do not drop.
always look up.
birds with no wings.
legs made of springs.
shields and walls,
no time to fall.
persistent yet sly
jumps up high
trust and threat
eyes waiting to set
beam of light
bears unwavering fights.
decoy and ace
worthy of all praise
like divers in the sea,
rough, painful, yet free.
kept in the air.
angels are there
desires to win
no ending to begin
hits the ground,
giving the crown.
Rondelet: Don't blame India, the land of the 64 artful Kama-Sutra positions
for the Punjabi Lady in an all-night jogging bus
Don't blame India
For a thousand three hundred years
Don't blame India
Bored by repetitive Kama
And pedologic incest - tears
In iron-hosing buses - cheers!
Don't blame India

My heart
It does wonder
Taking my brain's position
My dog gets in positions,
That make me shake my head.
If I tried such positions,
I surely would be dead.

The oldest patriarch in the close family
Wise, historic, brave and a quiet shroud of dominance
I grew, I matured, I aged
He shrunk, he slowed, he aged
Age and frailty grew: worsening health
He held my arm as we walked along
I was now the carer
He was the one being cared for
The order changed
The positions had swopped
Lime green spider on his web
Revealed by the rising sun
Whose sunbeams are fractured through pines
And its shadows eerily spun
The woodpecker so busy now
His hammer creates design
Does the tree shrink in pain and scream?
His work to one tree confined
So quiet when traffic stops~still
The sound of nature calm
Each bird's song penetrates my soul
Like a liquid soothing balm
The illuminating sunlight
Against the clear blue sky
Nearly to the top of those darkened pines
Soon cool of morn will fly
The poet must become the cook
Put peaceful times aside
Slip into a different role
But in heart and mind abide
Men came into this life at their mother's breast,
and continued into adulthood with a similar quest,
women rightfully positioned themselves above everything,
and a 'Hillary' nearly made the fat lady sing,
while others are more interested in soixante-neuf,
I would ask : what do you think that you're worth,
It dorsn't matter who is on top and who is underneath,
the climax is temporary and rather brief,
my position is untenable and can not be defended,
when we first met - this furore was not intended.

The Position of Grief
-----------------------
Was the sky blue in any day?
I have never seen it clear!
Sine the time of the Mongols to the Amiriya** day
And from the Amiriya day to the muddy days of the plot.
The two rivers are pouring from your fingertips, and I am thirsty
There or here
There is no difference
Since the globe is a ball for the blind to play with
Forgetting that Earth is the inheritance willed to us
The night is dark, as the stars have fallen in my blood.
Since you departed,
Moaning of the words has been obscuring the light from my paper
And digging a cave for my pleasure in the trunks of trees
Since you departed,
The night has turned into a silent old man
Falling asleep on his cane
And I am withering as a wish did not come true
As I court the tears of my waiting.
Since you departed,
Your voice has become an aching child in my blood,
A burning flute
And a never drying tear drop in my wound.
Since you departed,
My coffee cup has been extinguished
And two seats have fallen of the terraces of the stars.
Since you departed,
The water turned yellow
And the fingertips of words have been dry.
In the last watch of sadness, I hear your footsteps
And see shadows walk away
The tavern keeper Sidori said:
“Pamper the boy who holds your hand!”
I replied:
“But they kidnapped the boy
Taking his hand away from mine...
A history of colors was sparkling in his eyes
And writing canceling writing
Amidst the ordeal whispers were faltering
But they may not dig graves for his heart and mine
As long as there are veins for water in the sand of my soul
And lamps that refuse extinction in the erased script.”

** Al_Amiriyah refers to a shelter used by civilians during the Iraq-Iran war in the Amiriyah neighberhood in Baghdad. It was bombed by the USA Airfirce with two lazer-guided "Smart Bombs" on February 1, 1991 where more than four hundred civilians mostly women and children were killed and a thousand were injured.
I'm love’s iPad ready for an embrace.
Steve Jobs got credit for the touch interface
But mine's up and running with all the updates
I'm love's police regulating the pace
"you took that curve a little fast - this isn't a race."
I'm love's surveyor drawing the lines
"the pilgrims want to explore a new area this time."
I'm love's conductor - whew - hear the engine whine
"A tourist wants the tunnel - he's ready and primed."
I'm love's waitress
"sir, that's not on the menu."
Love's entrepreneur hosting the venue
I'm love’s umpire right there in your face…
"sorry pal, but you’re out at second base!"
This piece of inspiration was provided to me in a context whereby it appeared to me that a person present was occupying a position of authority and responsibility, and was allowing the power of his position to be minimized by the flaws and weaknesses of his personhood.

Do not allow your person to inhibit your position. Do not permit your position to infringe upon your person.
Sometimes the lines are so close and narrow that only the Holy Spirit can distinguish and keep the two apart.
As a result, such a person must appeal to God for wisdom, direction, and guidance

The Position of Secrets
----------------------
Tonight we are alone
You and I, and a single goblet.
Tonight we are alone
Like the moaning of mountains,
My aching takes me to you.
Tonight we are alone
I will give you the puzzle,
And you give me the glimmer of your forearms.
Tonight we are alone
I will give you all the rest of me,
And you give me a pomegranate blossom.
Tonight we are alone
I will give you the secrets,
And you give me the keys.
Tonight we are alone
We shall be lost together
In a universe, that has lost the way.

The Position of Sharing
----------------------------
At night, they share positions
She gives him the position of the light
And settles in the wave.
At the twilight, they share the flowers
She gives him the flowers of love
And lives in passion.
In the morning, they share the trees
She gives him the fruitful trees
And takes the ornamental shrubs.
Who said joy is stupid?
Joy is a sea that hides its treasures
And waves in the laughter of a spring sun
Just like his smile waves in the glimmer of her eyes.

The Position of Resurrection
------------
It is not love
Nor it is an illusion of love,
Not fondness or a dazzle,
Not a glimmer or a gasp of panic,
Not a sin or a fancy romp,
It is resurrection
Uprooting the universe of its dormancy,
Repeatedly, with fascination.
Between the bed and your forearms,
Between an approaching sofa and another rolling away
Between fingers and fire
There is a wound the ages failed to heal.

Corinthian columns challenge lifespan
host of novelties transcend
observance pause barters expend
cornices prime, capital defend
shaft and base strengthened
All New Testament lengthened
A night that truly almost never came
A number that I almost never called
And yet when I look back I am enthralled
Since then my life has never been the same
We met and I knew nothing but your name
How could I plan when nothing, I recalled
My nerves had taken over and I stalled
I never knew just how to play this game
I thought I’d just be safe for our first date
So I suggested dinner and a flick
A comedy should somehow do the trick
But, oh the choice of food was not so great
Though compromised, I made it through the night
And not one memory would I rewrite

"Compromising Positions" is a 1985 comedy starring Susan Sarandon.
It wasn’t a great movie but one that I will never forget.
Variety of thoughts with in and around,
The perceptions resulting and leading to oozing emotions that compound.
The reactions and plans to handle the perceptions become more sound.
The gurgling tidal emotions fail to differentiate between the right and wrong.
Amidst expectations and confusion, we demand understanding and reciprocation.
The fight, the pleasure, the fear, everything is within... We are ruled by emotions.
They say, inside some where we are always aware!
It’s not like that! I say it is rarely a conscious affair!!
Awareness is correction, Awareness leads to correct directions.
Awareness awakens the sense of accountability and responsibility.
Awareness detangles withering cruelties.
Those aware stand out in crowd and those unaware lead like a scout.
Source of awareness is a blessing bestowed by the supreme.
And very few step into this realm.
Source of awareness is magic of numbers,
Being granted by the planetary members.
Their awareness is the most important trait of their identity.
Such is found in rarity, their Sillage survives as legacy.
