My Ink Has Penned Passion

Be still my heart, I’ve longed for these entries, I must declare to write in euphony- My ink has penned passion for centuries and my vibrant poems bring symphony. Oh LORD, you’ve gifted me benediction. My rhymes have become my significance- I compose verses without restriction, my parchment says it’s no coincidence. If journals reveal intimate feelings, then thousandfold words I cherish so deep- Sincere allowance for woe gives healing, yet my adoration for life I keep. Expressing my desires with quill in hand attains yearning I’ll never understand. Date Written: August 26, 2016

Laura, your poem had some close attachment to me. I use to write in a diary my traumas when they occurred, but only then and I have kept them very secret. Now that I'm writing they are open to the world. Hugs Eve and congratulations on your win sweet friend

Hi Luloo, a n expressive sonnet on passion. An excellent write. Passion lives as does desire. Equal in measure love is reached. I always love the content in sonnets. The flow gentle, the rhythm holding from start to end. A wonderful write Luloo. This has to be a seven. Hugs....Mike. XX
