Hocus-Pocus
Haiku: by Tom
6/13/2022
Is passing the buck
the twin of hocus-pocus
or coincidence.
Sugar is highly addictive.
I eat it when feeling depressed.
Maybe it's just a coincidence
that desserts spelt backwards is stressed.
The joyflat pitch from a burst of hello, here I am… Thank you.
Nice subtle smile, life in your eyes, I see you also, and now has arrived.
Bless you.
I just cannot stop smiling.
It was only pure coincidental.
But knowing we did on the same day,
and goes the same purpose.
Funny how my heart beats faster.
A chance meeting
a mere coincidence
one look
in a magical moment
where one sees and feels
a depth of emotion
to the other it was
a fleeting moment
with no consequence.
At times I've been under the influence
So since I growed up it's no coincidence
That when I indulge
My eyeballs bulge
And my pulsating body becomes conspicuous
At times I've been under the influence
So since I growed up it's no coincidence
That when I indulge
My eyeballs bulge
And my pulsating body becomes conspicuous
At times I've been under the influence
So since I growed up it's no coincidence
That when I indulge
My eyeballs bulge
And my pulsating body becomes conspicuous
At times I've been under the influence
So since I growed up it's no coincidence
That when I indulge
My eyeballs bulge
And my pulsating body becomes conspicuous
occurrence events
in the absence of design
coincidence fates
possibility
likelihood expectation
anticipation

We are from the universe
sample...
We are from the stars
dust...
We are the coincidence
and the awareness of matter ...
We are the spirit
of the stone ...!
It is what we simply are ...
there was evidence
their presence and precedence
of our presidents
a coincidence
about all our Presidents
face has radiance
we had many hints
penitents as Presidents
said with hesitance
She’s particularly appealing, though not particularly revealing,
but she can’t hide the person inside, and coincidence or not,
I can sometimes read her thoughts, a secret shared between her and I.
Can it be
without surety
no guarantee
Might it be
a miracle
not typical
seems mystical
Perhaps coincidence
or happenstance
what's the chance
Theoretically
it will always be
a Mystery!
Joy is not simply a fixture in our lives.
Or some coincidence.
The joy we cultivate.
Is part of a process.
It is ok to indulge.
It is ok to be captivated.
In this joy that is teetering.
Strange
Meaningful
Coincidence
Inexplicable
If not
Taken
As a sign
From a friendly spirit
Watching over me
A wink
A nudge
A subtle hello
I’m always with you
I love you
AP: Honorable Mention 2020
It doesn't make a lot of sense,
this celestial coincidence.
Compared to the sun's yellow ball,
the moon's commensurately close and small,
both taking equal space in the sky.
Poets, tell me the reason why.
My Return to Forever Neverland
behold blended benevolent beings
Assemblage on my behalf
Microcosm minutes balances all
Eternal spirit equations unfettering
our coincidence of cold living
Universal postage accepted.
Precedents Were A Coincidence
So it really could seem to be quite a coincidence,
Relationship between Presidents and precedents;
Ugly Bods,
Are at odds;
Being vehement about constituents and contents.
Jim Horn
a contrived
fiction
yet
sensitive..
..a coincidence..
perhaps..
a luxury,
whatever..
modern
yet
timeless,
coherent
but incomplete..
a
source
of
day-dreams
Harmony flows, the season can carry beauty and grace
Reminds, nothing is coincidence or insignificant specks
when winters snowflake pearls will decorate the foliage
Always rise to the top
And boost your spirit
Do not give up
Continue on with your best effort
It is a mere coincidence
That obstruction is there to deter you
Let the challenge build you upward
Keep pushing on through
a random
discourse of
curiosity
change
coincidence,
likes&dislikes
up in the air:
imaginary landscapes
notions of season
all structures in my mind,
my voice
as poetry
lost for words
Listen
To the wind
You think it speaks to you
Just as you think He does
The grand coincidence
The fortunate few
Not me but the yous
Hold on to the wind
Its vapor cradle
Will only carry you
To familiar places
When I listen
I hear spaces
Love, a fleeting feeling
Love, rock steady and secure
Love, unleashes hurt and pain
Love, heals one's whole domain
Love, perhaps a coincidence
Love, definitely a decision
Love, at worst, a biochemical reaction
Love, at best, a wholly divine collision
