I'Ve Penned These Words
" I've Penned These Words "
When at last we met I noted
that you are a special man
destinies fate sent you my way
its so hard to comprehend.
I read your poems and drifted
high up to the heavens above
showing me your emotional wisdom
packed full of your romantic love.
I immediately knew I finally connected
with the man that I wanted to know
thinking of all my past lonely days
its time now to let them all go.
I'm finally feeling that I really know
of my man that writes with his pen
making me happy and so complete
a wonderful feeling thats never been.
I prayed and asked god for compassion
for a true love beyond any measure
I look at this man that he sent to me
he gave to me heavens greatest treasure.
It seems a lifetime past so long ago
and yet it just happened yesterday
this special blessing god has always planned
