Premium Member There In the Snow

Sometimes life gets peculiar,
a picture falls off a wall
when no one’s around;
there’s a knock at the door
but, not a soul, anywhere in sight;
oh sure, there are practical jokers
everywhere but,
when the bizarre happens
right before your eyes,
and you’re fully awake;
that’s a whole other story!

It’s true that dreams will scheme
and play upon the mind and
I suppose under certain conditions
we may hallucinate but,
when perfectly sane and sober;
to lie down in the snow and
make a snow angel,
stand and turn around and
it shifts itself into an elaborate
Raphaelite-style angel,
as one’s staring at it?

I quickly took a photograph,
knowing that no one would believe...
the doubters claim,
“You’re quite the artist
to have carved such an elaborate
angel in the snow.”

But it didn’t,
I just lay there waving my arms and legs;
something...someone else must’ve...
taken things from there.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The subway tunnel exhales
as the train rushes through.
For one suspended instant
between stations,
a stranger's eyes lock yours—
centuries fold into a flicker
of recognition. Then darkness
swallows the moment whole.
Only the rails keep humming.
Unlikely Coincidence'
Seperate generations of loyal fans
music charisma outstanding bands
king of rock....king of pop
Elvis and Michael were #1 chart tops...
Both had a flare for entertaining
all the girls screamed their daydreaming
gyrostyle hips with moonwalking bluesuede shoes
both still selling music and still in the news,
...deader than dead,worth more dead than alive
don't stop 'till you get enuff,Elvis lives! don't believe the hype...
Here's the coincidence without all the poking fun,
king of pop...king of rock n' roll
both gonna make more money dead than alive
both ended their careers and lives with prescription drugs
....Michael married Elvis' daughter too boot...
i wonder if there will ever be a pair like them again?
It's Not a Coincidence
I feel as though you must be mine
Not as a possession but a goal
Something almost unimaginable
The free devotion of another soul
The passion of love
is the seed
that grows to words
and into deeds
It's not a coincidence that we met
and fell in love, you are mine
This feeling is so divine
It happened at just the right time
This love that I cherish
until we perish
from this earth
will always be the love
that only God could birth
Coincidence Or Design
Was it by Coincidence or design
That you came to be mine
if only for the night
The only night I wished for no dawn
We stemed from different worlds
but we blossomed in our very own
Our language differed
but our souls understood
Just one night together
and now most likely a lifetime apart
but even that fact cannot taint
Our night, our beating hearts
My soul hopes for yours
And I hope the universe is kind
and brings us back together
by coincidence or design
A Mere Coincidence?
I was put on this planet
with a mission to accomplish,
and enthusiasm is my reason to exist;
I take nothing in stride...
not keeping watch on my enemy,
and try to live peacefully...
knowing that I will die
without a grudge on my sigh!
Is that a mere coincidence
that I follow in the footsteps
of the few who lived for peace and liberty,
and rejected glory for modesty?
Mockery wasn't a cause
for their dire or distress...
to dissuade them from anything
they had said; there was no wall dividing words
from action,to distort their meaning,
because they were loud and clear!
I dont simulate or imitate the monarch,
and please the well-to-do
who dress lavishly and have a lot:
my living is a simple song...
a harmony with a beautiful sound;
I show pity, and I'm never cruel!
They stare at me, as if I weren't stately...
only cursed with stark poverty;
I don't deny my hunger...a hunger
for different values that stand fast:
I am guided by the starlight,never stagger
or fail to take my stand!
I'm realistic and defined by grace...
to imagine it a mere coincidence:
to have come into existence,
and not fit in any social system
which demands to honor its hypocritical anthem!
The Coincidence and Me
I will tell you more sacrifice.
As though, I fled per artifice.
What do you mean repetition?
I have done more acquisition.
I showed my gratitude in peace.
You foresaw it would never cease.
I have not swerved to notice out.
You owed me nothing but a shout.
Fall in love and fall upon time.
I have my blood is on a prime.
This is a glimpse of exemplar.
It was a gore of the Templar.
I have come to failure by wit.
A society lacked through lit.
I recessed how to receiving.
It started blow to reviving.
Fate.Coincidence.Love
Was it fate?
Or just coincidence?
Five years ago you were mine.
But then things turned wrong.
Five years later, and we are together again.
Fate?
Coincidence?
I don't care.
All I care about is that I'm finally with you.
Thinking about you day and night.
The way you smile at me when you know what I think.
Or the way you caress my cheeks with your rough hands.
All I care about is you.
And it shall rest that way,
For you are my future.
Coincidence
				Is life as random as it seems,
				Each day brand new with no restraint,
				A gift of freedom and of choice
				Without restrictions' gloomy taint?
				Or this .. I've known that man before
				Though when I really can't explain.
				Is this a chance coincidence
				That's passing through my life again?
				Or was all this once prearranged,
				Are we predestined every day
				To do things where we have no choice,
				To live but never have a say?
				Perhaps life is a colouring book
				With dot-to-dot and boundary lines.
				We draw in details all the time,
				New pages showing our designs.
				Coincidence is more or less
				An act of fate, and if that's so
				It's no surprise it lies in wait,
				Appearing everywhere we go.
				So which is real .. unplanned events
				Or life laid out by other means?
				We are here while time moves on,
				Daily colouring in the scenes.
Split Wide Open
The world of God’s miraculous,
 Imbedded deep with creation’s love,
Split wide open
With the lightning of grace
Fragile shells of human bondage
Cannot contain their foolishness,
Nor feathers in the whirlwind
Neither dandelion seeds
Of crystal puffs - dizzy imbedded joy -
Uncontrollable laughter explodes,
On paths of effervescence,
Yearns to burst through
Frozen crusts of icy shame
Freezing clods of unexplainable remorse,
Floods in the wilderness of unworthiness,
Little bits of serendipity,
Untamed marvels – let loose -
In mystical coincidence grow
No fruitless plains,
No impotent fertility,
Wandering hearts harvest wonder
In seeds redeemed from Eden’s scandal,
Shattered pieces of providence’ paradise,
A universe split wide open,
Plans and diagrams dissolve in astonishment
When eternal compassion bewilders logarithms
Astounds in surprises to marvel
At the fertile unbound universe
When two weary unsuspecting paths
Link outside astral planes
And touch the fingertip of brimming joy!
Coincidence I
Providence is provided
by the boundaries
that contain the
coincidences we create.
Coincidence
  That swift line cause
  arranged in codes
  built in procession of her stride
  What lies deep down
  that hidden state
  where ocean guides
  that rhythmic waves
  Stern and outright
  with her pace
  swift and sleek
  with her erupted stance
  She brings termed memories
  with her touch
  to hold hands
  with that unseen now
  Slow tide words that flies to mate
  The wondrous steps that halts in tune
  The searching hearts that merge in fate
  All wear their riddled clothes in space
