Leaves Talking

She enters the room looking beyond her.
Wordless; lost in sentiment and alone.
But I am right here, always; forever.
Mumbling sweetness, such words I wish to own.

Refracted, immersed in intimation
Irreparably known by defeated.
Restless legs tapping intimidation.
How long must this cycle be repeated?

Pedestal lifted to enormity.
Disbelief selfishly inducing doubt.
All by my lonesome singing poor ole' me.
Fears form, time reveals no other way out.

My mind made, now my body in motion.
She leaves talking with silence misspoken.

Hi, ZiNk. I'm studying the sonnet form and thought I'd look at one of yours! And from the comments below it looks like congrats are in order! This is really well done! Cheers.

Thank you Rick. I remind to allow your pen to move freely in initial thought process and not get too hung up on syllables in prose, that's what editing fun is for, as ideas are our gift and forgetting is our curse—must write all poem ideas right away...no exceptions. This concept is problematic among our peers but beats the heck out of the latter route.

Hey ironic, it's a nice take on the theme, but didn't you forget something? sonnet is 14 lines. Nice poem anyway!
