A Mother's Tears

More precious than pearls are they;
Diamonds come not near in value;
Their weight impossible to be
Measured in carats of gold.
Oceans carry not such vast
Turbulence…

They flow from broken eyes,
But stem from a shattered heart:
Squeezed and crushed,
Beating arrhythmically in
Loss devastating, pain perpetual.

Each drop of sorrow falls upon the
Meadows in heaven,
Flowers bloom in their millions…
Angels gather bouquets of devotion –
Prostrating, these they lay lovingly
At the blessed feet of the Almighty.

And the Creator embraces more warmly
The Precious One He has recalled to
Bliss and Love indescribable…

The Great Star of Africa

14-03-2023

Clear cut diamond
530 carats gem
Mined in South Africa
Queen Elizabeth I wonder
How did you feel
Knowing The Great Star Of Africa was never yours
Did you think you would just bond
With it during your term
Or we would just forget that it came from Africa
You made a blunder
Which you never had to deal
With the day you accepted it its force
Elevated you even higher wherever you went
As it sparkled on your sceptre and on your head
It made you stand out in any room you find yourself or in any crowd
You spent
Your entire life mesmerized by it but now that you’re dead
And Charles is about to be crowned
King will he have the guts to bring it
Back home where it belongs
Will he finally see it fit
I wait for that day where the wrongs
You made are acknowledged and are made right
The road ahead isn’t easy but it looks bright

Counting

Her womb awaits, dripping until one day no more.
Such a pool to encompass billions
With His Name she wets in release of Herself within Herself for nothing exists beyond.

One drop.
And another.
Two carats...

Black and White rivers; with spirit there are real colors that truly live.

He has returned from the demons to make love with Eternity,
Until She conceives the true values of life,
We remain counting bodies She leaks,
Remember each drop from Her stomach releases heaven's barrenness
Unto our feet, our 'lives' are nothing but miracles
We must pay homage for with sacred patience.

And once She gives birth, we gather the miracles, the diamonds, our bodies,
And offer them back to our new King.

For She has graced our spirits with proof of Their return,
And we waited, counting.

Suora

Beautiful
 Sexy
Intelligent
she rival's the
beauty of Hera

Profound she makes me
she excites me
she causes me
to need

she under the
Watchful eyes of
Thetis
I'm limited
to her
I long to be with her
In her I have found
my need
( sigh)
a strong performance
the complexity of
inspiration
when she puts me
to the side
I know
she's with another
the envy makes
me unravel my person
(sigh)
In her folly and willingness
to be with me
some how expresses
an interest
of loving together
love me forever
for ever and ever
together as one

One surviving picture in the embers is worth a million carats,
I was doctrinated to Christianity from birth but Islam is my religion
Though I'm sure they know of Jesus in mecca....
Religion is a scam, created to divide and conquer,
A silver bedding in the crematorium that refuses to burn yet let's the attendants argue on who's lighter fluid is correct....
On some days I get on my knees and recite meditations to atone the sins of my heart,
The lust of my youth
And the mischief of my wandering times...
But this year there is no time for self pity
Only seasoning my tender soul in search of the innocence I left in my mother's womb
After all the maker has dominion over the paradise buried within
In Sha Allah

If you give a little weasel,
a nice new painting easel
and a jerry can of diesel,
and you tell him he will freeze -
will he retire to paint a fire
or burn the easel with the diesel
and bake a nice brie cheese?

If a ferret and parrot
have imbibed a bit of claret,
and you give the first a carrot,
and the second diamond carats,
would they see things as disparate,
finding merit in the carrot,
or would the parrot try to wear it,
unaware of its great peril,
and turn the ferret feral?

Betise

Blunt brain such stale dogma holds
Tighter than crags hug dewy molds;
She spurns sparks Reason confers,
And terms sanest wit profitless fuss.

Sweetest rank her outmoded views,
Above strictest sense and full clues;
Cherished most within inured cloud
Are her trite thought frail and proud.

Proffer sure-shining cachings of gold
For faintest morsel of heresies retold,
And she'll a more precious jewel find
Brighter still under Diablo's airier rind.

Her creed says receive and cede not
Wild bootless notions simpletons got;
Let benevolent Logic his carats keep,
And her inane whims have their leap.

Her wild treasures heavier than lead
Shall endless grace that jaded head,
Until wilier ticks of blind-mute clocks
Hit Eternal Proof that sees and talks.

Premium Member Rubies For Her

I spent my day shopping for rubies
I was on tenterhooks to make a choice
Rubies displayed on shelves glittered
And seeing the price tags I lost my voice!

Rubies' purity measured in carats
Their colors linked to zodiac sign
It was not easy job to choose one
With so many variations, I pined.

Seeing me grim, girl on counter smiled
"May I help you", she calmed me down
Given my budget, zodiac sign of my love
She helped me zero on to a Ruby crown.

Thanking her profusely, I left the gem store
A full day had been spent to buy this Ruby
Gleefully, my love accepted my day's labor
Hugged me like a scooby dooby do booby.

I let go of shopping pains, felt great
A candle light dinner in down town
As a return gift, I will cherish it forever
I am now more confident shopping a crown.

Premium Member Shopping For Rubies

I spent my day shopping for rubies
I knew nothing about them
A masher tried to speak to me
I made short work of him

A shop girl showed me cases
There were so many shapes and sizes
So many cuts and carats
One beautiful, some would not win prizes

I asked the price of the pretty one
Way out of my price range that day
I decided on one I did not like as well
Buyer’s Remorse set in right away

You should get the one you love
Said the shop girl who was on commission
The price no big concern to her.
But she had soured my fine mission.

I left that shop after taking an axe
And chopping down all the glass cases that day.
It made me feel better for a second
Until the police arrived to take me away

A New Year's Greeting

Curtain falls and curtain folds
Thus, it means all aching voids
(May they be carats of golds),
Be in mind buried unsold.

Happy new year everyone!
Hope that things are all well done.
Set aside your woebegone,
And start your new year a happy one.

Forgive and forget
And then celebrate;
And a sound mind, indeed
Is all you ever need!

Syllogistics

Comparisons are unerring things at worst;
Every common ore yielded for shinier gold,
And tepid junkets given up in apt forfeiture
For tolerably pricier carats unsullied stored.

Far less treasured lots perpetually stand
In shrouded paths to more pleasing deal,
And more often than not emit lures bland
To fade jollities owners of finer gems feel.

Prudent choosers are harder to hoodwink;
They're grateful to know how to swiftly tell
Vast variance between wee penny's worth
And huger wads quiet past old minas' kink.

They're merrier types closer to Midas lips;
Smarter-thinking pickers noted with strips
Of fair Fortune's higher turns beyond taste,
Loftier than Fancy's dreams and her haste.

With comparative logic one never can err,
Since brighter minds cheap choices abhor.

African Babies

Happily bonded to the ground
They crawl in curiosity
Speak in strange tongues
understood only by the gods that made them.

Their smile, a glow of the crescent moon
That calms wandering thoughts
Heal broken hearts
And bring departed souls back to life.

The epitome of perfection,
Molded with carats of diamond
Gifts sent straight from the heavens above
African babies are true definition of beauty
and love.

Falling in their attempt to walk,
Never kills their dream.
They rise a hundred and one time,
When they fall a hundred times.

Their ability to experiment things that
come their way,
Makes them no strangers in the land of Einstein's.
Their dark rounded bodies, a clear cut of cuteness.
And their curious eyes are full of unending passion
With a burning desire never quenching.
     ... stranja

Woman

The world's most beautiful creature,
And the most expensive treasure
"The primordial leaf of the garden of rose"
A being made with carats of diamond,
From the side of man.

Woman,
A great emblem of beauty
The last born of nature moulded with care
Insurmountable beauty that charms.
The dew of Harmon descending from mount Zion

 Authentic, Angelic, Alluring unambiguously divine
Only to the morning's sun,
can your beauty be compared.
Your eyes engulfed in a never quenching fire,
Full of passion and undying desire

Woman,
The synonym of perfection,
Which no words can perfectly ameliorate.
          STRANJA

Things We Lost In the Fire

These are the ashes of what's left of our fire...
What to expect when electricity meets water;
Though our love has sundered, bittersweet polaroids and toffee greeting cards endure.
... When a house is lost to flames, one surviving photo is worth a thousand carats
And so I go with these memories that come ripe again to soul and bone,
A bounteous pension for the things we lost in the fire...
A bed of roses and a chest of knives.
When a bough rustles a ballad but no one to sing to
She soon sheds like tears;
There is nothing anywhere but nakedness and wretch and sure days of barrenness...
No elastic smile, only guttering cheeks.

You'Re Worth More Than

You're worth more than
All the pounds
And carats of gold.

You're worth more than
All the riches
The world could ever hold.

You're worth more than
What they make you believe.
You're worth more than
Anything so please don't grieve.

If you were gone
The world would be shaken.
A much worse dimension
So much more forsaken.

If you were gone
So many eyes
Would be clouded and lost.
And if you were gone
We'd lose what we treasure most.

If you were gone
The world would go astray.
All joy, all smiles, all laughter,
Would be gone in a day.

If you were gone,
You'd waste your only life.
So I beg you, please,
Don't pick up that knife.
