Premium Member Behold! God has a Sense of Humor!

“Ah! Ah!” cried Mr. Shaw, a museum man of science in 1799,
as he carefully unwrapped a specimen from New South Wales.
It was Labeled: "It's a weird one; Caught in a creek; Dug from a burrow with egg nest!"
Mr. Shaw’s heart thumped with suspicion of a prank or fraud, as he noted what he saw:
It had the webbed feet, a rubbery bill, and the eggs of a duck.
It had a wide flat beaver's tail and coarse thick brown fur.
It had two snake-like fangs, on its hind legs, and small piggy eyes.
It suckled its young with milk, but no nipples were found.
Mr. Shaw looked hard, but found no traces of stitches, glue or bindings.
How can this be? How can this be real? How utterly bizarre?
"Ah! Ah! I know!" God, the creator, has a wicked sense of humor!
Behold! The duck-billed, flat-footed - Platypus!

Premium Member A Sight To Behold

The artist paints. Resplendent scene.
On a mirror of liquid gold,
Swims the regal swans so serene.
The artist paints.

A new story is to unfold,
Sun joins the sea with a glazed sheen.
Nature is a sight to behold.

The golden orb, no longer seen.
Art shows twilight's colors so bold.
Brightly vivid and ever keen.
The artist paints.

Premium Member BEAUTY IN MY EYES I BEHOLD-

Beauty in the eye of the beholder
and such as it is I behold myself
and I am beautiful for all things,
that God has granted and created
So be it is as Himself
He too is beautiful and I am of I am
in all things that my eyes Sees In Front of Me
disguise the universe the lands the seas
all the waters even the rain in the trees
all things are beautiful
because beauty is in the eye of the beholder
as I am of he fine
Behold the beauty in me
All things are expedient
 All Things Are righteous
All things are encouragable
All are things pleasantries
 I am one of these
 I am beautiful indeed
For I am of I am and in Him I am
because I behold I am
The eye to Beholder
And to beholder use me beautiful

Premium Member The Blind Behold Beautiful

What is beauty to the unseeing eye?
Why does it seem to contradict?
The beholder beholds, the beholders conflict.
Are other senses true while the eyes lie?

Listen... to the dawn arise, hear the birdsong.
Feel... the cool, naughty slide of silk on your back.
Breathe... in the sin of aged Italian cognac.
Taste the deep savor of meat smoked all day long.

Premium Member Behold The Man

"Behold the man!" Pilate, Governor of Judea
                                   26-37 CE.

He had such a Longing Desire to share those
Special Moments with them. He then rose from
the table and prepared to wash their Feet.
BEHOLD THE MAN!

As they dined and shared the communion, it appears
that they drank from a common cup and ate from
a common loaf. They were indeed 'Family'.
BEHOLD THE MAN!

What a Humbling and Lovely Moment, far beyond
Anyone's expectation. He washes his disciples feet,
employing a Model he wished that they would follow.
BEHOLD THE MAN!

He expresses a deep felt Emotion about what was
Soon to happen. He knew that they all would forsake him
and run, but yet, he continued to believe in them. And
inspite of knowing what Judas would shortly do against
him, there is no indication that Judas was denied the
Priivaledge of Communion.
BEHOLD THE MAN!

There was No Shortest of Love being expressed to Judas.
Even at the moment of betrayal, Jesus addressed Judas
as Friend'. There is no distance too far nor depth too low
that God will not avail his love toward us.
Indeed. BEHOLD THE MAN!

Premium Member Beauty Behold The Dreamer

I am made of all the memories
Of days gone by

Of joyous laughter
And a tear filled sigh

Cultivating
To reap a seed

To plant a great harvest
To birth come spring

To and fro the clock tics on
Painting each moment
In loving song

To fly entwined
A spirit of love

Forged and refined
To soar high above

I stand amazed
And trek the fields

Gathering each gift
A bountiful yield

MIRROR

Mirror!
While I look at you
I see through you
My perfection and imperfections
The only true teller
Giving exactly what's before it.

You capture
My essences
Whenever we're close
Showing me
All I need to know
So I can go slow, correcting my flaws.

You're so flawless
Mirror
Whatever you get
You give, always accurate
Your informations
Very useful and valid
You never give what you don't behold.

Behold His Return

It came to pass
He had to die
The disciples gathered
From morning 'til nigh
They spoke of His goodness
They praised His great name
He is our great Father
He's loved just the same
Behold He's returned
He rose from the grave
The King of all glory
Has come back to stay

Premium Member Behold I tell you a mystery 1 Corinthians 15:51

Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall
all be changed--In a moment in the twinkling of an eye. For our
For our Lord, Himself shall descend from heaven with a mighty
shout, with the voice of an arch angel and the last trumpet of God.

And the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we who are alive
and remain, shall all be changed. And be caught up together
in the sky and so we shall always be the our Lord Jesus Christ.

For our corruptible bodies must be changed to incorruptible ones and
our mortal bodies must put on their immortal ones. "For flesh and blood
cannot inherit the kingdom of God in heaven for during the seven year's
tribulation on earth." His saints shall be safeguarded and protected there.

Behold, My King

Behold, My King.

He was standing before the throne.
He considered the one who knew of Him;
Why is my servant being stoned?

He had already told them that his kingdom would come.
They even knew it was in their generation;
Why was he not enthroned already?

Here comes another, standing before his servant.
Stephen, Stephen, Stephen!
The first Martyr.

Should he not suffer, just like the first martyr?
He never rested, but gave the message of the kingdom.
Here comes another!

Why was no one found to unseal the seven seals?
Where was my LORD, if not in the Holy of Holies?
Is he not on His throne already?

Behold the Lamb standing before the throne.
Was he not the one holding the scroll?
Alas, the Seven seals are unsealed.

Where is my king, if not on his throne already?
Behold the Lamb in the midst of the throne.
Behold, My King.

A Future To Behold

They say that once in a lifetime
A special soul comes you way,
A soul that can look so deep
Into you heart you can’t look away.
This person will open your mind to things you need to know,
Though never meeting you you have this
Feeling it’s someone you know.
Know from another time and place,
Know you are together now in this place
The answers to all your questions will be
Answered if you follow the signs,
To ignore this soul will only leave you
With too many whys behind.
Look to this soul who has been
Patiently waiting for you,
This special soul who has been chosen to help
Only you.
Go to that place in your mind where only you will know
Let this him take your hand and show you a future to
Behold.
