your approval

Never thought of pleasing nobody before
Until I saw your eyes asking for more
I knew your love was unconditional
And yet the thought of deceiving you was making me do the unpredictable
Can't you see that my hair, my dress, and my manners scream you all over?
Can't acknowledge my feelings that are suppressed and have a cover?
Maybe if I smile like you you'll notice
Maybe when my skin molds into you you'll focus
But until then I'll wait for your approval
And imprison my being into a glass oval

Inward Journey

In the vast universe of crowd around
One forgets to feel his own presence and charm
Everything else seem so perfect and impeccable
One does not value his own potential and worth
But,when one realizes his inner self
He understands his soul and worth
He starts to love himself
Fearing no lies and betrayal
Though the world is full of lies and fallacies
The inner self knows, what he is
No one can fool him with a fake smile
Once he follows the path of wisdom
In solitude, one feels his value
Understanding, what he seeks
Loving thyself is the greatest feeling
The worth of which, nobody can rate
When one understands his thoughts and beliefs
He knows,what he actually needs
The emotions and feelings that the heart holds
In search of inner self, one can know
One understands what he believes and why
Does not need any approval from others to survive...

I Seek No Man's Approval

The universal yearning to be famous
or heap together masses of monedes
mean zip to me. My id’s an ignoramus.
So own your games of thrones, your maravedis.
Your Florida is Phobos, Denver, Deimos:
your Aspen’s asinine, your Hamptons, Hades.
The rutting writ no longer runs, to tame us:
Pam Blondie you can keep, and likewise ladies
who once manipulated that mandamus -
your Slinky Susies and your Sultry Sadies.
So what remains? It needs no Nostradamus!
The three of us, and Guinness, in O’Grady’s -
my friend and brother, Fighting Irish Seamus:
my little Spanish missus, named Mercedes.

Premium Member The Expectation of Approval

The expectation of approval is decay
It creeps in days of illness full of sorrow
You tarry stolidly until it shrinks away
And disappears with the morning croaks of crow
Poor thing, it cannot stop its hoarse lament
At least you hear it this way, although it might
Just laughing, and you fail to understand
What’s going on, what’s happening outside.
As you are always anchored to the past
The future comes unnoticed, which seems great
Forgetfulness takes up a final thrust
Memory wins, but no one cares, it’s too late..

Gotcha !

Tingly skies full of surprise oh how I love when with surmise,
the little rascal aims his dart as if it were, poetic art !
His countenance reeks of admiration, which speech can't disguise—
but much of this—his antics—I'd known quite well from the very start.

The cold air in the room is too tempting to chase away love,
yet I choose to be oblivious to what my heart is saying.
No soothsayer need tell me our feelings fit like hand in glove—
yet still I must conceal the tale my restless heart keeps portraying.

He thinks I’m playing hard to get—or fears he’s not quite good enough,
though approval glows on my face—the same he's on both knees for.
Perhaps he believes my "yes" won’t come so easy, or off the cuff—
but truth be told, I might… though not before he pleads a bit more.

My heart is too fragile for love to easily find its way in,
so the longer he talks, the more it begs him for a breakthrough.
My lips tremble when he kisses me, to seal what he calls a win—
When cupid's arrow aims for you, there isn't much that you can do !

Thumbs up or thumbs down,
Public voice, a shifting tide,
Numbers speak their minds.

Premium Member Your the God Whose Shown Me That My Approval Is Made-

God
Oh and all mine efforts Lord
Worth your approval so;
and My God you're God whose shown me that my approval is made
Mercy grace shines in my face
It's placed on the altar;
Help me yet still Father;
And may you the Lord, our God show
May you God shoe thine approval
And so
God
Oh and all mine efforts Lord
Worth your approval so;
and My God you're God whose shown me that my approval is made
Mercy grace shines in my face
Amen

Power's out, sure hope it's fixed soon
Got poems in my beano just bursting to bloom

Premium Member Approval Gaze

Exposed by Your divine glowing glance
My soul melted in carnality’s shame
Revealing hypocrisy lurking against guilt…
I earnestly repent midst judgment-balance.

Caught by Your compassionate look, never hasty
My heart yielded to be locked inside Your fortress, love-built
Delightfully abiding in Your gracious imprisonment
Braced upon mercy and truth’s security.

In Your omniscience, I’m kept in Your care
Never facing terror of grievous abandonment
You valued my being with grand significance…
Now, I can vanquish torturous loneliness-scare.

With Your approval, sealed by Your favour*
My faith, Lord, meets Your gaze of illumining fervour
Yielded I am for Your guidance in my endeavour
Offering to You my service as oblation of sweet savour.

*Psalm 106:4 Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation.

Said Best By Lovers Approval

is love exstincted
and soiled by it haver
is love borrowed
and brokered into
a new persons having
or are lover gold brickers
who moonlight
until tired and in need of rest
than are these new positions next
by design
that the authors of these storied
mentions are acted out
in performances
to be seen by those who relate
to the drama
then when those audiences tire
of you are we then appointed to new positions to
exhaust one another
in the boredom of believing
love keeps people together
or do lovers keep each other
so that their belief in love and loving
can survive from
each day to strengthen those
tomorrows
where we'll need one another

Premium Member The Approval Seeker

The woman fretted too much over this and then that.
Was her hair the correct color or was she perhaps a tad fat?

Did her neighbors really like her or was it all make-believe?
She whimpered softly and wiped a rivulet of tears with her sleeve.

She then remembered she was a truly a creation of the most High
God.
And it was only His Divine approval, that truly was worth a nod.

It's better for her to be kind and giving to others.
And stop walking about looking for approval from her sisters and brothers.

Abandon your feelings of anguish

Assuage your spirits of animosity

Absolve your heart’s solid armor
Awry are your moods of aversion
Auras of your judgements atrocious
Alive are your dreams so auspicious
~
Awakening your views on attrition
Attempting to give you real altruism
Appoint your joy to this admiration
Adoration of God’s Son’s approval
