Don’t Drown

Your car is not a boat
You can’t float to town
Turn around don’t drown

The inclement weather is a pain
Trying to drive in floods and rain
Don’t lose your life being vain

Cute one Karen! Last year I got into about 8 inches of water and decided to turn around and go home.

A good poem. I had lived in California where being too deep in a puddle could happen. Everyone take note.

Karen, good advice for all of us. Flowing water can sweep us away! Smiles!

It never ceases to amaze me how some risk there lives and then emergency workers have to risk theirs in rescuing them. Tom

Love this! Should be posted on a road sign! I once decided (who knows why) to drive behind a store in a parking lot. I nearly was dragged by the floor water into the woods. Thankfully my tire tread caught the pavement. Stay on the right path!! Hugs ~ Kim

Hi Karen, it's much safer to stay at home, and leave the car alone. Have a lovely evening. Xx
