Best Turn Around Poems

Turn Around

Daybreak in a foreign land

Sights so bright

Drenched in history

The sun sparkling through the morning mist

 Vision blurred by squinted eyes

A silhouette draping a wooden bench

The baby sparrow hungrily cries

Walk right past she looks at me

Was she the one from my dream

I stare right back to let her know

Our two eyes lock, there is a gleam

Oh vision bright and beautiful

Come take my hand and walk with me

A journey we both do need

Turn around and comfort me

Your car is not a boat
You can’t float to town
Turn around don’t drown

The inclement weather is a pain
Trying to drive in floods and rain
Don’t lose your life being vain

Premium Member A Turn Around Season- An Event Dedicated To Janeen Brown

Turn it around, Lord
Turn it around, O God in me
Turn it around give unto me
This is my mine moment
To be with you only, eternally
Turn it around, this is mine turn around season
I forsake myself, my sins I lay down my reason

I came through the womb wrinkle and moist;
Place in this world in my mother’s arms, didn’t have a choice;
O’ All Father rains down on us…
Was a seed planted in the earth of my mother?
I was turn around

I grow as I lived life in my sins;
Taught right and wrong, where do I begin?
O’ Elohim saw grace gave me Jesus;
So that I may live on, my life eternally;

This is my moment
This is my time
To stop doing what is wrong
This is my season
To stop this drenching falling down
No longer do I sink, I now wanna swim
O’ Father I want my soul to win
What is the meaning of turnaround?
A turnaround is about to complete change in me
My opinion, attitude, method of life bout’ to change to be
Touch me now, I receive you now, O’ Lord God
Turn this season around

My sin was my treason, it was the reason
I’m believin, I’ve too bitten of the forbidden fruit
I’ve fallen, in autumn
I’ve gotten up in spring, no I’m about to sing
Winter’s barren frigid cold and uncaring
This is my moment
This is my time
To stop doing what is wrong
This is my season
To stop this drenching falling down
No longer do I sink, I now wanna swim
O’ Father I want my soul to win
What is the meaning of turnaround?

God’s grant me a turnaround moment
Such is a sudden improvement,
A supernatural turnaround is a divine encounter
Where God reverses my circumstances,
Turns around the negative into positive
And shifts my thoughts and life in a new direction.

God says, "I will turn things around for my people"
God says, "I will turn things around for my people"
God says, "I will turn things around for my people"

This is my moment
This is my time
To stop doing what is wrong
This is my season
To stop this drenching falling down
No longer do I sink, I now wanna swim
O’ Father I want my soul to win

Turn Around We

Don't walk away and leave me here.
Come back and wipe away my tear.
You had just what it took.
You could have wrote the book.
You always got me back in gear.

Funny How Things Turn Around
By Franklin Price

Funny how things turn around
Two or more faces I have found
Politicians and the news
Changing now their solid views

When the leader not desired
Destroying cannons all were fired
The bunker did not penetrate
The voters did not deviate

The people voted for the man
To show democracy can stand
Change now due and for awhile
The slanted news is just a pile

The ratings now begin to fall
The people have really had it all
Wonder of wonders, turn around
Looks like the leader winner bound

News on board, they are no fool
More politicians think it's cool
The leader now is where it's at
Now he is the coolest cat

Look closely now there was no change
But the turn around is not so strange
Stand for the winner he's a doozer
Not many like to back a loser

Turn Around Quickly

While you face the past
 Your ass faces the future.
 Turn around quickly!

Turn Around

Lost in every way, Almost every day,
Watch me disengage, Freed from this rage,
Yet locked in this cage, Ending in sorrow,
it will be better tommorrow, Atleast I hope so,
Pick yourself back up slow, Then you can just go,
I will never rid myself from pain,
So theres nothing to gain,
Here's where I would start to explain,
I'm the one to take the blame,
Thats right, I'm not affriad to claim it,
I'm the one that makes you feel like this,
Even though I've done all these things to the fullest mass,
I'd do anything to change it, And make a positive turn around fast.

Premium Member Where Light Will Turn Around

In ancient times, marked in Celtic clans
There are stories told, and legends formed
And rituals would unfold
The apples were pressed, to make an ale for wassail toasts
To warm the host, when snow skimmed off the wind
This was when the whole world measured time
This is when the light would turn around
This is where the past would come undone
Where a spinning earth would mark a new beginning
Let's go back in time, to when it all began
Take me to the breaking of new dawns
There are moments keen with memory as bright as fire
Scalding pagan songs as the Druids worshipped sun
Reverse o' time, as ebbing is reborn
A returning journey sails across the sky
Deep within harsh winters steely breath
Let me meditate, and join a dance among the trees
I'll hide my face, a masquerade, a mask in covered straw
Disguise the Mummer's call, with chants of Celtic lore
Where the Yule log fire burns for twelve dark days
And ashes kept, the next year blessed
Weave the ivy and the holly branch once more
The wreaths are made to hang upon the doors
To keep all strong, against all spirits dire
So when spring arrives, seeds will sprout and grow
Oh, radiant sun, stretch the day, shorten night
Return earth's darkness into light
This is where the light will turn around
This is where the past now comes undone

Turn Around

I’m hating myself for the person I’ve become
I’m different to all And not just some
I swear a chimp would succeed more than me
isolation my best friend I believe
Intelligence is there but I live like I’m dumb
progression always stalls
I guess I’m a chump
I left it to fate when I went for suicide
it was chance pure chance
I really should’ve died
there’s no reason at all
that I would be found
I thought I’d be placed
6 foot underground
So I live with this hate that I have for myself
I will never have a family with this mental health
I must have been Hitler in my last life
Cus nothing good occurs just misery and strife
Left-handed right handed ADHD
depression self loathing and anxiety,
I’m sick to death of how I be it keeps me inside
every day I say I’ll fight then I just hide,
I haven’t got a drive
I haven’t got pride
How can I fight
with desire to die
how can you make life
when you ain’t really alive
then I ask,
If I feel like this I should be proud I survive
Trying to finish me off but can’t stop my stride,
And if I ever meet depression in the physical form
I will inflict more damage than a biblical storm,
I think the anger hands me an angle
but unsighted what good is a candle
senses blind and the brain sits tangled
but the body fresh able not mank or mangled,
in a fight I fight if I can coordinate
if you move and think you can harness strength
Sighted unsighted you ain’t damned or too late
If you can move and think you must operate
change your world if it’s bringing you down
climb up it laugh and clown around
Cus everybody is destined for the ground
when everyone stays no thoughts sight or sound
so taste the air the nectar and flair
allow the dreams that are not there
smell the roses get caught on the nettles
And if life is bad refuse to settle
I’m not thinking of the person I’ve become
but what I can build what can be done
I miss the people the scenes and sun
why am I sitting when the option is run
why am I thinking of what is and has been
wiped the hate and mean clear so the knocker is clean
set out and enjoy the dreams achievable
always be positive because the air is breathable
Reach for the impossible however unbelievable
I stand unbeaten and therefore unbeatable

Turn Around

Life is much more bearable
If, as I’ve sometimes found,
You can strike out negatives
And turn those vibes around.

When you’re quite together,
You can root around inside
And find the place the positives
Most often like to hide.

Then you simply substitute
Each minus for a plus.
It must be done instinctively –
Not something to discuss.

Most of us, though, need a hand
For when we have support,
We have the strength to hear critiques
And slough them off for sport.

I thank my lucky stars because
My family and friends
Are there to boost my spirits when
Some censuring descends.

And with their help I’m back on track
To face what comes my way.
Such comfort means much more to me
Than I can ever say.

Turn around on your journey, friend,
and look back to this hill
    I occupy,
    arms raised...hello? goodbye?
Silhouette on your horizon
but now the sun is high.

My travellers
    are all strung out
    on dusty roads and highways.
Not surprised, those who
    know where to find me
    at this extended view.

But you
in blazing trails across the landscape
changed the contour of my land.
    No matter now where
    we each choose to stand;
I know your pack, your cap, your cart.
    Look back, my friend;
    at every turn, I recognize
    you still.

Turn Around and Repent

I added more pain to my life
Something I never thought I would do
Now's my chance to be free from the sin that enslaves me
That cripples my every move
There's a lot I need to do
A lot of new goals I need to make
I'm on the verge of losing it all
because I let it get too far
This is my chance now to make it right
Constantly needing to make adjustments
to my everyday life
I need to get back on the path that's everlasting
and everything else will fall into place
to be like the birds and the lilies of the field

Turn Around
By Curtis Johnson

A few years after you arrived,
like a prodigal, you wouldn’t abide
You soon began to run
Now, you must return,
To face the rising sun

It’s time to stop and think
about your unruly life
For so long, you have been lonely
You have cried over the pains in your life

Now you think that you cannot rise
above the bad habits, and resist poor advice
There’s an extended hand saying, “Yes you can!”

If you could start over, would you make the same choices?
Would you listen to your friends, saying yes to their voices?
Or would you take a stand, just say no, and get up and go?

You are being hounded by the many poor decisions you have made
You have been paying the costly consequences for the last decade

Without delay, the time is now
Only you can make the change
From deep within, your life
is pleading to be rearranged

It matters not how far the past;
A star will shine for you at last
It matters not how deep the pain
You need not worry over who’s to blame

Don’t continue to the dead end ahead
Use your head; turn around instead
Make the change; you have nothing to lose
and everything to gain, and you’ll never be the same

Then Rise

THEN RISE

When the plot you sowed
 you shall receive
the lies you told
so you shall cleave
What you thought you knew
 becomes naive
and you’re the one
who’s left deceived
When there’s nothing more
to hold or grieve
so you turn around
 to leave
THEN RISE

When what you see
ain’t what it seems
what you believe
deceives
just turn around
Rise above
what is conceived
the fight’s a farce
lie’s wicked weave
to appease false
and petty grieves
fight a foe
that’s make-believe
start a war
with no reprieve
turn around
AND RISE
above mortal eyes

Rise above the battleground
Rise above the lost be found
Crest upon the soul unbound
Soar up to the next sunrise
Recognize
who you can truly be
when the light burns away
life’s dead debris
turn around
AND RISE

When the life you create
has broken you down
and fate has you falling
further down
a twisted game of self-demise
the rules you wrote
you can’t revise
It all becomes a cruel, cheap disguise
haunts the bones when eulogized
suffocates the sound of battle cries
cause behind the smoke
there lies no prize
and all is lost
on the field of lies
so you turn around
to leave
THEN RISE

Rise above the battleground
Rise above the lost be found
Crest upon the soul unbound
Soar up to the next sunrise
Recognize
who you can truly be
when the light burns away
life’s dead debris
turn around
AND RISE

Turn Around!

Turn around what do you see?
A rattling skeleton roaming free?
Or a werewolf howling at the moon?
something could get you soon!
Like a witch just seeking her dinner?
Or the deadly reamains of an undead sinner?
So watch your back all Halloween night.
And dont let the monsters give you a fright.
