Why I write

The pen holds my body, In its inky sweet repose. The ink holds my words, For the paper it will impose. I write because I release you, I release what’s in my head. I write because I beseech you, Leave me now, go back to bed. Melancholy or joy filled words, I love to fill the page, I breathe again once it’s been said, New experience, no more rage. I write because something happens, Something happens when all’s said and done. The sponge is squeezing atoms, Atoms of my words, my song.
