"One word frees us of all the weight and pain of life. The word is love.
Sophocles, Greek Poet

               ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One word cures all life's queries and distress,
While we indulge in our quest toward bliss.
Pure, lush love imparts delight and success,
Amidst life's winding path, may run amiss.
Love protects us from dread and disarray,
Serve awful time, lead us across the storm.
Love allows us to face fear and dismay,
Merry love is merely drawn in free form.
Embrace who allows us to tame our fears,
The fleeting light of our souls burns all time.
And foster kinship, swipe nerve-wracking tears,
We cry such babies, dull for bliss, sublime.
We descry solace in qualm and sadness,
While we sink in state of auric aptness.
Premium MemberVanishing Poets
Most poets are led by their Muse-
rely on its aptness to rhyme,
and image fine, word-painted scenes
with ease and finesse all the time.
For twenty-four-seven, Muse serves
no matter the hour- day or night;
there, firm by our sides, to convert
weak themes and wrong words into right.
But, time shows all Muses must rest-
deserve a vacation from us.
That emptiness hits hard at once
and writing- no longer a plus.
Their absence can last days or months,
and even for years, as with me-
when I let my poetry slide
to do other things meant to be.
Yet, one special day, Muse returns;
clear minds with true hearts feel the sign
to pick up that pen full of flow-
and know they'll be writing just fine!
And, therefore, I hope you now know
where poets- sans Muses- all go.
On Writing
Writing a poem
You can read hundreds of books by famous writer
and learn of their stories how to write.
You can read other poets work and learn the craft
 of poetry, there are so many styles, in the end
you can sit down and write a perfect poem and
it will be admired for its style and perfection,
yet by doing so, it is still not a proper poem
because the poet is hiding his emotion and honesty
in aptness that is a barrier to the truth
For without the integrity and passion the poem
will be a perfectly executed poem, it may win laurels
and win in a competition, but it is still words that
will remain so as a demonstration of the art of writing
but it will never be a poem.
A Prayer For a Life To Live
A Prayer for A LIFE to Live
I dedicate myself to thee,
0 Lord, my God, this work I undertake
Alone in thy great name, and for thy sake.
In ministering to suffering I would learn
The sympathy that in thy heart did burn.
Take, then, mine eyes, and teach them to perceive
The ablest way each sick one to relieve.
Guide my hands, that e'en their touch may prove
The gentleness and aptness born of love.
Bless my feet, so while they softly tread
May my face smile on many a sufferer's bed.
Touch my lips, and guide my tongue with words of love,
Guide me a work a sermon for each and every one.
Clothe me with patience, and strength for all tasks to bear,
Cover me with hope and love, which will know no fear,
strengthen my faith, as I come face to face with death
Guide me to inspire them with joy upon there dying ways,.
All through the arduous day my actions guide,
All through the lonely night, watch by my side,
So I shall wake refreshed, with strength to pray,
Work in me, through me, with me, Lord,
This and everyday.
Creation
Desire and lust
Spread everywhere
As if sand of a desert.
Climbing up a slippery tree
A naughty boy lucks green guavas.
Standing before a mirror
An impotent colors his white hair
To feel false taste of fugitive youth.
With anxiety, the hungry earth
Asks the greedy sun
To know her identity.
What aptness spreads
Brightness in the solar system ?
Planets, satellites, stars-all are curious.
With mouth broad open
Black holes look blank !
Who is he, running on the milky way ?
Somewhere, perhaps a helpless woman
After satisfying the lust of a libertine
Picks up her saree to hide her womanhood.
Premium MemberFinding God
Many of us do search for the truth of God
We search for him everywhere, in temples and churches
We even try to make Him come to us by chanting more than one bead
Readily we shall follow those who do hold his name as preachers!
Yet, God is not to be found thus
Subtle are indeed His ways
After all, He did make for us, sunny days
So, if you do search for him, you shall find him in all aptness
God does show Himself to those who love Him truly
Those who do yearn and pine for Him
Those who are ready to sacrifice everything for him readily
Those who without Him, have their eyes always full with tears to their brim
Shall you be given the option, between the real and the unreal
Shall you be able to pass the test, so terrible
Pray tell me, if you do search for God
You have to yearn with your heart, only then you shall be heard!
I Know Why a Dumb Fights For Freedom of Speech
The man of eloquence
With all the aptness of words
 And craft of speech
Silently sits on the fence
Holding his tongue tight
And see the fun when tasteless
 Jokes being cracked upon
The poor, weak and downtrodden.
But the dumb knows
Neither rest nor respite
Until he shoots his shouts
Throws his disgust and anger
Through the language of his body
With the help of gesture
Against the filth, lies
Deception and injustice of an oppressor
The man of rhetoric
As if he knows neither the value
Or the power of his logic
His being mute is conspicuously inauspicious
As if he never joined to earn
The right of freedom of speech
Whereas, the dumb man
Knows the meaning of sound
The value of the words
So he tries to articulate them
With utmost care and sincerity
Whenever he sees a slightest opportunity
Against an unjust or a wrong
As he knows speech is a special gift
Either from nature or from god .
But the man with gift of the gab
Wastes it when he holds his piece
Or misuses it when he spreads
 Hatred and blatant lies in fear, in greed.
The One
You are an amazing shining star
Your dedication and dreaming will carry you far
What is it about you? You don't know why?
It's how the sun reflects and twinkles in your chestnut eyes
It's how your lips slightly curl when you flash a cunning grin
It's how you radiate energy and are built to win
It's in the robust and brawniness of your voice
It's how you trudge through the darkness still making the right choice
It's in the aptness of your mind
Further proving you are one of a kind
Fascinating, dexterous, attractive, and adept
You stole my breath and off my feet I was swept
Against you, competition there is certainly none
In a class by yourself, you are certainly the one.
Take "me" away,,
from truths..) un-form me"
unseen to halogise with...
May my aptness be swirled
and re-involved prescience
emerge now as resolutions to
eternal resolve..Are become..!
Happened Holiday
Not driven by madness
sadness
gladness
over aptness
the glass hits the ground…….
It’s the hapless
witless
heartless
thoughtless
that bring the falling down…….
When the tremor
quiver
shiver
undeliver
able, don’t quite make it home…….
Refusing to cry
try
fly
wonder why
and then never answer the phone…….
Crown
While losing strength in faked renown,
that some lost treason I could own
then dissipate, as if my prone
were self existing, ne'er be sown!
For thy concern in mine seems lone,
as vestige gathers for a throne
and when its aptness, stressed out - shown
does wish for somnolence and loan.
Some caring of my heart disown
is only of thy trials, their moan
as righteous thought would leave unknown
because resentment hones and hones -
It's still of love I ask condone
until thy hope recovers crown.
