Best Irreparably Poems

Thirst

Prostrated to such vastness,
unable to speak
I turned away
leaving fear standing
where I had come,
and the immense river entered
into those boundaries I had raised.

I watched the pale colors
wash away and disappear
as the water moved and swelled
and flooded all that was,
then the bells rang
the world awoke
with its insatiable thirst
that makes all beings irreparably mad.

I retraced my self back
to the perspiring
street and walked across
into the shade,
to disappear unnoticed
and silence became deep
with frightening familiarity.

I considered it to be just like
an abandoned mobile home
in Louisiana, where everything was left
as it was, to rot, to be dispersed
to bury a forsaken giggling past.

Wasn’t that a recurrence?
It’s funny how fallen into the trap,
I cut those knots and
all along let the blood drip
to mark the narrow path
till dusk took over
and none was there
for others to be seen.

I had eaten food
that makes your hunger grow,
and felt as I wore
a dress sown by death itself.
Along the filthy canal
a putrescent smell arose
and the penumbra made the gardens shine.

...That was an ordinary
evening on the Ganges’ shore
where I had brought my tiny lamp
to see the universe.

Premium Member Not Above The Law

Not above the law no more Donald Trump
Let's see you tap dance out of this slump
                                     Fined for almost a billion
                                     Not even worth a million
Dance away while we high five and fist bump!

In the poor house now, his money captured
                             Tarnished karma irreparably fractured
                                     Votes in spite his deceit
                                     We all know he'll defeat
Nikki is nominee if Trump's raptured!

Not above the law no more Donald Trump
We'll no longer be fooled, I'm no chump!
                                      Half a billion you'll pay
                                      This just isn't your day
No more bending down to kiss your rump!

Leaves Talking

She enters the room looking beyond her.
Wordless; lost in sentiment and alone.
But I am right here, always; forever.
Mumbling sweetness, such words I wish to own.

Refracted, immersed in intimation
Irreparably known by defeated.
Restless legs tapping intimidation.
How long must this cycle be repeated?

Pedestal lifted to enormity.
Disbelief selfishly inducing doubt.
All by my lonesome singing poor ole' me.
Fears form, time reveals no other way out.

My mind made, now my body in motion.
She leaves talking with silence misspoken.

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

Ballad of the Drama Queen

Not so long ago your heart was irreparably broken
You didn’t want to hear his name spoken
Your misery was so all-consuming -
And you were full of dooming and glooming -
That the threat of self-harm was bandied about
Just for attention, of that I have no doubt.
Yet here we are just a few weeks down the line
It seems to me that you’re doing perfectly fine
Professing yet more undying adoration
To the object of your latest infatuation.

I’ll give it a couple of months at best
Until he works out that you’re an unbearable pest
And like those before him (me included)
He’ll realise that you are emotionally deluded
He won’t want you clinging on like a limpet
He’ll be wanting, quickly as possible, to forget
That had the misfortune to learn your name
And became embroiled in your sick game
Because a stupid game is all it is to you
It’s the way you work; it’s what you do.

You create drama in your sad and empty life
And engineer all the stress and strife
To garner all the sympathy you can get
Whilst painting him as the worst one yet
Oh, the pain, the hurt the misery!
It wasn't how it was supposed to be...
Until the next unsuspecting guy comes into view
To be zeroed-in on by predatory you.
Then the whole charade will start again once more
But your game is tiresome and you’re a bore.

There’s a chance that one day the tide will turn
And that you will finally come to learn
That love and relationships are a two-way street
And that you will somehow, someday meet
Someone who will refuse to play by your twisted rules
Just to end up on your List of Fools.
To see beyond your artifice and manipulations
And develop for you true and strong emotions
It may come to pass, who can tell
Meanwhile you’ll put through hell.

Your latest beau has yet to experience
The depth and extent of your malevolence
When you take umbrage at an imagined slight
And manufacture yet another fight.
It’s not down to me to save him from his fate
Besides it’s probably already too late
But, what the heck, he’s made his bed
He’s believed everything you said.
You’ve dug your claws in, good and fast
Which guarantees that this relationship will not last!

Said a cocky old gentleman from Kent
Whose mind was like irreparably bent
“I’m in tolerable shape
But I look like an old ape,
My bumper is shriveled, my fender bent."

Premium Member Saying Goodbye

When I closed the door one last time
Turning to say my last good byes
                              You lay slumped in silence as I cried;
Where once you sparkled with honor and pride

Now, sadly, I leave you behind, alone
                                  Destined for places unknown
Gathering the pieces of my shattered heart
Each a reminder of the hope we would never part

All the adventures we would take, on highways
And winding country roads over mountains that led to the sea
Through rainstorms and blizzards and hot blistery days
In daylight and darkness we were free

Then, on that fateful Sunday morning,
As we drove along happily in song
Our relationship stricken and irreparably torn
By a reckless incident that now, I morn.

Written for my daughter, whose sadness I share.

Unexpected

I have this feeling,
Kinda excited,
Little anxious.
Body on edge,
Sends my mind reeling.
Can't stop smiling.
Does he think of me I wonder?
Bit of a fumbler.
Blissfully daydreaming,
That first kiss,
Hmmmm,
Lips so tempting.
Enibriated confusion,
In total splendor.
Anticipation delightful,
Make it worth the wait,
Unfocused stares,
Playing tricks on my mind.
A delicious little escape,
That's all it will be,
Unfortunately.
Good enough for me,
Actually.
Can't sacrifice,
My dear heart,
That's right there on my sleeve.
Pinch of salt,
Grain of sand,
Arms length distance,
That's where he will stand.
Unexpected to say the least,
Turned out nicer,
However,
Still somewhat a beast.
Walls sky high,
Too high for just anyone
To reach.
Always on guard,
Protecting my heart,
Sadly irreparably scarred.
Nicely unexpected,
So, so nice.
So much smiles,
I even heard my own laughter.
In my head you'll stay.
That way,
We will never have to part ways.

Trust

TRUST
People say trust is
	A two-way street
But I see trust
	As chess pieces
Often manipulated
	To fit the needs
	Of the two players
The sad thing
	Is looking back
At the conclusion of each game
And see all the chess piece
	Casualties
When you realize
How many trusts
	Had to die
For someone to win
	The ‘game’
How discouraging to know
That this simple
	Classic ‘game’
Can be so symbolic
Of our lives
When we come to the realization
That we’re all playing chess
Every day
Every person just a pawn
	Or a knight
	Or a rook
To your king or queen
Each of these pieces
	Shuffled around
Manipulated to fit
	Your end game
Each piece a trust
	Built up
Over time
Only to one day
	For the sake
Of your survival
Be destroyed
	Kicked off your board
As you’re both left
To writhe for a while
	 In the aftermath
As you momentarily
	Oh so temporarily
Bask in your win
	Your vicious victory
Only to figure out
That with every new person
	Chess piece
You meet
A new game has begun
As you carry the baggage
	Of all your broken
		Conquered
Former trusts
In a back room of your mind
Making you so much more
	Deceptive
	Objective
	Detached
	Uncaring
You so much more frail
In the next game
The next in an endless series of
	Chess matches
That will last until
You yourself fall victim
Of a trust war
And you yourself become
	Irreparably
	Metaphorically
	Symbolically
	Mentally
	And psychologically
Destroyed
Annihilated
Beyond all repair…

Cruel Dilemmas

Cool drops of water fall upon the rock
And slowly carve their way toward the sea
Much as existence, hastened by the clock,
Unfolds its wings, undaunted, soaring free.

Strange fancies yearn to take their flight and leave
The pit of slow, monotonous decay,
Though human will must bear its toil and grieve
While bound to shackles smothering their prey.

The beasts unleashed by nature never know
The cruel dilemmas baffling every mind
Held prisoner by worldly rules to grow
In covenants long settled by the blind.

The price of freedom rarely can be paid
While thoughts are trapped by reason in their cage,
Where nightmares and the arms of dread are made,
Though fear can’t turn a fool into a sage.

And, thus, existence lingers in the dust
From one illusion onward to the next,
While precious time and youthful looks are lost
And freedom is irreparably vexed.

Ice Say Water We Dew Wing To Planet Earth

Ice say... water we dew wing to planet Earth?

Tis appalling *****sapiens legacy,
the future survival of species can ill afford
hence we must not dodge and dart away,
but heed urgent call to arms decree fiat,
lest vast gamut of flora and fauna
deprived their rightful respect

courtesy ewe buick wit us ram
me bipedal hominids wresting
driver's seat and steering fate
all species unfairly doomed
analogous to horse and buggy
only far worse, whereat naked ape

that nasty short tempered and brutish
beast finagled, hijacked, besotted,
usurped... sacred covenant taurus
once illustrious precious habitats
escorted to shreds
innocent plants and animals, we

signalled anonymous poetic mouthpiece,
cuz world wide webbed tapestry
irreparably tattered, thus swiftly tailored
measures beg critters to needle
arrogantly depraved, galling humans
violating, tormenting, ruining...

basket of deplorables mankind
violently, obnoxiously, indiscriminately...
destroying carte blanche - absolute
zero guilt whittling, vaporizing,
uglifying, trampling, slashing, razing,
quashing, paving, oppressing,

eradicating, devaluing, burning...
once upon a time edenic oblate spheroid
now crowded house overpopulated
teeming billions wantonly annihilate
at expense of avast extinction
to sustain global industrialization

kickstarting lamentable machinations
spindling, fondling, mutilating
permanently desecrating scarring
wreaking havoc rendering uber

massacring, incapacitating Gaia,

promulgating me, no matter futile
effort to appeal against doom

mercilessly rained down pell mell
upon inimitable mother nature
unspeakable, unpardonable, unforgivable...
despicable, horrible, ineradicable... demise
affecting every living organism.

Truth

How is it possible to be so lost,
so completely damaged,
to be so far gone,
yet no one can see the truth?

Is my facade so damn impenetrable,
my smile that genuine,
do I deserve the academy award
because no one can see the truth?

It seems implausible really,
that you could be this screwed up,
this irreparably broken,
and still no one sees the truth.

Perhaps they don't want to see,
or consciously acknowledge,
what's staring them in the face
and just refuse to see the truth.

Or maybe, they love me too much,
to admit I'm getting close to getting ghost.
Well, look closer dammit…
the truth might just save my life!

Premium Member Is My Charmed Life Dead - In Trumps Own Words

Why would I do this
What was in my head
My charmed life of bliss
Perhaps irreparably dead?

Yes I'm a fighter
A grifter of old,
I deserve a fate brighter
But on this I've been rolled.

Politics such a foul game
They claim I'm the one crooked,
But these hacks put me to shame
With actions deceitful and wicked.

Still you know what they say
When you're in the arena riding that bull,
Hold on tight and don't sway
The harder it bucks the stronger you pull.

Melania's not happy,
The kids out of sight,
While I may sometimes get snappy
It’s when I’m alone in the dead of the night.

Truth socials' my outlet
Where I vent and I rage
An invaluable asset
With my fans to engage.

For despite all my troubles
I'm still leading the pack
Supporting my struggles
They all have my back.

Biden is scheming
When the guy remembers at all,
In most polls I am far leading
Now he's praying I'll fall.

The media is gloating
With me as their lead,
In money they're floating
When Trump is their creed.

So maybe it's worth it
This journey of pain,
The path to outwit
And put these connivers to shame.

With me as your President
The US will be great
My abilities so undeniably evident
I’m clearly your best Head of State.

Premium Member Angelic

Then an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.
—Luke 2:9 CSB

Little cherub with wee little wings.
Strawberries, crushed, enamor your cheeks
in Victorian fashion. Oft naked,
floating on chapel ceilings,
near the mother and babe.

Little cherub, not scary at all.
Magnanimous glory you do not seek.
You’d be squashed
if you weren’t so squeaky clean.

Like fleas on the shoulder,
the angelic and the devilish,
depending on mood
will be flicked away.

Little lambs cut a hole in their ghost costumes,
out comes their head,
then they don
a halo - oh, the little angel.

God puts up with such things
as sticky wings -
irreparably weak.
Heaven they don’t seek.

My Futures Past

My Future’s Past

“They” blame us for being the men,
in a sense (innocent), “we’re meant to be”. When “They” are the ones..
Changing our destinies,
And rewriting our history.
“They” blame us for the paths we take,
But pave the streets in our society.
Shackle us in chains, constrained.
Where we work for free, while not free,
In a system designed simply..
As a new incarnation of the evil,
Formlery known as Slavery.
In “The hood” “They” hide, too afraid
To face , their true identity.
Born to a home, devoid of mirrors .
Yet “They” indulge in the sin of vanity.
For God, how should I see Past their
Acts of genocide, when my Future is..
Hence•forth affected irreparably?
No matter what mountain I climb..
I’m stuck in this Sisyphean reality.
And the stone pushing me down,
Is the very one bragging at the ease
Of getting to the peak, before me.
Every Future has a Past,
And every chain has a link.
The links in my chain(DNA),
Have been altered because of my Past’s identity.
Therefore my Future if forever changed in history.

An Analysis :: Iambic Decapentasyllabic Verse

Precisely none says, what made  Humpty Dumpty famous;
Since 1872 famed, when printed in the book named
'Alice Through the Looking Glass' by writer, Lewis Caroll showing it
in illustration as an egg, portrayal which continued
to remain popular since then,  not complicated story;
The titular Humpty Dumpty, sits on a wall and falls off,
fail to put it back together, popular rhyme for kids ends.

Amusingly one may think it, egg as the main character
though the lyrics don't describe that; probably the fiction helped.
Historical evidence tells, it’s a very large cannon.
During the English Civil War, it fell off from height, shattered.
If anything had a great fall, off a wall it’s logical
to think that would be fragmented, that too irreparably.
Story tells "don't sit atop walls", is a good lesson for kids.

Maybe Humpty Dumpty rhyme was used, to look from laws in Physics.
Tried to demonstrate the Second Law of Thermodynamics;
This Law very clearly explains, in Physics what's 'entropy'.
It's a measure of disorder, also system randomness
It says higher the entropy, the higher the disorder.
After fall of Humpty Dumpty, and subsequent shattering,
inability to put it , together again is the
rep of this principle as it would be highly unlikely
to go back to earlier state, with lower entropy, as
in an isolated system, it'll never ever decrease.
