April

In the month of April
You appear on my mind
Today I finally came to realize why
As this is the month we first spoke
The way it all transpired if I was to share with someone
They would think it’s a joke
The day I called the number to check on a friend
You answered instead of the person I was actually calling
You were at work but you answered anyways
I didn’t know you
You didn’t know me
Yet you asked me to call back on your break
Strange enough even though I did not know you
I called you back and we spoke
It happened to be your birthday the day I called
I was the first to wish you happy birthday on a call
Was this a coincidence or something meant to be
we continued to keep contact with each other
From that day you see
Unfortunately after three years things fell apart
You unfortunately broke my heart
For the moment I felt so betrayed and so sad
As I never did anything bad
For you to leave me and go
I didn’t think for a second of my life
That this is the way it would go
Yet as much hurt and pain my heart was in
My love for you still remained
To this day I still feel the same
Who would of thought I could love someone this way
That we are not even together but the love for you
Never fades away

Nothing Little

But there is nothing little
About the way they make me feel.
The sense of peace they carry
Is both comforting and real.

Because it's just one song
And just one butterfly and bird.
Just one star and just one leaf
In one enormous world.

And so the probability
Of noticing it all.
Is close to nearly nothing,
Almost infinitely small.

And that is how I know
That when that leaf floats into view.
it isn't a coincidence,
But a sign of love from you.

So keep on shooting stars at me
keep playing me your song.
Whilst you dance atop the rainbows
A blow heart-shaped leaves along.

Yes, keep on sending signs my love
I'll always look around.
For you butterflies on breezes
And your feathers on the ground.

CELESTIAL AFFECTION

Was you a shadow, mystical, fairy-made,
Or a super being born of another realm?
I vivid recall knowing you in a Godly moment
When angels and high spirits roamed free.

My heart leaped- you were a goddess in form.
Every tension in me reached for your attention.
There it was: a second of awe and amusement,
A coincidence of eyes meeting an angel's gaze.

I believed you were redemption
For my lost cause in affection.
It felt like we belonged to the celestial,
Though miles apart across the border's oceans and emotions.

We aligned like nature with its beauty,
We were in it—truly in it.
The emotions that carried us then
Were nothing but purified love.

June 8 Heart for God Bible Meditations Based on Job 24-28

Key Verse – Job 24:1 Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?

HEART THAT DOES NOT HIDE FROM THE ALMIGHTY GOD

Our heart does not hide from the Almighty God amidst His omniscient knowledge
Along His wisdom we surely acknowledge
For us to seek Him in our heavenly mileage
Being His saved children, which is a great privilege.

Our heart does not hide from the Almighty God amidst His divine understanding
Along His instruction to which we are attending
For us to cling to Him with His upholding
Being His called students whom He is divinely molding.

Our heart does not hide from the Almighty God amidst His holy perception
Along His counsels we regard with submission
For us to love Him against selfish ambition
Being His sanctified heirs who are enjoying His compassion.

Our heart does not hide from the Almighty God amidst His sovereign authority
Along His doctrines we receive with certainty
For us to esteem Him by His security
Being His chosen soldiers for divine fight’s tenacity.

Our heart does not hide from the Almighty God amidst His righteous prudence
Along His discretion we pray for through His providence
For us to prioritize Him over any coincidence
Being His justified saints believing in His Word’s credence.

Our heart does not hide from the Almighty God amidst His kingdom commitment
Along His guidance we always recognize with discernment
For us to serve Him upon joyful fulfillment
Being His prospered stewards in His glory’s enrichment.

Our heart does not hide from the Almighty God amidst His Scriptural light
Along His truth we depend on against falsity’s blight
For us to rely on Him with faith’s might and gratitude height
Being His obedient worshippers, illumined for soulwinning delight.

Premium Member And There Will Be Doors

AND THERE WILL BE DOORS

leave the kids alone
and there will be doors
sibling’s pounding fist
and a door much too tall
you simply can’t resist
and a door that falls
surely becomes your mattress
and a merciful son
who doesn’t want to see
his sister get into trouble
not this way
for siblings band together
against mother and father
so this handy brother heads
for the garage to find his tools

putting on their monotone faces
as the parents return from the store.
did you ever think how funny it is
the gravitational pull of the earth
to the very spot – is it coincidence?
dad decides to scare his teenagers
bangs his much bigger fist on the wood
and once again the door becomes a bed

and the look on dad’s face is priceless
and of course his son says,”what did you do, dad?
and dad being also handy with fix up jobs
examines the frame. his eyes extend past the lids

huge nails hang onto the empty space
realization becomes a door in outer space
floating through the mind
commiserating with the splintered frame
trying to figure out whose to blame

i explain emphatically
that this will be funny later
the retelling gets old

that memory door opens and closes

“I have journeyed within myself,
Scanned rumblings of the inner self
Lent my ears to the inner chime
Within grasp of the sands of time.” By author.

The Journey Within

The journey within, for diverse souls,
Begins at diverse stages of life,
For some since early days of childhood,
        Goaded by parental mentoring,
For others during the course of life
Driven by coincidence or a quirk of fate.

For some it`s an insightful journey
        Shining with light of enlightenment,
A straight-line excursion to top of a mount,
For others a nebulous trip shrouded with haze,
Veiled with dark doubt and deadly dread,
A sporadic trek ceasing at foot of a hill.

My journey within glowing since days of youth,
     Sparkling through exposure and learning,
Has been deeply anchored with quest to know myself,
To find who I am and my goals in life.

Storms of life sustained from fate and men
Have propelled me to scan deeper within myself,
To treasure peace and bliss in solitude
At the shining lake of my inner self.

My Son

My son,
extraordinary occurrence
coming from the unknown
going toward the unknown,
Perhaps born from the divine predicament
Perhaps from pure coincidence.

My son…
I cannot mention your name
I cannot glance at your face
I cannot kiss your cheek
I cannot smell your presence
I cannot allow a thought of you
Without your entire life, every moment of it
Invading my mind, my heart, my soul.

That first heart beat echoes in my mind:
It was shy but fast to compensate,
New but familiar,
Yours, but alongside mine,
part of me.

The day I first saw you:
Tiny little creature with unthinkable potential,
The cry of a siren, the glance of the ocean
the smell of country rain, the warmth of a summer day.

My son!
You have enlightened my life.
You have brought innocent enchantment
You have brought unashamed curiosity
You have brought daring harmony,
You have brought brave positivity
You have brought loving gravity.

My son,
Because of you
I don’t regret, I accept
I don’t forget, I forgive
I don’t just live, I aspire
I don’t fail, I learn
I don’t just age, I grow
I don’t expect happiness, I choose it.
Because of you I try to be the better part of me.

My son,
Thank you for being, for existing.
Thank you for being
The sound of my silence
The dreams of my sleep,
The thoughts of my mind
The love of my heart.

My son,
I have been graced with being chosen
To pass onto you what was given to me
A chance at life so TAKE IT, EMBRACE IT.
Dare to dream the impossible
MAKE MISTAKES,
Laugh out loud
Dance like a lunatic
Smile, cry
LOVE,
Just be, become.

My son,
You are a shooting star
Shine bright
Be that inspiring light!

What the Stars Don’t Tell Us

I have spent enough nights looking up, trying to find an answer in something too far away to hear me ask.

Maybe that's what we do when life stops making sense. We look for signs.

A star that burns brighter. A door that opens. A coincidence that feels too perfect to be coincidence.

We call it fate because sometimes chance feels too small for what happens to us.

But I don't know anymore.

I don't know if the road was waiting for me or if I simply kept walking until it became a road.

I don't know if some people were meant to find me or if we just happened to cross paths at the exact moment we both needed someone.

Maybe that's the part the stars don't tell us.

Maybe they don't write our endings.

Maybe they just watch.

Watching us lose things we thought we'd keep.

Watching us hold on long after holding on started to hurt.

Watching us stand in the middle of a life we never planned and somehow keep going.

I've blamed fate for things I couldn't change.

I've thanked it for things I couldn't explain.

But tonight I think I'll leave the stars alone.

Let them be stars.

Let them burn without needing to mean something.

And let me be here, still choosing, still becoming, still walking into whatever comes next without needing the sky to tell me where I'm going.
