The day she decides she’s done,
Wasting her best years in fear,
Cowering in filth and shadows,
Her pet cockroaches near,
Who can’t face me in the light,
And scurry from the sight,
If not too tainted then,
By their black-fingered blight,
She may assume her place,
Beside me in spite,
Of a once-roach being sprayed,
And my Queen’s appetite,
Will never be spoiled again,
By these putrid insects,
Ever scavenging and stealing,
Like a cancer that infects,
Where she finally feels the kiss,
On her face so inspiring,
As sun enlightens her,
Without her scurrying, but smiling.
Lust lives in the church
Lying and cheating live here
This place is corrupt
Wants her husband to buy her a horse,
He’s fighting hard, she’s got no remorse.
She’s dreaming of stables, he’s gasping for air,
Night after night, she’s out without a care.
I want a pony, oh can’t you see?
Your wishes mean nothing to me.
I want a pony, to ride away,
She has other men she wants to play
She whispers sweet nothings, they’re just lies,
Tears in his eyes, she wipes them dry.
A smile on her face, she runs into the night,
While he’s losing the battle to cancer,
She’s winning the fight.
I want a pony, oh can’t you see?
All your wishes don’t mean a thing to me.
I want a pony, to ride away,
She has other men she wants to play
Saddle up my heart, you’ve torn it apart,
Hard to believe you’ve got no love in your heart.
But still I hold on, to a dream that’s gone wrong,
You’re riding away, I’m Stage 4 and almost gone
I want a pony, oh can’t you see?
Your wishes don’t mean a thing to me.
I want a pony, to ride away,
She has other men she wants to play
I want a pony, can’t you hear me cry?
Give me a horse so I can leave you to die.
Go to the light, I’ll show you the door,
You wanted a love, not a cold-blooded whore
I smell him on her
The vanilla lingers, the rum stays
But her love has gone
You abandoned me in my most needy days:
the way in summer, people curse the sun's rays.
The way people forget an umbrella after the rains.
The way people throw the band-aid after healing from the pains.
Tell me which hurt more, rejecting at first,
or after winning the trust
stabbing on the back
such a way that you can never trust the word 'trust' again?
Tell me if not love, then what causes such pain?
I don't believe in love anymore,
I don't believe in romance and staying
I believe in eyes that hold deceit
and fingertips that trace my skin like tongues full of critique.
I believe in the fire of lust and coveting a trusting heart to conquer
I believe in shifting loyalties and fading desires but more so,
I don't believe in love any longer.
Time hit me differently,
but don’t pretend you changed.
Wanting me became useless
when every excuse finally ran dry.
Every sacrifice stole my hours,
piece by piece,
until time itself became a debt
you never intended to repay.
Believe me,
I didn’t look back.
I left with my pride intact.
I walked away from everything
you killed inside me.
I left you behind.
You tried to keep me small,
pressed down beneath your weight,
mistaking my patience
for something you could own.
But now I know better.
You will not break me again.
I still carry your secrets.
I know the shape of your worst mistakes.
You played with my weakness,
stripped me of my strength,
and called it love.
One day you’ll see this clearly,
not rewritten, not softened,
exactly as it was.
Go on, replay every memory,
because that's all that’s left of us.
I remember that feeling—
The pain.
The lump in my throat.
I wanted to cry.
I was so angry.
But why?
New text alert flashed across your phone:
“Thanks for the ride home ??”
It read.
“Love, Rose.”
My heart dropped.
I froze—
Filled with dread.
You lay there asleep,
Unaware of what I’d just read.
My thoughts started racing:
What do I do?
Who the heck is she!?
My head throbbed.
I felt so lost.
And then—I cried.
What does she have that I don’t?
Does he love her?
What are his other replies?
I remember
Wanting to open that message,
Needing to see—
What do they talk about?
Is she prettier?
Does she know about me?
So many questions.
So much pain.
I remember that feeling.
And it still hurts the same.
Maria’s kiss lit a fuse,
That Thomas never knew he had.
Now the fuse runs fast,
Through the heart of a man gone mad.
Derrick’s death was bitter,
And Thomas’ heart ran sour.
His head was quickly spinning,
As he drove for half an hour.
He made it to the plains,
Where he planned to drop them both,
But his fire turned to frost,
When he heard the cars approach.
“Where you going, stranger,
In such a mighty rush?”
The lawman rudely squinted,
Suspecting beer or drugs.
Thomas drew his Luger —
The officer fell quick.
He hit the cold, hard ground,
As Thomas’ blood ran thick.
Thomas missed the other pigs,
Who saw the nasty crime.
They blew through the windowpane,
And Thomas passed the line.
Nobody deserves death,
But those who play with life.
No one should lose that light,
Until god’s given time.
Often thought
Never heard
Elusive things
Unspoken words
in mind we know
what truths prevail
our lips to tell
deceptive tails
I love you once
I love you twice
And to another
I love you thrice
And if per chance
Those words unveil
A broken heart
Lies in its trail
thought i'd stand by you
while you lied and cheated
you thought i'd watch
and help along the way
well you thought wrong
i want no part of it

A cheetah’s caught cheating – bad lad
Is punished by Mum, THEN by Dad
He’d cribbed his homework
His dad went berserk
This cheater got caught, I’m so glad!
A cheetah was caught on the prowl,
Enticing the females with growl.
He’d vanish by night,
To mate with delight~
A lifestyle that makes others howl.

12am, alone in my room
crying.
shaking.
just wondering—
what made you do it?
why did you hide her?
why did you lie and tell me
everything was “fine”
you said you loved me
maybe you only loved having a toy
something you could use
then toss out
maybe i didn’t mean anything to you
maybe i wasn’t ever anything.
In the storm of my mind,
You were my quiet yearning.
Nothing to hold onto, nothing to chase,
Nobody can adjust to this phase.
Do not claim the jargon words,
Words mean nothing when they are hollow.
Letters and pauses are only the reflections of my urge
To put you in my precious seat.
I see a scarlet paradise,
Beneath the fabrics, beneath the skin.
I can even see what's underneath your skull,
My heart is nothing but an omniscient witness.
When you claim that you are feeling all alone,
Isn't that worthy of being welcomed?
When you claim that you do not want to be left alone,
Isn't it pleasurable to be denied?
The empty clock reminds me of your sweet but mean promises,
Temporary happiness is what you always crave.
But I have been an equivocator for so long,
I just want to see what my strides mean to you.
