The Approval Seeker
The woman fretted too much over this and then that.
Was her hair the correct color or was she perhaps a tad fat?
Did her neighbors really like her or was it all make-believe?
She whimpered softly and wiped a rivulet of tears with her sleeve.
She then remembered she was a truly a creation of the most High
God.
And it was only His Divine approval, that truly was worth a nod.
It's better for her to be kind and giving to others.
And stop walking about looking for approval from her sisters and brothers.
