African Babies

Happily bonded to the ground They crawl in curiosity Speak in strange tongues understood only by the gods that made them. Their smile, a glow of the crescent moon That calms wandering thoughts Heal broken hearts And bring departed souls back to life. The epitome of perfection, Molded with carats of diamond Gifts sent straight from the heavens above African babies are true definition of beauty and love. Falling in their attempt to walk, Never kills their dream. They rise a hundred and one time, When they fall a hundred times. Their ability to experiment things that come their way, Makes them no strangers in the land of Einstein's. Their dark rounded bodies, a clear cut of cuteness. And their curious eyes are full of unending passion With a burning desire never quenching. ... stranja

It does take strength of character to smile when flies are fighting for a place on your eyes and mosquitoes for a place on your arms and legs. Western cultures do not understand native people want the land to sustain their grandchildren whereas Western cultures simply want to harvest all the resources before the next chap. Good luck! Aloha!
