No Not Me - Penned By Maurice Yvonne and Seren

No Not Me

Did you think when I left
I'd never answer my phone,
ignore your messages,
never speak to you again?

Did you think I was that guy?
I thought you knew me
but it wasn't about me was it?
How often have others disappeared?
You were judging me as if I was them.
I guess I can't blame you,
life is not always kind.
But not me, no not me.
I'm not him,
It's my actions represent me,
define the man I am.

Words lie and eyes aren't always
an insight to every man.
You can't always trust their smile.
I bet the devil is an attractive male
with an inert charm and not a horn in sight.
You can't beat the sky in your own skin.
If your a demon you groom flawlessly,
dress like a king, with a look that's soft.
The wolf doesn't tell the sheep "I'm here!"
It's the guy with nothing to hide who is often
misconstrued. Honesty has it's price.

I don't blow dry my hair in the mirror.
practice my reactions.
I don't kiss up,
my nose is clean.
I don't always talk in a quiet melodic voice
or hide my tears. When I say it's alright
It just is.

I didn't walk away, I had to leave
but you can find me.
For you I am always here!
Did you think when I left I would disappear?
Never!
I hold you dear.
I'm always here.

No not you

You would never just walk away
Away from people or things you love
You don't always say what you feel in spoken
words,
yet you shout out your feelings in written words,
no lies are here, you write from the heart.

Your love holds no bounds, you love for life,
You say that your eyes are not an insight to your soul,
Yet when the light goes out, I know your dying inside
To walk away, no not you, to hide for a time,
Maybe,
.

Premium Member Celtic Dreams: Penned With Vlad Raven

I close my eyes and silken thoughts flow through my mind,
The time before time is opened, with all its glory and majesty.
I bring you with me my beautiful queen, within a dream,
To a time that is yet to come, or a time that is long since past.
The time before time, a blueprint of life, of all that shall ever be.
In this land of all tomorrows Love shall surely flow,
A river of life ever running across silver cords of memory.
My Golden queen, come join me within my Celtic Dream.

Your dream is mine, M 'Lord. Your thoughts reach my heart.
The river is swift and deep and I immersed in Love for you.
Time has no place nor meaning in the heart of our dream,
Past, present, or in all our tomorrows, we shall be together.
Our silver cords of memory will never tarnish, my Celtic Lord.
They tie our silken thoughts together, never to be torn apart.
In any land, upon any sea, winds call out your name to me.
Tis you I Love. No other will I ever join in our Celtic Dream.

Meet me tonight before the great white veil between worlds,
Where in our connected minds we ever meet each night.
I want but to gently take your hand my queen and enter our Celtic World.
There within the emerald green fields we shall join together in Love,
In the valley of echoes our love's song shall sing forever,
On the plateau of Arrach we shall look into our futures horizon.
My beloved, come with me into our Celtic scene,
Take my hand and we shall enter our Celtic Dream.

Rays of waning sun bid farewell, and amethyst twilight appears.
Eagerly, I listen for your footfall, for another night is nigh upon us.
Beyond the veil we shall tryst in emerald grasses and lavender heather,
Where enfolded in each others arms, we intimately whisper of adoration.
Our words shall softly echo through valley and vale in perfect harmony,
A song of sweet serenade until we've reached the mountain top.
There, hand in hand, we shall gaze into a million new tomorrows,
Knowing in each one, Love shall carry us deep into our Celtic Dream.

In visions of harmony, this Celtic Dream was born. Thank you, Mike.

Premium Member Best Lines Ever Penned

Let me tell you about my friend,
her smile is a ray of sunshine
that never fails to enlist mine.

A poetess I recommend;
whether she speaks of love or birds
she pours her heart into her words.

Posting the best lines ever penned
she spills her heart onto the page,
feelings inked by a wizened sage.

Her friendship is real, not pretend,
she makes it easy to believe,
wearing her faith upon her sleeve.

A webmistress, Hawaiian blend,
Connie Wong's heart reveals her soul
every time she makes me feel whole.

Let me tell you about my friend,
a poetess I recommend,
posting the best lines ever penned.
Her friendship is real, not pretend,
a webmistress, Hawaiian blend.

Penned Satisfaction

Every time he picks up
his pen and ink
He is writing just for
me I like to think
This white paper is
our own satin sheet
His purpose is evident a
certain challenging feat
Each word elegantly
swirls with intent
Sentences coming together
being all heaven sent
Ink flows over my bare
flesh and each curve
Leaving me breathless
losing control and reserve
As his pen scrapes the
paper it sends such chills
Every period and question
mark ends new thrills
More passionately he writes
the deeper each pens stroke
Raising the excitement in
me teasingly provokes
Faster his pen artfully
brings on a reaction
When his pen releases its ink
in flesh tingling satisfaction

Premium Member Penned For His Praise

Come and find me in my solitude,
I'm a girl so free,
As I sing these songs of gratitude,
Come, listen to me.

My God is so good, I sing of Him,
He has made me His,
His guiding light will never grow dim,
What a blessed bliss!

These songs of sweet praise I've penned down here,
You can sing them too,
Come and join me without any fear,
Let's praise God anew.

Premium Member Penned Imagination

Are my thoughts my dreams that are bought on by my imagination?
To write poetry is my addiction, my affliction, my creation
I’m lost in my thoughts; this isn't where I'm supposed to be
But look where curiosity led me
Searching for reality somewhere within myself
Only to find a vivid imagination and nothing else
Most of the time with my pen in my hand I ponder, beyond self-ego gratification
Hoping that my fingers roam the paper with my lucid imagination
The words I write are real, content and humble; I try to take the reader in that direction
Giving complete satisfaction and keeping their attention
So that the subject matter I’m penning, they understand how I feel
I think especially when you tell it’s real
My creativity that sets me free from my disappointing reality
It’s good to imagine but so many people get trapped in their fantasy
I always turn my dreams into plans
Especially with a pen in my hand

Socrates - August Penned Poems

He towers mightily over the people
his claims were healing the mentally ill.
To stay in his temple would cure all
they believed him still.

Hippocrates called it the Sacred Disease.
Claiming epilepsy was a physiological syndrome
soon doctors and scientists world wide,
reasoned that crazy people were sick and kept alone.

Socrates had hallucinations type A
a voice would come and advised him what not to do.
His followers were in awe of this phenomenon,
the latter ones thought he was slightly cuckoo.

The vision I see is of a large man,
Ability to fall at any one time.
With hand to ear listening to voices
Acting out a mime.

Penned

“Penned”

what happens
when it comes to this
another woman
takes your child

as her own

and red becomes
the bloody murder
penned in a pig stye,
left field left

the apple of her eye

green,
as iceberg
lettuce lies laced
salad days waisted

shredded through windows,

cold
thunderstorms
in the heart betrayed
rigour resigns against pain

the revenant
never left
resonance resides
on repeat morse

tear-streaked
reigning

Penned Behind Bars

Thoughts
Trapped
Inside
Behind bars
Scales tipped unbalanced
Lack of harmony breeds this chord
Caged word's rhythmic pounding amplifies a deep, dark funk
Deliverance awaits, the blues scribbled into wall graffiti, notes penned behind bars

My Ink Has Penned Passion

Be still my heart, I’ve longed for these entries,
I must declare to write in euphony-
My ink has penned passion for centuries
and my vibrant poems bring symphony.

Oh LORD, you’ve gifted me benediction.
My rhymes have become my significance-
I compose verses without restriction,
my parchment says it’s no coincidence.

If journals reveal intimate feelings,
then thousandfold words I cherish so deep-
Sincere allowance for woe gives healing,
yet my adoration for life I keep.

Expressing my desires with quill in hand
attains yearning I’ll never understand.

The Writer's Penned Prospect

The truth was here
The letters were sent
The mistakes were seen
The marks were clear
The proof was real
The smudges were seen
The words were unclear
The perfection had an imperfection
The vision was never clear
The journey was often a somber one
The time is now gone
The past survived to bring me here
The chapters and chapters continue
The words now have meaning from that past
The mistake has reason
The marks were clear; I was in a hurry
The mind raced with excitement
The laughter was there
The imperfections made a perfected decision
The writings must go on
The letters must be sent
The truth is here
The imperfection is the perfection
The journey lives on

I'Ve Penned These Words

" I've Penned These Words "

When at last we met I noted
that you are a special man
destinies fate sent you my way
its so hard to comprehend.

I read your poems and drifted
high up to the heavens above
showing me your emotional wisdom
packed full of your romantic love.

I immediately knew I finally connected
with the man that I wanted to know
thinking of all my past lonely days
its time now to let them all go.

I'm finally feeling that I really know
of my man that writes with his pen
making me happy and so complete
a wonderful feeling thats never been.

I prayed and asked god for compassion
for a true love beyond any measure
I look at this man that he sent to me
he gave to me heavens greatest treasure.

It seems a lifetime past so long ago
and yet it just happened yesterday
this special blessing god has always planned
I've Penned These Words for you today...

Penned Action Word

Thrust
into an action
Come
Into reaction
Void me
Leave me plain
I despise all things insane
I think I'm one of them
I think you're one of them too
I think I'm going crazy just thinking of ...you
How
Can you believe it
How
Can you receive it
The way of the world is such that i'm here but the lunch is so not free
I am taken aback by the works of the masters and pleasures and such
I am so simple and left with a pimple to master the words of the future I am crazily writing
I am so spitfire
Like a sun
I melt everything
Hide not; I am everything
I am going further
Into an abyss filled world
I can take it
Can you make me fake it or do you just break it
Likely story
I think nothing for it
I am going out again
Into the void I am simple and simply a man
like a golden touch
I am nothing so much
like me
Left for me
I am breathing your escape
Into you I am ...take
Thrust
I am so trust
Complete me you free me from everything so beautiful
I need nothing more
I am true
Do you realize you are my clue
I am everything
you are nothing less
Then the *(best est) in the year 1980
Quite failing and saddled by a stream
broken in between
I am soft spoken
Learn from my mistakes and erect monuments in my name
I am yours
Quite an egregious arrogant apple
I am flauting myself in the wind
So tackle.

Penned.In.Mission

A Rhyme come now at this Great Time,
Known to all from long ago as a dream,
Premonitions were named as screams
and the Vision was failed to reveal. The Reel...
has turned and Reality burns a new Light.
It's called laugh a little and grow some sight.

The balancing of an Elemental.Penned a
Mission so simple.... Euclid.eUs.ly ridiculous
as a Matter of factual and it was so theoretical
to be taken toooo scientifically serious, but it was.
Grab it see, said Real.activity it's just as in.sane
as the insanity of this poetry, but....

"Euclid's axioms seemed so intuitively obvious..."
they said while my head exploded into sum
gravitationally upside down formation of my
eyes which made me realize that it's all just a
pycho.delicately. bright trip anyway...

So I turned the page and read the comics.instead.
Now, had they said it was Lucid.Reticuli.ously ridiculous...
Perhaps even lick smackin' deliciously.kissable.ish...
I might'a believed it. But language is just relative anyway.

Duck Dodgers now there's a true explorer of the Mind
with his flat feet ninja warrior lisping beak of a tweaked
out brain. Yes, that Cat was in the sane for sure and
when he and his side.kick would make sushi? Well,
that's when the Universe just had to step up and take
sum notice. Penned.in.a.Mission a duck billed notion
of Motion in a vacuum... seriously, who's driving
us back from this expedition?

lol!! I hope you enjoy the ride, I think we're lost....

Penned Emotions

PENNED EMOTIONS

Have you noticed how unveiling
our written words can be
we paint our emotions with syllables
for all the world to see

We can glorify the happy
and darkly pen the sad
So many feelings in between
a lot of us have had

We can write of all the things
we so truly love
and all the beauty that we see
and things we are proud of

When sadness moves our pen
we spell emotions deep
when we find the right words
some can't help but weep

These feelings flow from deep inside
our written verses show
emotion that we sometimes hide
for all the world to know.
