly that of love
But sometimes that of more
And always you agree
With what I have in store

And also say you do
The things that you want too
Coincidentally
They're the same as me
In sharing what we'd like
And how it'd feel so good
I would not

Have You Ever?

Have you ever paused to skim a stone
And considered the interplay of physics, frolic and force?
Have you ever driven a car to an new place in an unknown country 
And  been awed by the meshing of technology, wanderlust and law that made it doable?
Have you ever seen a dance with partners intertwined to music

There's no twist of fate,
Your life, hardship, and failures
They're for a reason.

Tamper with her phone, primary income 
        Sugar site no longer accessible 
        Selfish intentions drove his decision

Split Wide Open

The world of God’s miraculous,
 Imbedded deep with creation’s love,
Split wide open
With the lightning of grace
Fragile shells of human bondage
Cannot contain their foolishness,
Nor feathers in the whirlwind
Neither dandelion seeds
Of crystal puffs - dizzy imbedded joy -
Uncontrollable laughter explodes,
On paths of effervescence,
Yearns to burst through
Frozen crusts of icy shame
Freezing clods of unexplainable remorse,
Floods in

Coincidence

The salt of the earth
     The sands of the sea

   The stars in the sky
     ~ all sibilants be

Pedestal

Put upon a pedestal thin as a razor blade 
where you must balance precariously
for the higher it’s raised the longer the fall
It’s simpler to say and do nothing at all
It’s far too risky to care
to put yourself out there
You slipped once before
perhaps you were pushed
It left a nasty scar 
which is quite a coincidence
