I Got Arrested Further Developments Await

I got arrested!... further developments await...

By gravity said law
linkedin with physics
stating that a body at rest
will remain thus unless otherwise
acted upon by an external force,

hence I cannot wrest motion
from inert human matter
regarding nearly lifeless entity
concerning how aye barely breathe
heavily weighed down

with lugubriousness easily crushing
this seventy two inch
rusty, cowardly, creaky...
complex corporeal edifice,
thus resigning myself

watching flight of bumblebee
hopscotching from one
clover plant to another
wondrous winged warrior
unphased by human "rat race"

higglety pigglety,
pell mell, helter skelter,
how grand living off the grid
venerating native flora and fauna
simply engrossed with daily tasks

solely attending
basic inalienable rights
life, liberty, pursuit of happiness
keeping stereotypical roles intact
males species pact schedule

hunting in tandem
with brotherly comrades
females tending hearth and home
tendering, safeguarding, nesting...
homeschooling offspring

supervising fledgling,
the latter gingerly venturing
tentatively into parts unknown
unfamiliar territory brimming
trained instincts detect danger,
nonetheless plod along

blueprinted genetically
inherent migratory paths
guides where uncertainty looms
within wide whirring web
invoking, feigning camouflage,
or mimicking ("FAKE")
simulating another organism.

I-Hate-School

Neat orderly lines of chairs
Rattling biro pens on sweaty palms.
An echoing hall of icy airs,
exhaling teens failing to stay calm.
A bald figure glares over nervous being through supervising glass,
you will find me right in the middle of a scanty class.
A graveyard of buried dreams.
.
I was made to find ''x'' and i don't understand ''y''
why, ''A B, A B'' was the only rhyme scheme on my answer sheet..
Why, i had to quote and live by the words of another man,
so i could secure an A, B or C on that last day.
Alphabet i might never use in life.
.
Hmmmm...
What if, I get an ''A'' in farming and ''F'' in mathematics??
Does it mean am brainless?
What if,
I can't spell the word ''vehicle'' but can actually fix it?
Does it make me any less better than you?
I can't stand these tests
designed to determine the worth of our mind.

Sixty-Six

Sixty-Six Sixty-Six Ford Mustangs
Rusting on Sixty-Six acres
Of the Mustang Ranch since
Sixty-Six
Sixty-Six parking tickets
attached to Sixty-Six Sixty-Six
Ford Mustangs
Stuck on Sixty-Six acres
Of the Mustang Rance
Sixty-Six Ladies of the Night
Sixty-Six lacy hankies held
In Sixty-Six dainty hands,
Waving at Sixty-Six Deputy Sheriffs
Supervising Sixty-Six County
Tow-Trucks,
Oh those Sixty-Six Poor Unfortunate
Schmucks...
Gonna cost each Sixty-Six bucks
They could'a spent on
Sixty-Six Sweet Sexy hours,
With Sixty-Six Sweet Sexy Gals,
Oh well,
Sixty-Six, "Oh, What the Hell!"s

The Centurion

As the head Centurion was supervising his men
Occasionally he'd look upon Jesus now and then
And as he was instructing his men as to what to do
It was closer to this Man Jesus that this centurion drew

And after the Cross was raised he then stood on guard
This battle worn soldier whose heart was now so hard
Hearing his own men as they cast lots for Jesus' clothes
A compassion, which he could not discern, suddenly arose

And as he watched Jesus for three long hours in agony
It was through this manner that his heart began to see
This man who was there the whole time at the Cross that day
In seeing Jesus suffer he knew that this Jesus was the Way

He had watched in so many other men being crucified before
But it was this, Our Lord, who changed his whole entire core
For this Man was different as He suffered in all complete Grace
Asking His Father to forgive us as Blood ran down His Face

Premium Member Christmas Memories

We walked through Whitleigh, early one winter evening,
many moons ago with the sounds of the Salvation Army Band:
a carol service near the shops and I asked if we could stop.
We joined the jolly carollers and sang Star of Wonder,
the lyrics on a large screen, for those who didn't know them.
A dreary December night, but I recall feeling wonderfully warm:
it seemed to start inside and spread, filling my heart with happiness,
as I held my parents hands, we only sang that one song,
for we were going to gran's but I still smile at my memories,
of a child's first carol service .... and wonder who else remembers.

The snow is falling outside my window, pretty delicate snowflakes,
it is another Christmas Eve, and I want to decorate the tree,
I got the tattered box from the basement that holds the decorations.
Within are all the memories of Christmas pasts,
and in my mind, I can still see all the happiness of yesterdays;
I see my sweet mother cooking and fussing about the house,
and I am helping father with the Christmas tree,
and gran is supervising from her rocking chair.
I touch each old decoration like the finest of lace and weep,
weep for the three angels ... that dwell above.

The Ant Army

Surreal and supernatural, same synergise,
Rational folks call it a bunch of lies,
The march of an ant army, along the jamb,
To converge into the alter, of a sacrificial lamb;

No wonder why the genre, brood,
Wish if there was, ‘Robinhood’,
To save the souls, from the tolling bell,
And the marauders, fire, from hell,

As they close up, for the kill,
For a crystal of sugar, up on the hill,
They nibble on the remains, that appear sweet,
Like a pride of Lions, feasting on meat,

Slave labours carry, grains of sand,
Under the watchful eyes, of supervising ants,
Tread up to build, a tomb atop the hill,
Like a pyramid hiding treasures, of pharaohs will,

The slaves trail a vision of light, cross a gorge to reach,
The water of the Red Sea, divides in a breach,
As soldiers, follow the slaves, with intent to kill,
Nature’s sweet revenge, as water, fills,
The soldiers washed away, into a watery grave,
While new life starts, on the Promised Land for the brave;

Premium Member Rasputin

These are very bad times for our nation.
We are in a very dire situation.
Our tsar is not in his palace anymore,
since our country is embroiled in a war.
The tsar is supervising the front line armament.
In St. Petersburg, a mad man is heading our government.
The tsarina is very difficult to convince
since Rasputin has hypnotic power over the prince.
We must come to the aid of Mother Russia.
Let’s murder that little monkey from Siberia.

The Unmasked Wringer

If this world were a film?
And people were watching
If there were no cut scenes
And none supervising
If all events were real
And you choose your acting

What role would you play?
Which genre would apt
How long will it take
How short will it slack
Think before you say

Drama? Action?
Science friction?
Play? Comedy?
Crime? Tragedy?

Amend now
Don't forget
It is now

Stop BAD
Rise GOOD

Set Me Free

You are always anxious that I'm incapable,
I feel you watching over my shoulder,
it makes me nervous and less able,
never changing as I've grown older.

Forcing things on me when I'm not ready,
so I'm unprepared and lack composure,
and therefore I'm somewhat unsteady,
the pressure then makes me feel unsure.

If I was left alone to do things free
without you hovering all over me,
while supervising every activity,
you wouldn't transfer worry on to me.

It has to be done your way,
or I've failed perspectively,
note I say perspectively,
as it is seen subjectively.

You explain that what doesn't need explaining,
in-depth check ups follow while my energy drains,
the obvious revisited while my brain's straining,
you must be absolutely sure I have no brains.

It eats away my enthusiasm and determination,
because the control is never mine,
I hope we can change the system and expectation,
and you show belief that I'll do just fine.

Blind

A curious stream of light
penetrates a tiny puncture
through the window blind
lending vision to sight

At first I just glance
but very quickly
it grows in height
directing all my attention
like a guiding moon
supervising the night

These moments unborn
time slowly matures
light blinks away
taking a pulsating dive
perception of light
projected on my wall
makes me feel alive

Premium Member And Snowflakes Are Kisses

Dear Heavenly Father_

                            Christmas may not happen
            in many cities this season
could you find a cure for Covid 19, Heavenly Father
you know since mom and dad left my Christmas is quite forlorn
                        and snowflakes are kisses
for they so, so loved the Christmas season
mom loved all the cooking (and grandma helped)
      dad got the tree
            and dad and I decorated
                       grandma supervising
critical from her rocking, rocking chair
            I have many memories
now, there is only me, father
                        and snowflakes are kisses
I go to Christmas Eve mass
and I pray for the poor and those in war and the sick
there are so many living on the street, father, can you help
                          and snowflakes are kisses
and I weep for baby Jesus and his sad destiny
I am so sorry that your son had to die for us (Mary did you know)
      and I recall last Christmas
             dragging out the tattered box
                             of inherited decorations
and I touched each one weeping at the memories
then, put them back in the box
     and donated them to charity
                             and snowflakes are kisses

Who Will Tell Santa

You tell him said the sweet tooth elf
With candy cane all over his face
I would said the supervising elf
But I'm too busy running this place

Maybe Dasher could tell him
For he likes him the best
Dasher's not here said the elf police
He's retaking his flying test

What about Dancer, he could do it
Like a singing telegram
Dancer won't do it he's still mad
You ate the last of his jam

Well Prancer can't do it that's for sure
He acts like he owns the place
He'll strut over here then strut over there
Don't he know he's just taking up space

Well what about one of those other deer
Surely one in the bunch is brave
Vixen, Comet, Donner and Blitzen
And Rudolph's nose are exploring a cave

Then who will tell Santa, it's almost here
It's time for Christmas to start
And Christmas can't come again this year
If you don't let love in your heart

Hey wait just a minute, something's wrong
I think that I missed one above
Yeah you missed Cupid, he'll tell him
He's also the Fairy of love

we have to endure
supervising is rising
be safe sane secure

on us peace upon
God and will always done
day with setting sun

Jesus is up there
has been in my each prayer
words with us will share

table up righted
Jesus again was sighted
have been delighted

for all crime to cease
make sure number will increase
so that it will cease
